I can't be satisfied with Ten Hag even though Manchester United won the FA Cup last season. This was not Ten Hag's first season with Manchester United. At the same time, United management provided Ten Hag with large funds for player purchases. However, Ten Hag failed to strengthen the Manchester United team last season.

This season too, it is likely that Manchester United management have given Ten Hag the freedom to add players to the squad of his choice. I doubt if Ten Hag will succeed. Manchester United definitely wants to dominate the Premier League again. But is it possible for Ten Hag?

But Ten Hag gets more blame as we have seen in many news reports that Ten Hag's relationship with squad players is not good. Ten Hag is a bit monotonous. You are right that Manchester United's overall performance was unstable due to injury problems. United management is rich enough. They should definitely strengthen the bench team. Erik Ten Hag cannot be blamed and his decisions for the club so far since he again his current position has been great. Since he joined the club, he has won two trophies for them with the latest one been the FA Cup which no one saw it coming because of the team they faced in the finals. It shows that, in every situation he finds himself with the players, he’ll always try and bring out the best in them. In every bad situation and how worst the performance of the team might be in the season during league games, he always and the season with a trophy for them and that’s what we call never giving up.

A team with this kind of game can't win any tournament a priori, but it happened and I'm sure it's not a great credit to Ten Hag. Apart from the FA cup trophy that Eric Ten Haag won for Manchester United last season, i didn't see much effort of the coach towards the team as it has been from one blame game to another. You can't handle a team if you keep on blaming the players because without their cooperation a coach can do nothing. For what it's worth, winning a trophy cannot be a fluke, especially a trophy that so many teams participated in Andy would have loved to win. The FA cup is a major trophy, Manchester United's bad performance last season won't change that.
I have always been a critique of Ten Hag in Manchester United, but you have to give him credit for winning the trophy.

Manchester United won't win the league with Ten Hag though, because his team is not consistent enough. They play perfectly well in two straight game and then go on to the next three games and turn to a disaster. It's a good thing Manchester United are trusting a manager and giving him time, I'm just not sure if Ten Hag is the one they should be backing this much. Only time can tell.
For now the bar is really low so I can't ask Ten Hag to win the league next season, but if his team plays very well and are able to make it to the top 4, I i think it would be considered a success.

If Erik ten Hag hadn't won the cup last year, he would have been sacked by now. Manchester United haven't been playing good football for a long time. There are a lot of things that need to change in the team. The coach needs to give up his insistence on playing some players. Although this was one of the biggest criticisms made against him, we could not see good things for the team in terms of play. Yes the FA cup win only is not that enough they should have done better in other competitions like the UEFA Champions league, at least last 16 qualification and nothing short of it, also the league finish was poor that they needed FA Cup to get to the Europa League competition. Ten Hag will certainly receive full support from United management, which is proven by the new contract extension offered to Ten Hag. Ten Hag adventure with The Red Devils last season was very disappointing, United received a lot of bad reviews regarding their performance throughout the season, it is clear that Ten Hag needs to make changes to his squad.

United needs polish in almost every line, they also have to ensure their rotation options are of sufficient quality. A number of players will be released, and United will likely carry out a warehouse clean up. Honestly, I see that Jim Ratcliffe has taken the right policy by retaining Ten Hag, he didn't immediately completely overhaul the squad like the Chelsea owner did, that's good enough to keep the transition of players running properly.

Last season, United recruits did not perform optimally for various reasons, mainstay players like Rahsford also failed to show their best performance, whereas overall United last season was a lot of chaos. Erik Ten Hag is not the first coach who has made complains about the behavior of Marcus Rashford, I don't care what his valuation would be or price tag but I would love to see him leaving Manchester United. All this issue with Rashford began when he renewed his contract at the club. If you watched, after he joined the senior team from the academy, he did exceptionally well, he was humble, productive and scored many goals to the extent he was being compared to Mbappe, but the moment he signed a new contract and became the highest paid in the club, his attitude changed drastically; both on and off the pitch. He became less involved in the club, did things as it suited him and knowing he is one of the best the team has got added to inflate his ego.

The decision of Manchester United management to give Ten Hag time again next season to train all the players in the team is quite a wise decision. Because after all, each team must have patience in waiting for good results and this will of course be achieved through a long process by all teams. So the decision to keep the old coach on the team is not a bad decision and other people will not immediately blame the team management if Ten Hag is again unsuccessful in coaching the Manchester United team next season.

Hated by some, but he's still a fighter. Now he has a chance to prove himself as management has chosen him despite all the recent criticism.
