Manchester United's problems are not financial; they are leadership. Ten Hag has to develop his ego control. We've all seen the spats with Ronaldo, Sancho, and even young Garnacho. Ten Hag is the problem of Manchester United in my humble opinion and I take his inability to control the dynamic team as one of major factors affecting the consistency of the club despite being one of the elite clubs in the Premier league and by extension, in the world. Ten Hag needs to work on his weeknesses to improve the team's performance this next season, else they may get it worse than the last time. Why I will find it difficult to blame the squad, is because there are other clubs with less strong and talented squad depth, yet they were kinda more consistent than the Manchester United last season.

I thought Zirkzee would be interested in going to some other club instead of Manchester United. Because of the obvious downfall of United recently. But I guess sometimes a player has to not look at that. Probably the biggest thing that he thought about was Red Devils actually needed him. Perhaps more precisely, Ten Hag has spent two full seasons with Man United. And the results are actually different between season one and season two. Ten Hag's first season with Man United went quite smoothly. Because Man United managed to finish in 3rd place and get a ticket to UCL. Man United seems to be looking at next season very seriously. Their decision to stick with Ten Hag was the right choice because even though he put Man United in a bad place in the standings, at least he could still provide an achievement in the FA Cup, and it looks like the boards have the same opinion as Ten Hag regarding the long-term plans. Since the Mourinho era, there is no coach who can present the trophy other than Ten Hag. So it is appropriate for Man United to retain a coach who might provide another series of trophies.
