The man does care about how the players play, if they like they should play well or not he doesn't care, all he knows is that nothing positive can come out of these guys and he's just there at UTD for the money/his contract and the board members are the ones killing Manchester United if so. I feel the players  knows about this development and it annoys many of them that they even find it hard to put their best in any crucial game, I wonder how they'll play when it's time for the Manchester derby.
Erik ten Heg only has the selections to make and maybe talk to the players like every other manager does but to me he can't wait to leave Manchester United because his mind is not there to be frank with you, his body language says it all so he had to do whatever he feel like doing after all they can't sack him, but let's see if these things continue till the end of the season.

When Ten Hag first stepped into the club, the players as well as the fans had high hopes, and honestly he was doing a great job, earning Manchester United awesome victories with his strategic signings and approaches, the problem I believe began from when Ten Hag started letting go off a few players that has contributed and we’re still actively contributing to the club for some reason I don’t know. Yeah he made some more pretty good signings but it’s quite unfortunate that the squad he built isn’t giving him the result he expected, I don’t know if I’ll say the teams aren’t compatible with each other or with the coach. Since Sir Alex Ferguson left Manchester United to retire as football head coach, Manchester United has been in the news of sacking their coach every two seasons to replace with a new one, but still, the team hasn't gained a good performance to give them the Premier League title, it's either the FA Cup Community Shield which was won by the first manager after Sir Alex retirement, in the person of David Moyes in 2013/2014, FA Cup in 2016 by Louis Van Gaal, in 2016/2017 Mourinho won Europa League title and League Cup.
