What is more important than suddenly performing well in a match and winning by a large margin is to perform a certain performance consistently. In the case of Liverpool, I noticed these things that they would win one match by a big margin and in another important match they would lose. The EFL Cup is a bad consolation prize should they win it. I think this failure against PSG will be in their heads for quite some time because this season was looking so perfect. It couldn't have gone any better for them after Klopp left the club and while they dominated the Premier League, it remained to be seen how they would do in the Champions League and they dominated there as well during the league phase.

I think the Premier League is not the most competitive league this season when compared to La Liga or Serie A. The difference in points between the top 4 teams is very large in the Premier League, while La Liga and Serie A are very thin. Liverpool leads the Premier League standings without any clear obstacles from competitors, while Barcelona and Inter still have to maintain their focus so as not to lose a single point in each match. Even if Liverpool lose a few matches, I don't think Arsenal or Nottingham will increase their chances of winning the title, that's how safe Liverpool is at the top.

I agree about Nottingham, none of us predicted they would be in 3rd place at this point. The poor performance of several teams in the Premier League was maximized by Nottingham and they really did well. He doesn't really has anything to offer the club at this point and I think he is not having anything to say to the journalist, if they really are that confident in there place about the place and winning the Champions League, he will says nice things and wouldn't walk out but we have to see what they can do because been a second place in the Premier League with many point difference is really not enough but some people are using the goals scored to judge.

When asked, I will say they are certain to win both trophy in the two competitions because of their performance this season. They have been playing great in all competitions this season and it was just an hard luck on them to have witnessed such a defeat when they thought they were going to make it to final round of the tournament. The premier league is very much within their reach already and the EFL cup will be what is in contention for them which I feel they can also stand a chance to win if they play well in the competition with their quality form so far this season.

I give my applause to the Manchester United. They did it very well by always creating many big chances since the first half. Sadly, their garbage strikers missed it all. It's always disastrous seeing how their forwards playing.

It's good that Unied had a game strategy, which is playing defensive game and use counter when the opportunity come. It worked out for them but like you said, their strikers wasted all the good chances that they could have used to bury Arsenal. United problem is a good striker because it's always Fernandez that has been helpful in scoring goals.

The possession percentage of that team was also very good and that was 69 percent and possession of Manchester United team was only 31 percent and passes of Arsenal team were more and these were 587 . The passes of Manchester United team were 275 and their shots were 10 and 6 were on target.The pass accuracy of Manchester United team was 75 percent and that of Arsenal football team was 89 percent. Brighton are slowly regaining their form after they looked quite disappointing at the start of the season but for now they are slowly gaining good momentum to be able to make changes to make their position better.

Liverpool will win the Premier League no doubt but I just pray that they are not dampen by the loss they incurred from PSG because such things demoralizes clubs so much that they will start losing other matches because of lack of confidence. I agree with you, the first position and second are already known. The third, fourth and fifth are still unknown yet, Nottingham may not last longer among the top 3, 10 games is enough to shift them downwards.

It's a fight among Chelsea, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest, the spot for Nottingham Forest based on their top form i consider them fit to qualify for the Champions League, Manchester City may rebrand their squad given them the hope of performing better but Chelsea already have the squad together and are still struggling, even in today's game against Copenhagen, i can see lot's of mistakes in the game. Chelsea may just end fifth on the table if they are not careful, with top features they have against Arsenal and Tottenham in the coming weeks.

Yes you are right there performance this season is very impressive and that is why they are even leading in the premier league table but we should also accept the fact that PSG is inform this season and there performance is also incredible so PSG winning Liverpool shouldn't look weird or as if they are not suppose to win Liverpool as a matter of fact I think they deserved it because they played Liverpool like craze in there home even though Liverpool almost did the same in there home.
