Why did you remove Arsenal among the teams that have secured their spots? I think despite the fact that Arsenal can’t compete for the title again this season, I think they have the capacity to maintain the second position because they can even compete for the title if Liverpool make any mistake to drop points.

The top four will be within Manchester City, Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, and Newcastle United. These teams have close points gap and any one among them can make it to the list if they keep their consistency. However, teams like Manchester City and Chelsea can use their experience to secure the spot but Nottingham Forest is ready for the challenge too this season.

@Abu-Naim  you seem to sound like an Arsenal and it's natural we would always pick our club's before others but if we're to be realistic with the performance of Arsenal not being solid it's possible they can slip off in the remaining 10 games to go, and addition to the points gap from Nottingham Forest, Manchester city and Chelsea it's just 6 to 7 points difference. If Arsenal should drop points in just two games then their second position would be overtaken so it's fair to not add Arsenal as a side that have secured a position yet.

Glad to see that how EPL still has some sense to prevent stupid goal keepers to do time wasting. It's always disgusting when i was seeing a goal keeper such as Raya and E Martinez were always doing time wasting.

The next rule is to give 8 seconds as the maximum time for the GK to holding the ball. When GK holds more than 8 seconds, and opponent will be awarded corner kick.

I do like this new rule as it's preventing team like Arsenal and Villa did time wasting.

Isn't this new rule a lighter version of the old rule? If I remember correctly, the old rules allowed you to hold the ball for 6 seconds and if you violated it, you would get a free kick in favor of your opponent (which is obviously more dangerous than a corner) and a yellow card at the referee's discretion.
To be honest, I don’t see any logic here; they could have simply more strictly demanded compliance with the rules already in force.

I believe there is going to be a great change in the club next season, the new players are really trying to prove there worth and I believe the club will fare more better next season. It is beyond the bounds of possibilities for Manchester city to finish first position this season because the difference in point between Manchester city and Liverpool that is topping the premier  league is really much. However there focus now should be on how to be among the top four,  since the chances of them topping the league this season is out for them, and also there next focus should be on how to win the FA Cup and use that to consolidate there losses this season and  prepare fully for next season.

If Manchester City is still in the FA cup then they should focus there and try very hard to maintain there top 4 spot in the English premier league because for them finishing second in the league is still impossible more or less winning the English premier league this season, they should prepare their self very well next season I believe injuries really spoiled Manchester City game this season after doing well in the begining of the season Manchester City started losing game back to back any team were winning them .
Manchester City has been dominating the English league in the past season so if they are not doing well is because they have been doing before I believe this season is a different season for the citizens.

I love everything about this new rule. Goalkeepers are very fond of delaying time especially when their teams are winning and that I think slows down the nervous moments in football. So I'll be happy to see how goalkeepers will now be forced to not hold the ball past 8 seconds. Emiliano Martinez I think is the major specialist in doing that but now that the rule will take effect next season, every goalkeeper will just have to adapt to that

Possibly Arsenal had comfortable secured the second position spot that why Arsenal was not mentioned now the trio of Nottingham Forest, Chelsea and Man City would compete and slug it for the two remaining UCL spot, it definitely going to be serious competition among those three clubs considering their point gap which is n the range of one point difference any complacency and drop of points means that club would be displaced and drop, personally I prefer Nothingham Forest and Chelsea to claim the two spot.

To me, I feel that Manchester United has a better chance of winning the Europa League than winning the FA Cup. The reason is not far fetched, it is obvious that Manchester United coach is struggling to cope with the pattern of play of the English Premier League. Considering the point difference between liverpool and arsenal, did you really think it will be possible for arsenal to close this huge gap talk More of competing with liverpool? However, is obvious that the possibility for this dream to come through is not certain.

Nothing surprising, people think that changing a coach and replacing him with a “successful” coach from a non-top 5 league will instantly bring result. I laughed when they signed Amorim. Liverpool can be assured of the title if there is no problem with the main squad. They will be hard to unseat when they play like this continuously. I agree that Manchester City season is not going as well as they wanted because they got eliminated from Champions League and it is unlikely they will win Premier League title. Now it is best to accept how things are and focus on finishing in top four so they can play in the Champions League again next season. Since winning Premier League title is no longer possible Manchester City can focus on FA Cup and Club World Cup which they still have chance to win. Winning one or both of these competitions would be nice prize and would help boost team spirits. As you said next season Manchester City will probably come back stronger and play better.
