Even Manchester City players and management can't even dream of winning the league this season even if they start winning all their matches from this weekend.

No matter what Manchester City do this season, they can never win the title race this season, I don’t even think they are still hoping to win the league title this season. Liverpool which is in 1st position is currently ahead of Manchester city with 20 points, even if they win all their matches they won’t be able to catch up with Liverpool, and from the way Manchester City are playing currently they can’t even win all their matches.

Although, Manchester City will qualify for the Champions League next season because they will finish in top 4 of which I'm very sure of. They have had a disappointing season so far and this is Pep's worse season so far in his coaching career.

Am not really sure yet that Manchester city will qualify for champions league yet, they need to improve their performance if they really want to end the season in top 4. The only club which I can say they will qualify for the champions league is Liverpool, and Arsenal, they other two positions left, I don’t know who will end the season in those two positions. Nottingham forest, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle are struggling for champions league position, and if Manchester City are not careful, they might not achieve that.

Of course, that is what is expected to have safe points to be at the top of the standings, because it will allow Liverpool to rotate players. With the right rotation of players to do, it will have a good impact for Liverpool to have good preparation in the Champion League. Although indeed, basically PSG is also a safe team at the top of the Ligue 1 standings but still, for competition in the Champion League that PSG is still not strong enough to be able to go further. What's more, Liverpool's trend is better by being at the top of the Champion League standings too, while PSG only qualifies through the play offs. Thus, Liverpool should be able and successful to consistently get good results in the Premier League  and the Champions League this season.

I'm watching the game of PSG Vs Liverpool in the Champions League currently and PSG is owning the English league leaders and pegging them to their half. Allison is the reason why Liverpool is not yet losing by a huge margin in the encounter. The coach has to talk to his boys and come up with another strategy to dealing with this PSG constant threat in the Liverpool half. So far it's half time and the visitors are still holding on, let's hope the second half turns in their favour.

Slot gets two matches ban after he has been allegedly doing sarcasm to Oliver. I think this is a diabolical decision by PGMOL. F PGMOL and their referee. They never try to fix their refereeing problems.

As far as i know Slot told Oliver " if Liverpool unable to win the trophy, i would blame you". I believe Slot is factually correct about this considering how garbage Oliver as a referee, and worth to be replaced with a quality one.

I think this can be solved if PGMOL releases the audio, but they deny it. PGMOL and Oliver are weasel.

Depends on the context. I mean if Slot was just joking around then yeah I can see less issues, or even no issues at all but if he meant it and attacked the ref this way, then you can't do that. Don't get me wrong, everyone hates the refs, we have seen too many things that were done terribly by the refs but that doesn't mean managers could put pressure on the refs this way.

All around the world, we are seeing refs are getting more and more hate these days and that will not end because social media made every mistake 1000x more visible and refs are getting problems because of it. They do not need managers to start attacking them on top of this neither, we can't make this work if that starts to be a problem too.

Liverpool has been able to progress leisurely in the Premier League this season and can focus on preparing themselves in the Champions League this season, especially today when Liverpool faces PSG in the last 16 later. Now with the number of points gap that Liverpool has with Arsenal, of course Liverpool no longer considers Arsenal as a serious obstacle to the title problem this season because Liverpool certainly will not experience a series of points losses in the remaining season in the Premier League.

Even though this season still has several matches left, maybe Liverpool is already quite relaxed with the remaining matches in the Premier League. Liverpool's impressive performance this season, which hopefully they can maintain for next season. However for me, actually the most impressive performance was shown by Nottingham. Liverpool can always be close to the top of the standings every season, but Nottingham, they really gave a surprise.

We can't stay here and know for sure if Liverpool will continue their fine form next season, let's not get carried away by their performance this season, because lots of things can change in the coming days. Of course Liverpool are expected to lose some of their finest players in the summer. Especially with Moh. Salah and Trent Alexander Arnold rumoured to leave the Anfield at the end of the season. With Salah expected to make a big money money to the Saudi league and Alexander Arnold favoured to join real Madrid. So many things are there suggesting that Liverpool might not be the same next season.

 Well Nottingham forest has been exceptional this season, but I will give them the full praises if they can successfully make the top 4. Right now it's looking more like they will lose the top 4 spot, because they are just few points separating them and the teams behind them. With Manchester city and Chelsea very close to them, it will be difficult for them. But they are sure of making Europe next season, but the champions league is not yet guaranteed.

Arsenal will ultimately only be the team that continues to maintain second place in the Premier League. In the last two seasons we continue to see Arsenal almost becoming champions in the Premier League but in the end they always fail to maintain their standings and in the last two seasons Manchester City always manages to take it at the last moment or at the end of the season. but this season it's much worse. Because Liverpool has managed to take first place since the middle of the season and maintain it until now. And with the points difference starting to grow, it is almost impossible for Arsenal to catch Liverpool again. Unless Arsenal wins all the remaining matches and well expect Liverpool to lose points in several matches. But indeed, with Liverpool's current performance, it feels like Liverpool will continue to win the remaining matches too.

Second best is not enough, I wish Arsenal can just prove Eveeyone wrong that we have some potential to give Premier League but it has never been better than before. I don't know whether Manchester City has been a k study for Arsenal or perhaps they were thinking Manchester City would be the lead and they were following them to pass them and they forgot to focus on their own self and Liverpool has taken over the table which is now impossible to override.

Who knows what tomorrow pregnant, you may wake up as see trophy on Arsenal hands again after their 17 years of no trophy. I never expected Liverpool to even be better this season and now here they are doing better, look calm and in addition, if they don't manipulate it this time around Salah maybe winning his first Balon D'or after many years in the Premier League without any recognition from the football journalists who do this voting of awards.

That is true because it is almost the same pattern of the results that occur in the back of the two seasons where Arsenal's position as a title challenger is still in question the level of consistency they show and even lead the standings until the middle of the season does not make Arsenal have the opportunity to get a degree that has been so long they have never gotten. Liverpool seemed to have no strong challengers because assuming Arsenal could win the whole match, it was still quite difficult to expect Liverpool to lose points in the rest of the match.

There are several matches this weekend, but I can only think of 2 matches that I think will be interesting matches.

• Nottingham vs Man City

Do you think Man City can beat Nottingham and keep getting 3 points in every match?
Previously, Nottingham played at home against Arsenal and managed to hold a draw. While Arsenal is considered a better team than Man City this season. So I have a thought that Nottingham can repeat the same result if they want to stay in the top 3.

• Man United vs Arsenal

If Man United is able to take advantage of the current opportunity, it could beat Arsenal. Because I am sure some of the main players will be absent from the match and rely on second string players. It was all done to maintain Arsenal's physical condition which still has a second leg match schedule in UCL.

There are only 2 possibilities between Man United failing to beat Arsenal and only ending in a draw or succeeding in stealing 3 points from Arsenal.

Literally, Liverpool isn't as strong as in those season's when team like Manchester city were in top lead for the EPL title, like win matches with opponents completely hands down. What am I trying to say?  Arsenal gave Manchester city the biggest pressures in all the seasons that City won the EPL trophy.  Unlike what they are doing this season with Liverpool, the competition is not heated as Arsenal have been so inconsistent with their performance dropping points even in games they should win and take all points therefore leave Liverpool with little or no pressure in the race this season.

Liverpool was always competitive and strong in last few years but sadly due to injury issues they were facing problems now Arne Slot taking good advantage of having good squad which is playing with good depth and things are going balanced for them.

In this season they are having good lead at the top while Manchester City and Arsenal are suffering badly due to injuries which give them not good results Mohammad Salah is at the peak of game as now he is writing his name in record books due to his impressive performance and good number of goals. Arsenal is now also good side but Mikel Arteta needs to work on rotation which helps his player's performance level without having too many injuries which are giving them problems in last few years despite having good results.

Yes, for the most part, Liverpool are just using the advantage they had at the start of the season that made them win the EPL. And this is absolutely normal, they would be fools if they didn't realise that this is their chance and getting injured or suspended players from now on is strictly forbidden. So they are still at the top and are unlikely to leave it now

I think this is a what Arsenal has been lacking not just this season but for the past three seasons that they have  been contending for the league, this season the lack of consistency grew worse and I am not surprised seeing them in this position at the moment, although many have predicted they would be the heir for the crown if Manchester City flutters but lack of consistency shows yet again.

The seven goals against PSV doesn’t change a thing about their lack of consistency because PSV have been awful too in their league and were poor yet again. More so a certain form in another competition doesn’t matter much in another competition, Arsenal can win big today and go ghost in front of goal the following match day.

In my opinion I think both results are good, but playing against Manchester City makes this look inconsistent because most of the time they have raised the bar so much that unreal performances were necessary to win the title.

Quickly getting back to form such that it doesn't ge tto turn the season into a completely terrible one for them is what Arsenal was able to do that has helped them so far that they are now able to get some really good results,  typically the game against PSV was an establishment of confidence and good form for Arsenal and now I believe they are going to strive even more to see if it were going to be possible they become a champions league top competitor because I know that for this season,  the Premier league isn't one they may get at all.

I do like this new rule as it's preventing team like Arsenal and Villa did time wasting.

This is a good development to the game to cub the issue of time wasting by goalkeepers. Instead of just issuing a yellow card to the goal keepers the opposing team will get a corner kick or trowing. I like this new pattern and can’t wait to see it implemented in the games next season. No more dark arts.

Too many new rules and laws wants to spoil the beautiful game of football that is enjoyed by many, even though I don't support time wasting by players especially goal keepers I don't like the fact that because of Time wasting that a team will be awarded a Conner kick or throwing, come on let say things the way they are this rule is taking away the originality of the beautiful game of football time wasting by goal keepers is one of the things that makes football interesting especially towards the ending of a game when the opposing team is losing.

At this point I think Salah is going to break that 31 goal record, 6 goals is not very much since there's still lots of games to be played before the season ends by May, the only thing that could hinder him from achieving it is an injury and I hope he doesn't get injured cause it would really affect Liverpool and they could bottle the league due to Salah impact so it would be tough without him.

 Well, Cody Gakpo and Diaz are impressive too they've also helped the team with their individual performances but both of them combined doesn't come close to Salah impact at Liverpool not to even talk of their goals combined, Salah is like a god in Liverpool currently and I hope he achieve lots this season, he deserves it.

With only six goals remaining to break the 31 goals record and up to 13 games left to play this season I also agree that Salah can beat the mark except he incurs an injury that will keep him out for weeks if not there is a huge possibility that he can achieve this. They have a number of easy games ahead that he can get one or two goals from each; Southampton, Fulham, Leicester City and Westham are good games to get six goals from.

I think we are gradually losing football as we know it, every season new rules but they can't improve in their officiating and no one is talking about it or how they can improve with this bad behavior by the refs. I know goalkeepers are always waiting to sleep on the pitch with the on their hands but instead of corner why not give the opposition a free kick (an indirect free kick depending on where the goalkeeper wasted time) that would make the goalkeepers to always start the ball very fast rather than wasting time, the corner won't give the players 99% chance of scoring but if the ref blows for a free kick inside the box then it will an opportunity to score and next time the goalkeeper won't hold the ball for long.

I am bit surprised Arsenal won with the big score on champions league last night. I am pessimistic they can't handle that match based on what happened in the last 2 matches on premier league. But Arsenal proved that they are worthy of a top standing in the premier league. So, if it's for the premier league title, I think it's mission impossible to shift Liverpool's position. The realistic is they can better to struggle more step to champions league, but of course there is too many struggle to get more advance to next round. Arsenal should be thing who is a quality player to change Saka's role because so far, the existing players are not credible enough to replace that crucial position.

I agree what you are saying that Arsenal problem is not that they are not consistent but that another team is even more consistent. You are right that Arsenal got a lot of points in last two seasons 84 and 89 which is very good but not enough to win championship. This shows that Manchester City has set very high standard so other teams have to play extremely well to compete with them. Now.it looks like Liverpool is also trying to get a lot of points almost 90. This kind of strong competition is what makes Premier League so exciting.

Because this season only Liverpool did not have any problems with their players, if there were any absences it was only in few match and different from other team such as Manchester City and Arsenal who had to deal with problems related to player crises several times.
Even so, the Premier League remains one of the biggest and most popular league, competition like this with significant decline in team is natural thing to happen, and you are right at least in European competitions several team from the Premier League can still play well and can be said to be quite dominant for some time now.

That is the difference when several teams from England who are not good in the Premier League but can be better in other competitions such as the Europa League because there the opponents they meet are very different from the opponents here in the Premier League. This season Liverpool is indeed much stronger than other teams and also much luckier than all other teams so that Liverpool's level of consistency has not faded until now. Meanwhile, for Manchester City and Arsenal, they are only fighting to survive in the UCL zone this season because it is no longer possible to catch up with Liverpool at the top of the standings.

Sometimes some team from several domestic league that compete in Europe also perform less than optimally, yes we all know that it is very rare for team to be able to perform consistently in the long term for the domestic league and also competitions in Europe, one of them must have declined and so far only Manchester City and Real Madrid have been able to do it in one season at once for several championship title.

Which is Liverpool team and they are still consistent till now, because their head coach is doing what other head coach couldn't do to make the team consistent in winning in the premier League competition and other competition too. Arsenal has played well over some seasons now to maintain second position but to win the premier League title is the challenge they have now, because they are still maintaining second position over some matches now. I have watched many matches in this premier League competition, I think Liverpool is going to win this premier League title this season.

Liverpool team was very lucky to win with PSG, this match was really very good where PSG was more aggressive than Liverpool. Even though PSG attacked the most, they could not win, if we look at the overview of this match, we will definitely understand how aggressive the PSG team players were. Where PSG was much better in ball passing and target shots than Liverpool, they still lost by luck, basically Liverpool's luck was much better so they won by 1 goal. However, the way Liverpool played in this match, they will definitely try to improve their game more for the next match and correct the mistakes they have now. There is a possibility of more surprises in the next match, so the head coaches of both teams will improve their tactics.
