This unofficial cup means nothing. It's just a usual friendly game to be a data that will be evaluated by the manager of the team. Arsenal repeats their same mistake by keep using their kepa's strategy, which is not working anymore.

Anytime Kepa is playing, then they can easily conceded. So this is telling them if playing Kepa ain't good for their team.

I also see so many people get upset with how Arteta is still stubborn to give Kepa a chance to play. I'm wondering if he will be doing the same during the league game that will come next weeks.

Maybe just a friendly, as this is what everyone capitalize on .with the squad they used in this match I was actually expecting them to win even though it is friendly game, honestly I don't know what to say but if I'm arsenal fan I will get worried especially this particular one. Those who keep saying that it's just a friendly match how sure are you that thier performance will be different in their domestic league? Because as for most teams I don't think if there will be much different from what I'm seeing here in this pre-seaosn, I mean their performance is likely to remain the same even in thier domestic league. however,  Manchester city proved that they are superior wherever they are, and that's what other premier league teams should do.

I have that feeling that it will affect them when they start playing the league games and other competitions, this should have been something or a game to keep pushing them to win win win, now see how some fans would say it's a friendly when they lost to Betis and today is Dortmund which made me believe if care is not taken the Gunners might start poor this season.
As a league champion they should keep that fire burning so it will keep shaking the opposition teams, like if the league resumes you'd see how they'll find it hard to keep showcasing their strength with Arsenal but now see how weak they displayed against Dortmund that are not even good enough in Europe competition even in the Bundesliga, we have seen how weak they are but yet they won Arsenal, no fans should use pre season as an excuse.

Yesterday's friendly match between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid was exciting, in my opinion. We saw entertaining performances from both teams. Atletico Madrid scored first against Manchester City. Unfortunately, Manchester City didn't score in the first half, but in the second half, Manchester City managed to turn things around, scoring three goals through Marmoush and Nouri. In the second half, Manchester City played better, and I didn't expect Manchester City to score so many goals. Unfortunately, Atletico Madrid ultimately had to swallow a bitter pill by losing to Manchester City.

I watched the highlights of the match and I was happy with Arsenal's performance but there were problems with their attacking players. They showed weakness in finishing after entering the box with the ball from midfield. Dortmund are not that weak a team. They were not very good in possession but the players were disciplined and showed strength in finishing.

I don't think this match is just a friendly match it is an important warm-up match before the start of the upcoming season and Arsenal should have won this match. Arsenal's preparation may not have been good or Dortmund's team performed better than expected but the result of this match is a prediction for Arsenal that they need to do better.

Actually, some teams don't take their pre-season matches very seriously, or let me put it this way, they aren't fully prepared because players are on holiday, the squad isn't complete, and there are many reasons. I'd say Dortmund were more prepared in this match. Despite being a friendly, it was a good test for both teams. Dortmund took advantage of the mistakes in Arsenal's defense. I think it could be yes and it could be no. Because even though Arsenal lost to Dortmund in this match, it was only a narrow defeat. Furthermore,, Arsenal had more chances than Dortmund in this match, and that's clearly a good sign for Arsenal. So, it can be said that Arsenal actually has enormous potential to win this match. But perhaps because Dortmund's defense is quite solid,, Arsenal was ultimately unable to win this match. But overall, I think Arsenal played quite well in this match.

They should have won that match, after all, the trophy isn't named the "Emirates" for no reason. But with such an embarrassing result, Arsenal still seems to need to shore up their defense, which remains quite weak.
Especially with the season fast approaching. Arteta still has some work to do to improve his team to perform better than this, since the squad is made up of good players, and I know they can do better.
So, I don't think we need to make a big deal out of this loss, even though the result was so bad, it's still too early to conclude that we need to worry about Arsenal's situation for next season. Just see what they will do.

I agree with you and in their last two games they lost is like the Gunners doesn't have any better replacement for the strong hold of that defense, if Gabriel and Salina are unavailable it becomes a problem for the team, doesn't matter the team they face it will always end bad for the Gunners. Some players in that defense line are still lacking that confidence, like Mosquera he's still not confident enough to leave that defensive duty with him if the two big guys are not around. Why are you guys bothered about this, it's just nothing. You said they should get used to winning every every game, you and I know that's not possible for them to get used to winning every game. You win some, you lose some and you draw some that's how it always is. If this was a competitive game I sure I might not end like this, these are just friendlies, cut these players and teams some slack. That's how people were shouting when Barcelona free against Birmingham, I just laughed because we all know if that was a competitive match, Birmingham stood no chance against Barcelona. Allow the players and coach to have their fun while trying new formations and tactics.

Haven't you noticed how poor they played and if they don't take every game too serious especially now that the season is about to begin I don't think the winning mentality will stick, it was a friendly game but the football game have changed completely and if the seriousness is not put in play I see them struggling, I'm saying this because of the club we are talking about even if they did well last season it still doesn't matter, Arsenal have always shown us that they are comfortable with losing.
