i think havertz is going to be a huge asset for arsenal this season. my very fanatical friends are so excited for his return and love him so much that i can’t even describe it. if you ask me, he’s better than gyökeres. he scores goals much more easily while gyökeres can barely even find the net.

it’s important for them to win their season opener because they’re the favorites after last season. what i’m really curious about is which team will follow arsenal.

Havertz gave the opening goal today in the premier league opener match against Coventry who just joined premier league back. This is a big fixture for Arsenal to prove if they’re still the favourite for the premier league title. Arsenal are already three goals ahead of their opponent and we can confidently say that they’ve got their first win of the season. That is from your own point of view and not in reality,  of a truth arsenal did brilliantly well in all competitions last season and where even lucky enough to become the champions of England last season but expecting them to do same this season is a complete waste of time because the king of England Manchester United is back on there fit and will be ready to destroy any team that comes there way this coming season.
Their victory last season was only possible because Manchester City lost consistency at the beginning of the tournament if not i don't think it would have been easy for them to bag the premier league trophy the way they did

Man City fought well last season to win the premier league title but Gunners were too good toward the end of season to win the title. The defending champions can perform well in next season but we can no way in advance predict that defending champion will successfully defend its title. In almost every EPL, we have a new winner and that is because every team is determined to win the title. Premier league will start in few minutes from now and we will see Gunners in action shortly. 

That was wrong, last season was one of the toughest seasons for Manchester City especially when Rodri sustained injury and was gone for a long time, that alone gave arsenal the chance to step  above.  As at December last year, arsenal where topping the league with close to 10 points but lost it all between January to march and if not for luck they won't have won the league title because of Manchester City that picked momentum and gear up to ascertain an unbelievable consistency at the end part of the tournament. 
This same lost in consistency was among the reasons pep Guardiola decided to relieve his job at Manchester city, so arsenal should consider themselves lucky if not they won't have won any trophy

I still wonder why people feel that Pep Guardiola left Manchester city because of not being able to win the premier League trophy last season. This is actually far from it because he has not taken a new contract with any other team. So if this was actually his reason, I believe by now he should have gotten a new contract with another club considering his coaching experience. But he is actually taking a break this is his reason why he left Manchester city.
If we should compare last season with season before last I think, Manchester city performance was some how good when compared to season before last were there was so much inconsistencies in there performance.

It is indeed a brilliant startup game for the 2026/2027 Premier League season, featuring Arsenal vs Coventry City that is currently ongoing live, and secondly I'm not surprised seeing Arsenal's recent performance of dominating tonights game. Even if Arsenal was facing a different team today I would have still predicted them to win because for three to four premier League season they have not lost on their first match and their squad have still been very tight so there was no way this match was not going to be very credible for them. Coventry have met the finest team and all they have been performing is defending without having a time for themselves to pressure Arsenal, perhaps is going to be easy for them next match since they might overpower Hull City if they should do their best because is going to be an important match for them to start having points.

Arsenal's performance was simply amazing, they completely destroyed Coventry City, they were not given any chance, Arsenal were also great in attack and also resisted Coventry City's counterattacks from midfield. Overall, their first match was very great and very easy, Arsenal won the match without any difficulty by a great 3-0 goal difference. They secured 3 points from their first match, I expected that they would be able to defeat Coventry City very easily and that is what happened. Coventry City could not even put up a strong competitive performance, Coventry City was very weak in front of Arsenal, and Arsenal won the match very easily.

Even before now alll believed arsenal most win because that willl be one of there easiest premier league game this season, what they got is exactly what we expected from them. I don't think Havertz is the better striker than Gyökeres. Havertz just fits the Arsenal team and the way Arteta plays better. I believe Gyokeres is not used to his full potential in the Arsenal team. He needs to play in a team where he can spend most of his time in the box or as the point man, instead of falling deep into the midfield. Gyokeres also scores goals. I think he was the highest goal scorer for Arsenal last season and it was his first season.

Arsenal winning the newly promoted club Coventry 3:0 wasn't a surprising result to me, i have Arsenal on my betting slip to win because i found there odd managable. Most Arsenal fans are already bragging of winning the title again because they won Coventry, the league hasn't even started, the road to the trophy is still vary far. If they can be able to win thses two club you listed it means they are going to be a title contender, they might either win it again or not because the premier league is not like the Bundesliga or the Ligue 1 where people already know who will win the title even when the league hasn't started.

Arsenal won against a team that came from the Championship but we should know that there are some seasons that Arsenal finds it difficult to win a promoted team especially when they met in the first match of the season. Do you mean that Arsenal will find it difficult to win Aston Villa and Chelsea? Time will tell, but I expect this season to be a little tougher than the last one. Every other team in the league will put in an extra effort whenever they are playing the defending champions. Like a certain old saying goes, "Going to the top is easy; it's staying at the top that becomes very hard."

I hope Arteta and the team did have enough reinforcements because they will need them. 5 games into the new season will give us a rough clue of how things will be.
