Roberto De Zerbi have a lot to correct in this Spurs team because they don't look like a fighting team, like they are still living in last season's struggle.

I really wanted Rashford to do something special in UTD game so I can come here and tell you to give him a chance that he could do better now that he has been accepted to play with the main team but you guys (Manchester United) failed to impress the fans just as Spurs did.

As a Chelsea fan, can't lie, I really enjoyed watching that match and the fact that they just got promoted to the league adds that level of salts I just need. Well, to be honest I didn't expect Man U to lose but the set pieces by Hull were just brilliant and it got the job done, I at least expected a draw or something, especially after the first half but like they say, football never lies.

This is truly why everyone or let me say every football fans wanted the club football back because it’s actually the best competitions for real banter and this is the kind of games that gives banter opportunities for oppositions. Manchester United might actually go well from here, but losing against a team as Hull city is definitely a huge letdown for them. The game was actually not a bad one from Manchester United but the hull city team had a plan and they came and executed it perfectly.

The manager had the idea of massively defending against Manchester United but really on set pieces to actually hurt Manchester United when they get the chance. Usually in this Kind of game it’s rare to see those kind of set pieces for a club like Hull city bit they were on the right ledger of good luck today and they got two of that, and how perfectly they executed that. They truly deserve to take a point from the game and United need to massively improve

It’s actually crazy today in the premier league games, I see a lot of games that happen far below expectations and this game between Tottenham against Brentford was among them.

Tottenham spent a lot of money in the transfer market this summer, they signed good players but I can see how they were disgraced in their premier league opening match despite all the signings. Three goals to nil is a shocking result I never expected, and it is supposed to 4 goals if Igor Thiago had converted the penalty they got. This is not a good start for De Zerbi, but I know he can improve because he have the players, he needs to put them in place to help the team grow again because they are expecting a lot after signing these players.

Furthermore, I can also see that Manchester United lost their opening match against a newly promoted Hull City; it is also shocking. I hope Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool can give us an interesting performance in their opening matches as well.

However, that meant nothing to Tottenham after being thrashed three goals to nil by Brentford, and it seems Tottenham still haven't made any significant improvements this season, although they still have plenty of time to improve in the next match.

Well maybe Carrick got something wrong, hopefully he fixes it before next match so they can secure all 3 points. The online bashing was something else that I started feeling sad for the fans of the club.

The way Spurs lost to the Brentford makes me feel they will end the same like they did last season. They're obviously gonna compete for the relegation zone. However, it's very sad bookies still overpriced them just because they signed players worth more than 300m who can do nothing.
The tactic they play today reminds me with Frank ball. Poor passing, bad positioning, so many impotent players and truly disorganised.

They still had romero last season that helped them in defending. This time they have Van Hecke which is clearly a downgrade. They won't survive EPL this season even after they splashed so much money.

Discussions of Marcus again?! Good God! My previous comments had nothing to do with Marcus Rashford, why and how have you decided to bring him into this conversation? lmfao! I have decided to quit lashing out whenever I see anything about him, I will just train my brain to ignore whenever I see such comments or post anywhere. His body language is enough to tell you he has no such plans to play for the red devils. Some say he is the best option for us at the moment, but he doesn't move like he wants to be better than the best wingers and play makers in the world.

Romero also wanted to leave Tottenham Hotspur badly, I don't think I know why, but he committed too many unnecessary errors and got too many bookings as a result of his aggressions and lack of awareness. I think your bookies for teams who are going to get relegated makes so much sense, I’m very impressed with your choice of team selections, teams that are to be relegated, I think I’m going to go with your prediction.

But I would always have doubts if you include a team as Tottenham to get relegated, I don’t see how possible it would be for Tottenham to get relegated, after spending so much money in the transfer window to buy players, if someone is possibly telling me that Tottenham are going to get relegated I must say I would doubt that, because it’s absolutely impossible.

It’s just the first game, I know Tottenham Hotspurs are a badly managed team, let’s see if the De Zerbi is going to take them out of the bad position, they struggled to survive last season, and they are again going to start struggling from the relegation zone.

I don’t think their defense is the problem here, they have good defense, last season Romero was there when they were having a woeful performances, new signings would have to adapt to the team.

I felt he was wrong though cause I mean, we saw what they did to big teams, right? But then again, I'm not just going to jump into conclusions with just this one game, let's see till mid-year next year.

Up till now I haven't figured it out how Manchester United who are suppose to dominate this game against newly promoted club like Hull City fell off the line, what a terrible display and this is how they started with a wonderful performance in their friendly games and when it was time to show what they have been doing things went wrong for them. I just hope that the fans won't look for another excuse of saying if Carrick was the head coach from the beginning he would have won something, please Red Devils fans the time is now and losing without scoring a goal was disappointing for me, they should have won this game.

What do expect from a club who hasn't strengthen their team for past years. They only bring in average players with crazy amount of money. Look the back 4 today , we still have Like Shaw playing for Manchester United in 2026, Harry Maguire, Heaven and Mazaroui. These players won't even survive one season in Arsenal, Liverpool, Madrid etc. look how poor Manchester United board moved in this transfer win, first they spent over €50m for Santos who is a bench warmer in Chelsea, then bought Tielemans who is beyond his prime. How will this kind club even compete against big European team in the UCL and also for the premier league title. Now Manchester United fans will be asking themselves what went wrong, When Manchester United is ready to return back to it old glory. These average and old players will be sold. For me , I expect Michael Carrick to be sacked by December. Manchester United players are not performing well.

Manchester United was among the best as of last season starting from how they started and finally finishing in the top 4 last season, they beat the best of Liverpool, Chelsea and some other clubs that was above them when they was struggling to even secure 6pt in two games, they next knew their left from their right and finally Carrick elevated them till they finished at a position that you and I never expected even at some point I was worried that they might even win the EPL title because they were having a good game every week and you say they need to strengthen themselves, no way. This club is ready, they showed the fans that they was ready for any team but that performance was like they went back to how they were struggling at 16th to 17th position last season.  That you said I agree, they call all they did at the transfer market rebuilding or regrouping or whatever they call it, they wanted the club to seeck new faces and that is what they have now, is like they don't want to let go off some old faces, Luck Shaw was ok for me but as for Maguire I don't know the community rights he have that he is always there when he is not suppose to be. As long as they refused to sell some of the old guys and bringing in better replacement this complaining will continue to grow and again, why was Carrick even playing 2  left wingers in that game against Hull City? And don't get me wrong but this was the first game of the season and he wants to win then why Dorgu, even if he did well in their friendly games, must he start him, why not Rashford instead?

De zerbi have really got a lot to do, that 3-0 defeat is a serious warning sign for spurs that spending money and buying new players is one thing, but they still need to show some energy and determination on the pitch. Because it looks like they came back with some of their problems from last season and I would not judge the new signings after one match, but the team reaction is what worries me more. If spurs can improve their confidence and play with unity things can still change, but they need to do that fast.

In essence, Tottenham currently doesn't seem very serious about making their team even better. Since Son's departure, Tottenham haven't looked for a replacement who could essentially fill the void left by Son. So, this is a clear indication that they are not serious about building their team. Furthermore, losing to Brenford by a landslide is clearly a very embarrassing thing. Because basically, Brenford is not a favored team, but amazingly, they were able to beat Tottenham by three goals to nil.

So, this is clearly a very good thing for Brenford. But for Tottenham, it is clearly a very bad thing, because with their current performance, they clearly won't be able to compete for a top-five position in the Premier League. Because basically, they lost to Brenford alone. Furthermore,, while it's true that Tottenham still have plenty of time, that doesn't guarantee a good performance. As I said above, Tottenham currently don't seem serious about building their team. Therefore, I don't know what Tottenham's performance will be like this season. But one thing is for sure,, it will be difficult to improve.

It’s too early to have regrets. Instead we can point out the problems in the team and if it doesn’t change in 3 games. Then regrets and calls out can happen. The game against hull city are down to different factors

1. Coaching problem, insisting on play Dorgu at lw ahead of Cunha, and Cunha at cf ahead of mbeumo. Maz over dalot ? Terrible coaching decision especially since what happened against Milan in the pre season

2. Fitness problem, 80% of the squad lack physical fitness and match fitness, I sincerely wonder what they did during Preseason training. Did everything fall apart because of Mount injury ?? I do think the squad will bounce back, but the earlier the better

That defeat was really shameful, a club that just came to premier league defeated a team like Manchester united at their first game of the season but Hull city been relegated without winning a single game can not be possible because their are teams they are better than in the premier league as it stands now. If the season could have ended with a good expected result, then maybe Carrick would not have been so criticized. Since this Manchester United supporter predicted a lot about the tactics the coach would play, and that is the performance we saw at the beginning of the season, there is a lot of disappointment in the team. However, this coach played very well last season, which brought the team to a good level. Although he could not play with good tactics at the beginning of the season, as a result of which they had to accept defeat against a normal team. However, I believe that the team will definitely improve their weak points and they will come back in the next match and collect their important points. Manchester United is a strong team, but they have some mistakes, if they enter the field and correct those mistakes, they will definitely be able to move forward through the performance of the players and the great strategy of the coach.

First game of the season for the mighty LFC. New era under Iraola begins and it’s a really tough one away at Newcastle, it’s a really difficult stadium to get a win normally but their fans are going to be fuming about the way Isak joined us and he should start today.

I’m not that confident of a win, we haven’t done anywhere near enough in the transfer market. There is still time of course but we are lacking quality and depth in several areas.

Newcastle have lost Tonali, Gordon and Guimarães though so they are having issues too. Really hope we take all 3 points today.
