In my opinion, gold and bitcoin are good investments and should diversify with real estate and stocks would be better.
Bitcoin has the advantage over gold that it is easy to store and liquidate quickly through your electronic device.

Precious metals should contain
- 50% in gold
- 35% in silver
- 15% in copper

Man, when you have a lot of money you cant put it in silver. How much silver is $10 million?  How you will drive that home? And where you will store it?   Precious metals are Gold, Gold and Gold.

that depends on your strategy and your risk taking ability plus your investment amount. You should always diversify your investment for safety rather than putting it all in one and leaving others. Gold has its own benefits as a tangible asset and if there is a technology disruption you can always count on it. Bitcoin on the other hand can bring you better return with risk.

 It is better to have both Bitcoin and gold. Bitcoin has it's own advantages and so do with gold. When it comes to long term investment gold has proven to be stabled, but Bitcoin is completely digital, it can easily be transferred to another user and sold for any Fiat value.

Bitcoin and gold have their own advantage and opportunity
For gold thats no doubt about it, gold already be the currency or tools to trade from thousand years ago, from the stability we all know that gold price can survive event when the worst era, but its take time to get our target price
For bitcoin its something new to our life, and bitcoin can change our life from traditional how we trade money until bitcoin come
The price move fast from going to the moon until get back to earth and thats can make lot of money from there
For now i will choose bitcoin

You can surely invest on bitcoin. I think, investment on Bitcoin  is more profitable than on gold. Gold price may suddenly  increase or decrease highly in different situation where you may loss your fund. But bitcoin price is increasing day by day. Here you have larger opportunity to make profit.  If its price decreases, it again increases very soon. At present crypto world is increasing more and more where bitcoin is the king. It is the best sector for investment now.

Since bitcoin managed to experience a sharp rally in 2017, many investors or traders have mentioned that bitcoin has properties like gold, so that the largest crypto (BTC) which has the largest market capitalization value today is often referred to as the digital version of gold. And of course, like the OP said, if now many people often compare gold with bitcoin and analyze which assets can be to big benefit for investors or trader, but for me personally, either Gold or Bitcoin are both very profitable because gold has several advantages in an investment compared to with Bitcoin and Bitcoin which also has advantages in investing than gold.

You're commenting on his silver but this guy is recommending to keep 15% in copper.

Say I have $100 thousand to invest so 15 thousand to put in copper? That's like 2.5 ton.
Maybe he doesn't want physical copper but IMO only physical metals are worth the hustle. If you want metals on paper you can as well hold cash.

To be honest, I personally would really choose Bitcoin as an investment asset regardless of the risk as an investment asset that has a negative volatilitas, why did I choose bitcoin, the reason is that bitcoin is an investment asset whose price is fluactive so that if there is an increase in price it can provide profits of even almost 50% or more of the capital we spend, but the risk of loss can also occur in every investment, be it crypto or gold, and in other words, to get big profits, of course, you must be ready to face big risks

Bitcoin is decentralized and is based on advanced technology while gold is old, most is held by big countries and used for politics.
So i see no competition or comparison at all.

Will do both, as long gold that i bought really easy to sell back. I mean, not about solid gold bar, maybe like jewelry that the shop guarantee they can follow how much gold price. Maybe i can get profit from it, by the way there are some jewelry shop in my town who did that.  And the others i will pick bitcoin or maybe Ethereum.

I voted Bitcoin. If you need quick profit then you invest in bitcoin. Gold increase or decrease slowly. Bitcoin increase and decrease fastly. so you can get profit at a short time. But here have risk. As an investors you must take risk. Without risk you can't earn anywhere.

50/50 will be my opinion in the time of hard financial crisis but at the remaining times I will prefer to invest of bitcoin more than gold because it is highly stable so we are not going to make anything by holding our funds there.

If you really are into diversifying your portfolio you can invest in both assets, but If I were to chose one I prefer Btc. We have all witnessed how Bitcoin price grows over a decade, for me its still very early to get involve because it has a lot of potential and I believe in its technology thats the really key to  its value.

Only Bitcoin, I understand that bitcoin has high volatility, and I am sure that BTC can fall significantly lower, but on gold you will make 100% profit for a very long time, and bitcoin can do it easily.

It depends but if i on your situation then i would allocate 70% for Gold then 30% on Crypto. Im not really that too negative on cryptocurrency potential but nothing really beats out when it comes to
security of your money or investment when it comes to Gold side. Cryptocurrency would be good to treat as an alternative but we know that volatility and unpredictability of the market which makes me
hesitate to go full or all in unlike gold where its volatility wont really be that worst compared to crypto thats why i do decide to allocate much bigger than on crypto investment.
This is my own view though since there are people whom do really trust up crypto when it comes to investment matters.

This depends on just 2 factors. which are easy. what do you want to do with the money as an investor. If you want to invest on the long term, you can buy bitcoin and hodl invarably because it is bullish on the long term. But if you want your money to remain the same with little additions, Gold investment is the best, it retains the value of your money, and gives you only profit and not losses.

It depends but for a long time investment I will definitely go with gold because it is much more stable than Bitcoin.No investment can guarantee a profit or loss it is only time that tells that.The value of gold in the market hardly fells low unlike bitcoin in which their is no such certainty.Secondly gold prices quickly goes back to normal after fall unlike bitcoin which takes a lot of time to recover from huge fall so with long time investment I will definitely go with gold.

The endless loop we have been once in a lifetime, there is no concrete answer to this question. It is all subjective and the correlation between financial assets is normal in the financial world. BTC can be an alternative digital version of Gold. From this perspective, I prefer to invest in modern assets rather than believing the low supply theory. In fact, both assets have low circulation and limited total supply but the road of BTC will take longer, IMHO.

Gold and Bitcoin are both good investments with their respective advantages and disadvantages, but you should know that now there is digital gold, in the sense that some Altcoins are always the same price as real gold.

When investing in Bitcoin does not mean we cannot invest in Gold, or vice versa. better to manage our money to invest in both, it will be safer and more profitable.
