looks like they're back, but i just tried to withdraw the 46 kg i had on their exchange to find out that there are now seriously low daily/monthly withdrawal limits for unverified users:  $25 per day or $100 per month!    If you give them some of your info, they will bump the limits up to $2000 per day or $10000 per month.

make of that what you will

It's really painless to get that $2,000 limit though, just name and address if I remember correctly, same as Poloniex. They don't ask for copies of documents to prove the information is valid, so you could even make something up if you are Edward Snowden or something, but then you risk losing any funds you have there if they ever suddenly increase their requirements or single you out for some reason.

I provided my real info and my limits were raised instantly. However I no longer store any funds there and have not tried to withdraw bitcoin in months due to the numerous reports of issues withdrawing bitcoin. I just deposit bitcoin, buy UNO then withdraw the UNO.

This would be a great reason for the in-house trusted trader system to exist:
Some people might not want to get verified on Cryptsy, but still want their buy orders to help deplete the megawallet.  someone like you, Nat, who is already verified could buy chunks off cryptsy and sell them in house for a modest premium.

Cryptsy has been offline for nearly 3 hours at this point, and @BigVern tweeted a claim they were being Denial of Service attacked, yet all day long and for months now the allegations are rising against them. I really do believe they've been nabbed or hacked, and operating as a fractional reserve exchange. I really hope you guys had all your UNO out of there. Everyone had really, really, fair warning with this exchange.

@Kryptodog, that's a really great reason to have a trusted trader's UNO p2p exchange here.

Yes they are back up. All you have to do is pop open the chat and every person chatting is only asking "When is my withdrawal going to process? I've been waiting 3,4,5,6,7,8 days, etc"
Also, they are censoring now. Supposedly if you "start FUD" about Cryptsy, they are going to disable the chat. Well, the writing has been on the wall since.. August? The fly is in the ointment, the eagle has flown the nest. Even when they're stable and up and running they are not processing everyone's withdrawals half the time. They have some reason for this they are not telling people.

I am not a Cryptsy hater, either. In fact, I stood by the exchange from very early on, but I've been lied to directly by Paul Vernon himself, and they are always very vague with problems, never telling users what's actually wrong. I've never had withdrawal issues, and that is because AS SOON as they restructured fees and didn't say anything at all about it, I removed everything I had and I have not traded on there once since that change in late August/early September.

http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/11/25/cryptsy-kraken-targeted-extreme-ddos-attacks/

This is what Jshock is posting in the chat. I don't care if it's regulatory scrutiny or hacks, one of them is ruining the exchange. Both of them mean I'm done using the exchange.

Jshock has banned me from chatting for asking questions and speaking the truth in the chatbox.

UNO hashrate is at 1.8 Petahash! woot!

Cryptsy's withdrawal issues are not being caused BY the Denial of Service attack, but rather, they are being Denial of Service attacked FOR their ongoing withdrawal issues.

Interesting post, Rddrocket.

Good to see the Uno hashrate pushing 2 phs again.  mmpool.org is up to nearly 400 ths. They had been lagging around the 100 ths mark for awhile.  Wherever it's coming from,  I hope it continues.

What do you mean by failed mascot? I was hoping to see a poorly drawn cartoon character or something  Cheesy

I've known djhomeschool for about 18 months now, he's a good guy. The site looks rather crude now but it just started, if he gets some business I expect that his little market will evolve nicely over time. He works IT & has a good eye for business decisions and treating customers properly.

6 days until the halving, only 46 more coins will be generated before we enter a new era of ultra-low inflation.

See the blog for the failed mascot. I actually got real drawings within the last 12 hours or so of the real one, and I'm quite happy with it.

Site may stay quite crude for a while since I can't design for... realz.

Yeah that's all that I meant.
http://cryptomercado.com/blogs/news/80068548-so-this-is-it

The comical logo on the site. I'd suggest stuff other than coffee on the site, but I honestly don't know how to go about suggestions. It would take capital and orders to start carrying new merchandise.

Excited about the upcoming halving.

Is it UNO officially a ghosts town or not yet or never will be?

Do you guys think that Uno is heavy-duty and going to survive anything? Un it's ok on it's own? No more forks ever. no tech support ever. It's simple thing that can last forever the way just is. No much attention needed.

Do you think Un will be here after 15 years? Yes I think.

IMZ Group - You are wrong! May not be the currency because the small quantities only 250K,but is create for something else! Will be Vault coin ,because this is the purpose for which it is most likely created! And that is not branding it's specification on this token!

1. Never will be a ghostown. Uno is now in it's 3rd year, still with many fans, and new fans every month.  Uno is worthwhile on its own, without fad features.

2. Uno is heavy duty and has already survived a lot.  "No more forks ever" isn't reasonable to say.  There may be threats or opportunities in the future that the Uno community will want to address.

3. After 15 years? Certainly, it will be here, still paying miners for moving the rockchain.

On another note.
I just streamed The Rise & Rise of Bitcoin last night. A really cool look back. It was only just a couple of years looking back, but it seemed like decades.

wow, great news on the new pools.  One of the best things about these, is that if enough people are choosing to be paid in Un for their mining efforts, it adds a nice level of consistent buy support on the markets.  If you are an Unobtanium enthusiast who is currently mining, I'd reckon this is one of the best things you could do for the ecosystem.
Exactly. You don't need a lot of sha256 hash.
Prohashing takes scrypt.

Zpool.ca takes sha256, scrypt, lyra2, and x11.

we've added quark and qubit and planning to add more algos/coins as well.

Cheers!

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Transferred 27.5 from the Cryptsy wallet.  They charged me 0.1376 UN.

Hello Uno crew!

A few months back I started the process of getting a crypto-only store ( accepting UNO of course ) set-up and we are rolling out our first UNO t-shirt item and will be building it out. Of course with BlackFriday yesterday we finally got our first few sales for Bitcoin! But, I have faith UNO is also a good coin to have as a payment for the community.

Also, if you want to create some more UNO designs we can pay a royalty to you per sale!  Just submit your design here . As for the current items we continuing our BlackFriday Sale of $5 off using bitcoinblackfriday at check out!  We'll continue it to CyberMonday.

Bittrex definitely needs buy orders, I wouldn't say that it needs sell orders so much. I'm still building my way back at the poker tables otherwise I would toss 1 BTC on the bittrex buy side.

Cryptoid has a new feature. I was concerned that many of our nodes may originate from a small number of sources (such as a hosting service or an individual using multiple VPN's), however the "Hosting Companies" feature implies that it's possible every node is hosted by a unique individual!

To me this implies strength. We really do have supporters in Thailand, Slovakia, Brazil, etc.
