Sad to watch what's going down at Cryptsy. The chat room today reminded me of Coin-ex. Glad to see the Uno wallet draining. Need a wallet, try Electrum for Uno, https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum/ Or run a full client on the network, get a wallet at http://unobtanium.unoI still hold hope that Cryptsy will come through, but it is not looking good is it?

Lunacy! Bitcoin surging back to $470. Buy orders for 150 UNO on Cryptsy at 0.005. The UNO/XRP market is 21% higher than the UNO/BTC market and about 50% higher than the Bittrex market. The premiums on Cryptsy are pushing us up on Coinmarketcap, $475,000 market cap, above Feathercoin & Diamond now. A mod in the Bitebi9 chat says they are not owned by Cryptsy. I still don't know what it is exactly or how they made a Cryptsy clone, but I sent a request to Coinmarketcap to add their CNY market to the UNO stats.

Awesome, awesome stuff guys! I'm so very excited to see the slight passing of $2 range with slow, low volume, natural purchases.
You DO NOT see other coins going up 15-20% along with BTC with $100-300 volume! We got this!
The Cryptsy hot wallet draining continues, and is very pleasing to see. January-February is very exciting, I think we'll be back over .01 BTC and push back over $10 a kilo.
I can honestly appreciate Gekko's last post. I appreciate honesty, and it is truth.
I'm in Cat if anyone is still up and online.

Anyone have a theory as to why someone would place a buy order there? Why not just buy at 0.005? I guess it saves 0.18%, but you'd think if they were worried about that they'd place it at 0.0046.

I admit that I'm outta practice and generally, outta the loop, for the past 4* months with my new job and the commute and all... but, is it me or is MZC's blockchain explorer difficult ? https://mazacha.in/blocksBrace yourselves, but I just withdrew 200,000 big MZC** from Cryptsy. (the MZC wallet was in "maintenance" the past two Fridays) Cheers, Z P.S. That Lunacy blurb above Jon Stewart reminds me of a Max Keiser rant (Ref. http://tinyurl.com/ponqqpg). P.P.S. To think, that you could have today's yield for about $6. Bah Humbug P.P.P.S Where is Max Coin today? Oh, 97. As seen here: http://coinmarketcap.com/ (@ 1:12 AM 12/12/15 disclaimer) * feels like 12 ** A retail value of $9.95 85

Watch out for the honeypot trap. If you can sell your Uno for .005/.006, but then can't withdraw your Btc, you are caught the trap. Back in the day, I sent 1 btc over to Coin-ex to arb cheap UNO. I thought I was a brilliant observer to find this incredible deal. Weeks later it was a total miracle that I was able to escape with my bitcoin. I must have instituted a withdrawal at the exact second some other sucker's bitcoin deposited. But for some reason, it shook free. Lesson learned. If prices are way out of whack, there is a reason. Price reflects risk. For now it seems that the Uno wallet is working fine, even as Cryptsy's bitcoin wallet has issues. I really hope they patch this back up and repair the damaged good will. Until then... Just sayin'. Be careful.

Uno rich list at this moment. #1 is Cryptsy cold storage, now below 10%.

It could be that people are just too new and haven't seen exchanges just poof. Tis the fun of the gamble. Volatility. Everything in life is volatile, life is volatile. Trust is volatile. Bittrex will be the next to fall. We have cex or whatever that original Uno exchange was, and i think there was gox before that. Memory is a lil hazy There was a teeny little 'exchange' that just poofed, i can't remember the name at all, it wasn't large but still a wtf moment for people who were using it(i made it out the night before it was "hacked"), around the time of that first uno exchange disappearing. Mintpal went under, cryptsy is next and bitrexx will follow and poloniex should eventually crash out too. It is the nature of scoundrels. They always go out in the same fashion. What me thinks happens is they are like the banks, the are only holding a fraction of the coins you deposit to the site and are gambling with your money. Too many people go to cash out and WHOOPS, we are being ddos and such and then oh no, we lost all the coins! Some how there was a hole in our pocket and they must have slipped out. Only logical explanation !

Crypto exchanges haven't been around long enough to say that they all collapse, some may persist and continue on for decades. There are no signs of Bittrex or Poloniex having issues. Even BTER is persisting through two major hacks. That said, it's definitely a volatile sector that attracts a higher than usual number of unreliable business people. Also: WOWWWW. $2,700 volume as UNO surges to 0.0062 on Cryptsy. Still at 0.004 on Bittrex, amazing. Big UNO discussion in Cryptsy chat at the moment. Sentiment sounds very strong, maybe because everyone there holds UNO now from using it to escape

1. Tis the fun of the gamble. Volatility. 2. think BTER not mtGox
What ever cryptsy is into or upto they might just cling on and manage some sort of recovery. Something along the lines of BTC/LTC goes in and only ALTs can checkout. They've already structured the withdraw fees to insure long term deposits coupled with free trading.
3. risky business

Have you chosen an alt to move back out with or are you going to ride it out? It seems like most of the alts that can be withdrawn have a high premium, it might be lower than the UNO premium for some though, in which case you probably made 5%-20%, not 43%. but even 5% profit on an arbitrage trade is great, like instant free money. The UNO/XRP price is absurdly high, way above even the UNO/BTC price on Cryptsy. However XRP is 25% cheaper on Cryptsy, it must be that XRP cannot be withdrawn either.
