All of the teams expecting to make an impact at the top of the table dropped points. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Aston Villa all drew their games and Chelsea lost again.

Here is an interesting story.
FA Cup matches were played today, where the winner of the 2024/25 trophy is Crystal Palace. Today, they lost and were relegated to Macclesfield FC, who are 117 places below them. It is considered one of the biggest surprises in the history of this competition.

On top of all that, there is a very gentlemanly move by the Crystal Palace club, who gave up the profit from the tickets sold, as the visiting team has the right to 45% of the profit. This brought Macclesfield an extra £400,000. In CP, they estimated that this money is not as important to them as it would be to help this small club.

The FA Cup holders being knocked out in the third round is a very unusual event in itself but to have the current holders (or any league team) to be knocked out by a non-league team does not happen often. It is a minnow versus a giant yet sometimes upsets can happen just as with Macclesfield against Crystal Palace.

I have no idea what they were requesting, whether a percentage of the gate or a one-off donation but either way Manchester City decided to avoid it. As their FA Cup dream is over, Exeter City go back to being a mediocre team in League One that might get relegated whereas Manchester City can continue dreaming about winning the domestic double or even the Champions League.

Newcastle United and Brentford have been getting results recently. As unlikely as it might be, it would be a great display of the Premier League if Brentford made it to a Champions League place at the end of the season. Just curious what you guys think on the BTTS and over 2.5 goals combo for Chelsea vs Brentford and Brighton vs Bournemouth..?  The Chelsea vs Brentford one is at 1.97 but the other one doesn't have their lines up yet.

And I have a feeling that the Manchester derby is gonna end in a draw...  The line for it is at 4.10.    Juicy...

Whatever they're building at Brentford is working but they don't have money to sustain it and to push for European football - they sold few of their best players last season and got some good cheap replacements and they're back kicking more than last season. It's about profits for the owners so I won't be surprised if they sell Thiago and some of their best players again in the summer.

We were more than 10 points above Brentford and Newcastle at some point this season, now look at our position. Do we still stand a chance of winning the league manager Jolly?

The two BTTS & O pick is a nice combo - BTTS & O2.5 in the Brighton -Bournemounth game is 1.76

I don't see how Manchester united pick up a draw in that one, it should be an easy one for Manchester city against a struggling United without a good manager - not forgetting Semenyo who joined the attack.

Could it be the game that Manchester United finally start winning consecutive games? If they find a way to beat Manchester City they will most probably try to use that opportunity to start a winning run. Having said that, I expect Manchester City to win because the current Manchester United team is simply not good enough.

Yeah you could say that.  But then again the match is gonna be in Old Trafford, the 'theatre of dreams'.  The match could end up with Man United being down 0 - 3 and gets it all back and make it 3 - 3 by FT. 

Dunno tho...  I made a small bet on the draw.  So will be rooting for that happening for fun.  Lol.  But we'll see.  It could just end up with how I imagined it.

The "Theater of dreams" fear for other teams left with SAF - it's nothing more than a neutral ground nowadays. I heard they're bringing back Garrick - he was the only unbeaten manager, he was prefect for the job but the club owners wanted a shiny toy with some first team management experience.

If Manchester city leads them 3-0 no way this shitty club are pulling back   - only happens on FIFA game.

At the start of the season, I genuinely believed they had a chance to win the Premier League but as the games were played Chelsea just began to go through a series of results. On current form, they do not deserve to be in a Champions League spot. It will be a surprise if they finish the season inside 7th place.
