We lost again after scoring first, the officiating was bad as usual but it's stupid to keep making excuses and blaming the ref since 2021- how long are we going to keep seeing Arteta dunk on our managers- new season same problem

For the first time in many years I had faith in this team against Arsenal because I thought Alonso  was different but he wasn't.

See, it was your fault for thinking that way. I don't expect you to begin criticism at this point--- he has already proven to be suited for the job, so losing against Arsenal doesn't change that fact. Arteta will keep dunking until your players decide to do something different. Did you notice how the whole Arsenal team closed down every space after the first goal in about 90 seconds?? That's something I haven't seen in your club.

The ref was decent, he didn't have many big decisions/calls to make, it was just like any other game. And in no world would Gabriel get a red card for that challenge on Martinez, yes he struck him, but it was a legitimate attempt to play the ball, neither was the force deemed to be dangerous.

There's no "legitimacy" in the rules if your action threatens another player's life - 99% of red card offences were legitimate actions performed by players but went the wrong way .... Martinez was lucky to still have his eyes intact..

Is this about the goalmouth scramble yesterday? Botz clearly didn't watch the game because it was replayed, in different angles over 7 times or so, just to see what Gabriel's target was. He obviously went for the ball and, since the decision to "kick" had already been made, he had no choice but to swing--- pretty much late timing but it wasn't done on purpose. You'd make a very bad coach with this approach imo Botz.

Looks like the genius Moyse struck again.  And the victim is again...  Man United.  Lolol.  Carrick will probably get him in the reverse fixture.  That's if he's still around. 

Anyway it was a bad week for me.  Now did you guys do?  In hindsight I should've taken the BTTS and above 2.5 goals combo in the Arsenal vs Chelsea match.

My advice to y'all non Chelsea fan still is, don't over think our fixtures just pick BTS and you're 90% safe - we always score and at the same time always let our opponents have the same scoring feelings..

No manager has been able to fix our defense since Tuchel left and we've had a couple of them. It's difficult to win games and be competitive with leaky defense.

Ok then...  Looks like we have an edge to take advantage of.  That's if the bookies keep giving us a good number for it. 

Anyway what are your early leans for the matches this weekend?  I'm already looking into the double chance for Nottingham Forest against Aston Villa and same bet for Everton against Tottenham.    I'm fading these two til they show some improvement on the pitch.

After leading the game and only to concede in the final minutes will hurt Carrick but he was a player at the club for many years therefore knows he cannot afford too many mistakes.

As for Moyes, maybe he steps up against Manchester United because he was sacked after just 10 months from taking over after Ferguson retired. That might be his driving force, to ensure Everton do not lose against Manchester United while he is manager

Considering the current form of Aston Villa and Tottenham, it looks like a safe bet, though in gambling, there is hardly any "safe" bet, lol. How many odds are you looking to get on this parlay? I reckon it would be small, and you may need to add more games or set a high wager. That said, i do not have my sights on any games yet in the weekend, i am more concerned about the mid-week champions league games, and there are a lot of options to pick from.

Not a bad bets if we base everything on current form but I'm leaning towards a BTS in both games ( Aston Villa final scored a goal today and that could be the turning point for them ) so it's giving a strong BTS in that one.

Everton can't stop scoring so I'm literally taking a risk on Totteham to score a goal this weekend to hit a BTS on that too..

Manchester United vs City is another BTS to look out for this weekend - that's my 3 BTS combo for the weekend.

There are some big games taking place this weekend. I think we all would agree that the Manchester derby is the biggest but Tottenham could lose another home match (this time against Everton) and it could further damage confidence in De Zerbi.

As for Liverpool, they have the players to comprehensively beat Fulham especially since Isak has shown a massive improvement in form. If they win by three or four goals, it will send a strong signal to the rest of the Premier League.

I really don't know what De Zerbi is doing, neither do I have an excuse for Tottenham but I think we are prepared for the best or worse. They are even lucky to have a type of striker that most teams are begging for. What did Omar Marmoush not do in City?!

I hope you know beating a Spanish side is a lot easier than beating Newcastle United or any top PL teams ? That being said, Liverpool have been extremely unlucky and they're still unbeaten this season which is what really matters.

Liverpool have a new manager, he needs a little time to get the players to adjust to the way he wants them to play. In the Premier League they drew their first two games of the season and won the third. They have now just won their European match too. I am sure you can see something positive

Their form has improved since the season started and they are scoring goals. Liverpool fans are probably very happy because they seem to be genuine contenders for a top four finish.

It's not even the same competition Botz, relax. Nobody is arguing that the Spanish League is tougher than the EPL. My point is, Liverpool don't seem to care about the EPL as much as they do the UCL. Are you in their minds to know their plan?? For some coaches, reserving his squad for bigger games could be a strategy. I will remind you of this if they draw or lose against Fulham in their next match.

BTTS isn't an option for me now as I've started making my bets via Hyperliquid's outcome markets.  Their order books have little liquidity but it's enough for me since I usually drop just 25 - 50 bucks per bet.  So no biggy...  I also placed an order in for Crystal Palace to win at 1.95.

But yeah, as of this moment only my 'Aston Villa - No' bet got filled at 1.77...  What I like about these outcome markets is I look at the sharpest site which Pinnacle and place a limit order for a better price at Hyperliquid.

I was only reminding you that beating a Spanish side is not a big deal and that it doesn't mean they prioritize the CL more and also to let you know they're still unbeaten in the PL - it's too early to talk about potential winners after only 3 games in. I'm pretty sure the hierarchy at Spurs will have a very thin patience with Roberto De Zerbi, considering how much they spent this summer, if he does not pick up points soon, then he would be shown the door. Does anybody here feel De Zerbi would be the first EPL manager to be scaked this season?

He had a great first season at City, struggled a bit with the second one ( injury and less playing time)

He came in for £59m and he's getting sold for £60m after just two seasons with City( if loan obligations are met)

I'll have to agree with you for the first time in long argument. @Coyster, what can you say would make up your ideal striker for a team you're paid to manage? Marmoush is a flop?? Gabriel Jesus is what then?

He is the highest profile manger in the relegation zone therefore he might be a candidate for the first sacking of the season. In football anything can happen. Having said that, all it would take for the pressure to be off De Zerbi is just one win and with the amount of money spent this season, Tottenham certainly are capable of winning a match comfortably.

If Tottenham continue to lose and draw their Premier League game and the fans will continue to walk out of the stadiums before the final whistle is blown, I think the owners will be forced to take action. The season has just started, there are many game to play therefore no manager should be fear losing their job.
