In this market, what’s more stressful: watching Bitcoin charts all day or placing a risky bet?
For me, it’s both, especially if I have both holdings and have been betting for a while because that’s just how the anticipation works. I just want to win and also have more bitcoin. There are just problems everywhere in whether you want to profit all the time, which makes it stressful and frustrating. Risky bets kind of lose all the time. But I guess it depends on what you think a risky bet is. For some its is betting 1000 usd on a roulette wheel. To me that is not risky. Risky to me is odds of over 100 to 1 and betting a weeks pay. The idea of getting two years pay for 1 weeks pay is nice, but it is risky. The idea of getting 36 weeks pay for 1 weeks pay does not appeal to me as much. I am older so 2 years pay means I can do nothing for 2 years I like that idea. If I bet 2,000 to get 200,000 I would feel stress, especially if the bet looks like it might win.

I don't think anything can really compare to the stress that monitoring the charts can bring. Individuals who are obsessed with it will monitor the charts on their computers and then, on their way out, will switch to monitoring the charts on their mobile phones, making them totally disconnected from any activity that they are in outside that they should be focused on. Risky bets will have you checking back often, but not as often as monitoring the charts.

Risky bets will have you checking back often, but not as often as monitoring the charts. I think the same. In a risky bet you bet and, if it's a casino bet, like a number at roulette, you know the result at the time. What can cause you more stress is betting today on a weekend game and also an amount that you shouldn't be betting, so it can be stressful. But in general it is more stressful to follow the price of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies all day long.

Haha, very tricky question here, but an interesting one as well 😁
I think... he said something out of boredom. he may be bored with the rise and fall of the Bitcoin price. 😁 1. Watching bitcoin chart simply means the person must have invested in bitcoin and hoping for some short term profit, so watching the chart is very important in other not to miss good opportunities, and when the price is going down, it can cause panic, fear, anxiety and disappointments.
You are absolutely right. The fact that you are looking at the chart again and again means that you have invested in Bitcoin to make short-term profits. He always follows the Bitcoin chart so that he can sell it when the market is a little better or so that his balance does not overtake his liquirity when market conditions start to bad. 2. Placing a risky bet can be very fearful as well, it takes balls, and after placing the bet, it can also be very stressful watching and waiting for the outcome..
Taking a risky bet is also as dangerous as looking at the Bitcoin chart because you have to wait for the result of the bet. After taking a risky candle, a person feels a lot of instability and fear, so taking a risky bet is also very dangerous.

In this market, what’s more stressful: watching Bitcoin charts all day or placing a risky bet?
Now you've put me in a tough spot: It depends. If you're only going to look at the Bitcoin chart twice a week at most, for example, doing an analysis on Sunday and another in the middle of the week, done assertively with technique and consistency (same goes for profits), can be an interesting and less stressful approach if you know what you're doing. If you keep looking at Bitcoin’s chart or any other asset all day, anxiety tends to increase more and more. Depending on the market movement, it can lead to decisions based on emotions (fear or euphoria), which raises the chances of losing money in trading. As for betting, if you have money set aside that you're willing to lose, without being anxious or tired, and if it's games that you're familiar with and don't care about the results, it can be great for relax. Otherwise, it's better to do another task or leave the betting for another day.

(assuming by "watching the charts" you mean day trading bitcoin) Wow so far from my way of thinking. Risky bets usually lose. Investing in btc usually wins. I very rarely hit risky bets. I made money every year but 1 since 2012 doing btc investing.. With btc i do multiple hedging moves which lower risk a lot. So I very rarely lose in btc investing. Completely different game then betting a daily double at the race track

I HAD 500,000 doge worth 1,000 dollars. If I hodled perfectly perfectly I would have sold near 60 cents and grabbed 300k. I sold up the ladder too quickly and grabbed about 80k profit. Talk about stress that was stress. IT IS ALSO WIERD TO TURN 80k profit and feel like you fucked up a bit. So even dca and hodl which is how I got the 500,000 doge can become a huge stresser if the coin takes off.

Futures with x1000 leverage is probably one of the most stressful and unpredictable things that the Betfury team has ever added to their site. But what is remarkable is that some users aren't intimidated by it at all. At least, according to the leaderboard, some of them are actively using such high leverage.

Generally, players who bet with leverage above 100x on BetFury usually wager just a few of $, they would never dare to bet, for example, more than 3 - 5% of the bankroll, unless they're a scalping expert, which is an extremely risky operation depending on how much leverage is on the platform. From my experience, I've lost less with leverage than with casino games, and with Betfury Futures, what counts is your skill, now with leverage of 1000x, especially with a large amount of funds, a single movement in which the market goes against your position, you lose and are out of the operation.

But com'on, x1000 leverage is insane and highly intimidating, most especially for traders managing a small amount or fund for trading, I guess dollar millionaires are the ones who are going to be giving this type of high leverage a shot, knowing fully well that if they lose the money, they have much more money to cover the loss and keep going. x1000 leverage is pure gambling.

I think wagering 1000x is an amazing idea for a gambling website (because 1000x leverage is gambling) You can just put a few bucks or a hundred dollars and see that money grow a lot . You can win a lot, or lose just a few bucks. I will try some day

Maybe placing a risky bet is a little bit more stressful than following Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies charts daily. In fact, both are quite stressful especially when the Bitcoin price move violently by $10k within hours. Otherwise when things are quite stable then placing a good amount of money in a risky bet is something that you could not wash from your mind until you see the result and even after it.

It is not only day traders who spend their day watching the chart, there are hodlers with a lot of bitcoins who cannot take their eyes of the charts because they are worried of its movements, funny thing is that many of them are not even ready to sell irrespective of what happens. I remember when i was new to the network and had my first bitcoin, i used to be like that, looking at the price and what is happening, glad i stopped that and i am more confident right now.

Capital size makes sense as with bigger capital, your management is more stressful, and big hedge funds for example consider that their management is successful if they get small % in profit. With smaller investors, they don't see it as profit if percent is too small, as with smaller capital they want to have bigger profit percent. but 100 bucks on 1000x leverage you only lose the 100 so what .
of course if you swing really close to the 1000x payoff number and just miss it by a dollar or 2

This is still dangerous because you can think that you lose only 100 bucks, but if you continue this greedy bets you will lose many times and sum up your total loss can be very big after a long time. Finally it won't be better than the first example.

I remember when i was new to the network and had my first bitcoin, i used to be like that, looking at the price and what is happening, glad i stopped that and i am more confident right now. I am not new in this space but I must confess that I sometimes find myself glued to the chart like a magnet, and can't stay up to 5 minutes without returning after I manage to leave, and like you said, not like I am watching the chart to see if the price of bitcoin will get to a certain level so I can sell, I usually don't have any plan of selling regardless of what happens, but I still resist staying glued to the chart 😁, this is another form of addiction actually.. This mostly happens to me when the price of bitcoin is going up very sharply, like during an intense level of bull run where the price of Bitcoin could be $2000 (for example) this minute and then by the next minute, turn to $4500 or more, it's always an exciting experience for me, which is why I always find it difficult to leave the chart alone, almost like someone watching their favorite movie lol 😁

This volatility is really annoying, but if someone has time to trade and knows how to identify good entry points, they can make a good financial return. Unfortunately, this isn't for everyone and requires a few months of practice. Another point is that such drops are excellent opportunities to accumulate more Bitcoin, if you didn't buy everything in a single purchase, right? That's why DCA is so attractive because, regardless of a bull run, Bitcoin always corrects at least 0.5 on the Fibonacci (a 50% or 60% correction), which helps keep the average purchase price balanced over time. This is still dangerous because you can think that you lose only 100 bucks, but if you continue this greedy bets you will lose many times and sum up your total loss can be very big after a long time. Finally it won't be better than the first example.
I don’t think it's necessary to use high leverage to be consistently profitable in futures trading. It's just a matter of studying technical analysis, chart patterns, following the market (depending on your availability, this can be a difficult talk) and operate with low leverage with around 1 - 3% of the total bankroll. However, if you want to have fun and feel a bit of adrenaline, high leverage becomes appealing, and it's really exciting when the price goes in your favor.

When you use leverages, you become more greedy and it's same with everyone. Each person has own risk acceptance and risk management so using low or high leverages, it's personal choice. My main point is using high leverage with small capital likely results in False Safety in mind of traders. Practically, if you open a bad position, and don't close it proactively, it will be liquidated and it's false thinking that a small loss is not a loss, and many small losses over time won't sum up to big net loss. It's False belief in leveraging small capital.
