Agree because for wanting to play because you see the win of other people might make you became greedy for wanting to win the same or close to that amount or multiplier hit by that people. and I  sold a lot of btc at a loss in 2022 so I have 50k that I can write off.

Thus I sold .3 btc at 105k the cost was about 65k a coin so that would be .3 x 105 =  31.5 k minus .3 x 65 = 19.5k

so the cap Cains are 31.5- 19.5 = 12k which will write off due to the 50k cap gain credit I have

so no tax on 12k of the 31.5k

and the 19.5 k cost (gear and power)  makes that completely 31.5k tax free.


You should see my tax returns 200 pages is normal return length.

It is pretty stupid on my government's part to tax me  and make me do a 200 page return.

I don't think I ever earned 100k mining  in any year from 2012 to now.  But all the tax returns are nuts.

The major problem is not electricty rate but fluctuations and long power cuts in my area (where I have access to cheap electricty). Well for me, I've actually given this a good thought, both seems the same, for example..

1. Watching bitcoin chart simply means the person must have invested in bitcoin and hoping for some short term profit, so watching the chart is very important in other not to miss good opportunities, and when the price is going down, it can cause panic, fear, anxiety and disappointments.

2. Placing a risky bet can be very fearful as well, it takes balls, and after placing the bet, it can also be very stressful watching and waiting for the outcome..

But in conclusion, I would say that watching a bitcoin chart is less stressful because there one have options, like being patient or selling to cut your loss..
Placing a risky bet is more stressful because one's placed, you can't cancel, you either will win and get profit, or loss and go home with nothing.

I think placing a risky bet is more stressful, especially if it's a skill-based game where our decisions can influence the outcome. Sports betting is a great example of that. For me, it’s both, especially if I have both holdings and have been betting for a while because that’s just how the anticipation works. I just want to win and also have more bitcoin.
