The tokens are not really locked, but to take full advantage of the farming it is better to ride the wave until the end. So in that way, the tokens can't be used for anything else anymore.

I see your point and that's really something that can be followed by those investors who like treating BFG as valuable asset. I have to say checking some other person to wager and seeing them getting something is not a good way to deposit, not a good reason neither. I mean if you are doing something of your own then you are going to get your own result, if you are doing something that you base on someone else then you are not going to get the same results as those people.

Exactly. Just have several bucks worth of tokens from the farm and they are not auto-compoundable (which sucks) so might as well as wait a little longer.

Well, due to the experience I have with these BFG tokens, I would leave them still to bet, because it would be generating enough dividends in other currencies such as BTC, ETH, TRX, among others, also with the high price of BTC this in USD increases significantly, which I mean from a personal point of view, it seems better to me that way, in addition all that amount of tokens is something juicy that can be generated, however this is beneficial because the door is open for us to possibly see the tokens listed on Binance and This would be something much cooler, for these reasons I prefer to have the tokens that way.

I also have not heard anything about MATE before. It's definitely a new defi project considering that the smart contract of this dex was created only in August. By the way, the current rate for exchange BFG on this dex doesn't look profitable. I think it's probably due to the very low trading volume at the moment.
