Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"?

We are about to experience what we have  never  experience  since 2016 which  will  make every investors  to  testify  that 2020 is the best year compare to 2017, when the price of some crypto was $780 when it bull 2018 $3,122 that make many investors happy with their reward they got from their investment.
I think with some research carry out, show that all crypto investors are about to experience crypto pumping and stable as never before. The sign people where seeing in 2017, many investors are experiencing it now that is making more investors to put more effort in their investment to make great profit.

for me 2017 is a golden year for the crypto industry as well as my wallet too, well I don't think it's just me but including all of you, especially those who have crypto investments and bounty hunters in 2017 who took advantage of the sales of coins in that year. Currently it is very different compared to 2017, to get money from promoting bounty projects is quite difficult, most projects end with fraud.

I'm sure the best is yet to come.  Yes, 2017 was a very busy year in terms of trading, but this year the market revived with new very interesting projects.  Blockchain technologies are developing and are definitely in great demand.  I'm sure the best is yet to come, this is just the beginning!

No doubt it was one of the best year in crypto and I’m glad I had witnessed that history but also witnessed how most cryptos melt after their ATH. I believe there’s more coming in crypto space, 2017 is full of hypes even the trash coins are mooning now they are filtered and people slowly learn where to put their investments.

2017 was a special year with many successful projects that gave investors and bounty hunters a lot of money, and scam projects were scarce, so yes, it is the golden year of cryptocurrency, I think if this year was repeated with the deFi projects it would be a diamond year. yes it is true that 2017 was a crypto golden year, Even though the last ATH was very memorable for most of us, I believe that we don't just stop there. It cannot be argued that 2017 has become the "golden year of cryptocurrency" as we are in the very early years of cryptocurrency development. 

I was born in this forum in that year, who would have not found this bitcoin forum after inputting bitcoin in google search bar lol Golden year of cryptocurrencies at the time, bitcoin was being recognized by many people even getting in mainstream media. But that was just golden, I'm waiting for the diamond one 

I think there will be many surprises in the future that will lead to the emergence of new altcoins that will attract attention.

Surprises like what? that Satoshi is Craig Wright? and Vitalik is just a clone? just kidding. I can't say now what will altcoins do in the future, all I see is pump and dump, then die.

I didn't know crypto at that time, but most people said that 2017 was the golden year of crypto, but if I look closely I think people think 2017 is the year of crypto, maybe because it's the first time in crypto history that BTC and some Altcoins reached their highest price or a price that nobody had anticipated and the whole world was surprised by it.

The comparison is not right, the DEFI HYPE is totally speculative but the organic market growth was the main case during the 2017 bull run. Easy money was possible for new investors in 2017 due to the high volatility and the x100 pumped altcoins which have been bought before October 2017. 3 years ago the majority of market participants are not aware of scam projects but now the big part of investors&bounty hunters know how to find the scam project. The education level of investors has been increased a lot since 2017.

Indeed the current defi hype and the bullrun 2017 are different to be compared. I believe year 2017 is not going to be the last time that we can see the price of coins consistently increasing, it will occur again. Its just that we are not certain if how long we're going to wait. Thus it takes guts and patience for us investors to gain huge profit like we did almost 3 years ago.

The year 2017 was the Golden Year so far.  There may be some hype today but it not as wide as 2017 where every crypto created almost came out successful.  It is also the golden year for crypto scammers since there are far more cases of scams that year than today.

Yes 2017 was the best year for crypto. Those who were in this market before that time and holding for atleast 1-2 years they were in high profits. The growth was not about one or 2 coins it's about the whole marketcap at that time. The market cap also reached ath at that point of time. After that we see many market pump but not like 2017. Even 2020 has also a good market move. But it's nothing supposed to like 2017. I missed that move. I entered the market when the growth almost came every one talking about crypto at that time late 2017 or early 2018.

I see like a tidal pattern in the sea. For 2017 it is rising and now the water is receding. I believe 2021 is the start of the BTC price rebound. Today BTC moved to $ 11,397.80

2017 marked a new start when projects started to emerge with a new form of crowdfunding, the ICO. I think the market has been overrated and as a result, a series of projects have been devalued hundreds of times. FOMO everywhere, people getting panic about missing something , throw their money to ico, competing to become a private investor, then cashing out, then lock up period has ended , the team also cashing out immediately ,new comers feel dissapoint, then cutting lose, instead of trying to get back what they lose before, they just lost everything by bad actor who create fake ICO/pyramid scheme like BCC. Make a report to their goverment make crypto getting worse after all, banned by goverment or even facebook has block ICO page on the that time.

2017 began as a bullish year for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on the market. I remember when BTC went from $1k to almost $20k in just 2017 alone. That's a massive price increase never before seen in the history of crypto. During that time, new projects started to rise with ambitions to make our world a better place. ICOs where a big hit, followed by Bitcoin-based forks like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold. Many who invested prior to the bull market of 2017, have made exponential gains in a short amount of time. It was crypto's best moment as it went into the mainstream so quickly.

It hasn't been the best year in the crypto market in my opinion, because it still has a lot of scammers and a lot of investors going into debt,  all is just manipulation. In the future, Bitcoin has reduced supply and now there are many financial investment funds holding bitcoin.  That sign suggests that the crypto market will get even stronger in the future and that the market cap could rise to a few trillion dollars.  I am a believer in technology that can lead the future so Blockchain will be an indispensable part.
