and maybe trying also to get His luck because we know all of these fighter has a strong punch and a single of those can bring down the opponent so chances are always there, and i know this is also what Conor thing though i don't say that he has no power to face Manny's ability but lets be real they they have different discipline in their career and this is a boxing ring in which Manny is one of the Best.
Actually, I'm for Manny for this match. I'm not saying that Conor will win this game. I'm talking about his entire career if he's going to shift from UFC/MMA to boxing. That's just a mere speculation that we're talking about.

Chance is there but we've seen him fight Floyd and the guy won. It's not even to see someone who's into a different physical career and goes shift into boxing quickly. Obviously, the majority will be for the crowd but we don't know what's in it for Conor.
I definitely look into early retirement for Connor. He faces a tough guy in MMA/UFC and really has the strength and win but I may take into him facing a tough guy in boxing, he.s just a little who is fighting for an old man. I don't think the seriously taking this fight decision or just like he wants to gain appreciation from the crowd. Because only hard/loyal fans for Conner will support him, the majority will choose Manny.

Conor McGregor is only 32 years old, he still has a lot of fight in the MMA but he was just trying to make money from boxing as it could give a bigger money from him with an easy fight since it's just an exhibition, Conor McGregor is smart, he is only making use of his popularity very well.

^^ Well someone already started that trend, ehem... Floyd Mayweather. So Conor is taking that route to retire early unhurt, his health is 100% but has fat paycheck. But the problem with this kind of athlete though is that they also spent their wealth very quick. And that's why I think he needs the Pacquiao fight to maintain his lifestyle unless he has invested his money instead of buying expensive thing. Yes he has his whiskey business, but the last time I read is that it didn't go as well.

From the discussion.

That's what everybody thinks, Conor's for the money and fame for this match. It's rarely happening that an MMA/UFC fighter goes into boxing. But for real, it's an effective transition for him. First with Floyd and then Manny, see how his strategy works.

Raking a lot of money from the genre that he's not really with.

Conor McGregor is not an active fighter, he won his second belt and then went and boxed Floyd and earned around hundred million dollars and then his return to the UFC was to basically promote his whiskey. I am sure he invested in many things and he does have a media company who is following the sport and many other ventures. Even if he is not fighting anymore he will be having the revenue stream.

True, but we never know if his business is doing well, and even if its doing well now, just like a boxing career, there's no guarantee that it will succeed in the long run or will survive as it depends on how you handle things,  Conor McGregor is obviously trying to make an easy money that's why he is challenging a popular fight to gain a lot of watchers which brings money to him.

If the odds are greater than +900, you can bet on both outcomes of the battle and get a guaranteed profit.

I don't get what you meant here, it's not possible in sports unless bookies are stupid enough to offer an odds on both sides that makes gamblers win regardless of the outcome, I think that's giving free money and have never happen based on my experience being a sports bettors for many years.

Read the entire dialogue and you will understand what I was talking about. If the odds for Pacquiao to win are 1.12, and on Connor's +900 or more, then you can bet on both outcomes and be guaranteed to be in profit. Obviously, if the bookmaker sets such odds, it will be his mistake. But you can always look for profitable odds from different bookmakers.

Yups His skills are not for the boxing ring though i know he knows how to box yet the rules in boxing arena will be the hard part for him to use his ability to beat Manny.

Maybe same strategy that Manny will use, because we can't deny that Conor has a power and if he reached pacquiao then for sure game set will change and favor him.

He was not thinking of reputation anymore, thinking solely of money that's why he is asking for this fight for the price of big money.

Just like in boxing, if you ask people who is the best fighter and compare Floyd to Manny, I believe majority would choose Manny as though he wasn't undefeated but he really gives entertainment to the fans, he wants to give you a war in the right and it's up to the opponent if they will go toe to toe against Manny, so if this fight will eventually happen, I'm just hoping Manny will knock Conor out, but it's unlikely for an exhibition fight.

Most likely it would really be finished until 12 rounds just like what happened on that Conor and Mayweather fight which it do somehow give out entertainment after all of those rounds
even if we do saw on whose the clear winner with this one.Money is of course a sure thing because its impossible for someone who do just simply switch up into other kind of sports
even if he do know that he would really had the disadvantage.Everything goes for the money and as i read above that he isnt interested anymore? as other said there might be
some conflicts about the profit-sharing and the team of Conor didnt agree with the terms thats why we have seen that they are mentioning other MMA fighter for a possible next fight.

Wonder why he stopped talking about this fight?
But still too early anyway, a lot can happen in between. Let's see.
The tweet sent out by Conor McGregor was Manny Pacquiao vs Conor McGregor in Saudi Arabia. The fact is these Middle Eastern countries are loyal to Khabib Nurmagomedov and the Saudi officials informed Conor McGregor to take down the tweet within an hour or face legal action and Conor McGregor took down that tweet and now wanted to divert the attention and asked for Dustin Poirier fight  Grin.

I think there more to it than what you just explained but if that's was what really happens, I don't see a reason why he has to skip the Manny Pacquiao fight because of the Saudi government threat cause it not a must that the fight take place on Saudi Arabia soil.

Actually, I'm for Manny for this match. I'm not saying that Conor will win this game. I'm talking about his entire career if he's going to shift from UFC/MMA to boxing. That's just a mere speculation that we're talking about.
Yups His skills are not for the boxing ring though i know he knows how to box yet the rules in boxing arena will be the hard part for him to use his ability to beat Manny.
No doubt that he knows how to do boxing but professionally, he needs to train more and gain more professional boxing match.

Quote
Chance is there but we've seen him fight Floyd and the guy won. It's not even to see someone who's into a different physical career and goes shift into boxing quickly. Obviously, the majority will be for the crowd but we don't know what's in it for Conor.
Maybe same strategy that Manny will use, because we can't deny that Conor has a power and if he reached pacquiao then for sure game set will change and favor him.
Whichever strategy, two niches of these fighters are different and the favor is always for Manny. I don't think that there will be one lucky punch to happen. Manny's defense and stamina is entirely different and strong so, I don't think that there will be a change of situation but we will see.

What I see it's more of an exhibition just like what Floyd did with him and the Japanese match he had. It's all for the show during the pandemic and let's say that all of us, fans wins if this happens.

No doubt that majority will go for Manny Pacquiao, even me who has no plan in gambling this whole year because of Pandemic yet decided to Bet for manny in this one.

But conor and Floyd fight is not interesting because we Knew how Mayweather play always keeping distance in His opponent.
While Manny is a Bull type, wanted to go forward in each fight.

You're going with bookies if this match is ready to go or you have someone to bet against personally? It looks like a sure hit for the boxing nation when someone's not from that niche asking for a match to one of the living legends.

It is his strategy and in MMA you don't usually do that and that's kind of sneaky and even with the match that Floyd did with Manny. A bull against a bull, we are all excited to see these two get a head to head action.

I think that in this fight (if it takes place) for Pacquiao there will be no need to go forward in every episode - he will easily shoot Connor from a distance. Knowing this, Connor will be forced to go forward himself and will most likely get knocked out very quickly.

It's very rare to see a fighter so aggressive against Pacquiao, they might be good before fighting Pacquiao but once they taste that fist suddenly their style will change and for sure a non boxer in real life would certainly have a difficulty on putting his defense of Pacquiao's fast and strong punches.

Just so everyone knows how got hype in this possible fight  Grin

Manny Pacquiao vs Conor McGregor will not be for WBA welterweight title

Quote
But that title will not be on the line if Conor McGregor is to be Pacquiao’s next opponent – as recently confirmed by both parties. The fact Pacquiao vs. McGregor will be an exhibition and more than likely at a higher weight than 147 pounds, means the WBA title will be sitting on the shelf for that event.

I think even if let's say this is a title fight, there's still no risk on Manny as no way Conor McGregor can win against the legendary boxer.

Strange news. This fight initially could not be a title fight, since Connor does not meet certain requirements (I don't remember exactly which one) as a boxer. The organizers of the fight for the sake of the hype could declare the fight a title fight and even hold it, but then through the court "remove the title" from this fight. If I'm not mistaken, a similar story happened with Roy Jones.

I was also surprised by the news that Pacquiao could lose the WBA title if he faced McGregor. Even though the fight between Pacquiao
and McGregor is not a title battle. For Pacquiao the fight with McGregor is only a charity fight, because the money that is earned will be
given to victims of COVID-19 in his country. After all, it was true that McGregor had not met the requirements as a boxer, so this was
just an exhibition fight.
