I currently went for the popular option 12 - 14K


I think sentiment isn't great but the 10k is a fairly solid looking floor. Some upwards movement seems do able.

I've seen no huge changes in my crystal ball until December and it is likely the same early next year.

It sounds like we have to stop thinking about bullish market, less possible to see.

Most probably, under $8k is likely happening before new year because the trend kepts going down. Bullish market couldn't be experience while pandemic hasn't moved on. Investors and other huge businesses suffered big loss, that's why cryptocurrency has been affected a lot so don't expect too much with virtual currency.

I think it will still be in the middle of $10K and $12K.

I am hoping that it would be the same in the past that whenever the end of the year is closing, the price of Bitcoin is reaching new ATH but it is different now. Since the price is still at $10K and we are still sliding down, I think we will be staying at that price mark for some time. If we break the resistance of $12K in the next weeks though, then I think it would be at $12K or even higher.

I believe in the Winter pump that will take us back towards 20k, just like in 2013 and 2017. There's a pattern here of small pumps in Spring followed up by big ones around the end of the year. In 2013 there was a small bull pump in April, followed by another in December. This year we went up in July and there's a chance the move will repeat.

It's difficult to predict bitcoins cost because of his highly unstable state, I vote in favor of the falling of the market.
Since I am watching the cost since July and what I make sense of its stable and not going down.
We'll confront Christmas as well and I realize many people sell out their coins just to celebrate both the events, "Christmas and new year".

Bitcoin price is not going down as much as people make it out to be, I mean it did went down slightly and very tiny but that is not really big enough to make it sound like it is on a bearish run, it is barely enough to make it sound like it is not on a bullish run. This means we still don't know if it is going to go down or not, we do not have proven date to track if bitcoin goes one way or another when something happens. Which means you can't possibly know if the price will be $8k or $12k, either could happen and none of us have any idea which one is more possible.

We can make assumptions here which is what we are doing, however one thing is for sure, there are more people who think it will go up than people who think it will go down, this doesn't mean it will go up but it just shows what majority thinks.

I actually believe the price will rise around December to around 14k and then from there on we will see it float around 15 and hence I would pick 14-16 range because it is actually realistic and we all know around the New year time the price usually raises so at least 14k is what I am expecting and it should stay true for at least few months before dropping and setting 13k as the new normal .

On a side note, thank you for such threads because it gives a reality-check about how the market is looking at the market and if we are being too positive or negative about the price in our own brain.

I can only reiterate that the price of Bitcoin comes from the overall state of the markets - which in turn depends on the mood of investors who are closely following what is happening in the world when it comes to pandemics, recessions or the fact that Trump got the virus just a month before the presidential election.

I was also referring to 2013 before the Gox bubble. It happened more than once.
Regarding what you said about it taking at least a year and a half, that's only if you believe in that progressive bitcoin cycle theory, but it's based only on 2 cycles. Of course the last cycles were getting longer, but I believe there's more at play here than just the time periods before the bottom, the halving, and the next ATH and a great example of such events was the pandemic crash that cancelled the bullish wave we were following since January.

I also think that Bitcoin would be around $12k-$14k. I choose this because I based on the current price we have not, and it is more likey hovering around $10k but still, there are 2 months left.
Perhaps we could somehow predict the price of Bitcoin when we enter the last of this year. Honestly, I have no idea what price Bitcoin will hover with that day but for the I don't want to be a pessimist and too much, optimist that is why I only choose in a midway.

We know a lot of speculation about bitcoin price predictions at the end of this year but I will not be sure about the high rise but it will last and it won't be 15k more because the recession will continue seeing the volatile market situation especially with many covid issues spreading but I'm sure bitcoin is able to survive.

What happened to the prediction of severe experts whether they can trust? I don't think the market can determine and stick to my stance on bitcoin will remain we will see how it will react later I don't believe it will reach 20k.

It is difficult to predict the current movement of bitcoin because the current price of bitcoin tends to be around $ 10,000 more, and goes up $ 11,000 then goes down again, and enters the end of the year approximately three months.

We have only 4 months ahead to enter new year. If the price of bitcoin grows gradually, then price range will be option 4 which you personally thought about. I think so that the price range will be $12k-$14k.

I believe there is a big chance that this winter will not be such a huge movement season, it is obviously going to move a bit, it can't stay at $10k-$11k levels for next 4-5 months, but it is not going to make anything big neither, it may go up and go down to same place or maybe go down and go up to same place but at the end we are not going to be too further away from this price for sure. However by this spring, like by march or maybe April we are going to see a huge increase in bitcoin if we can handle until that moment.

There is a huge chance we could even go above $20k as well for the first time since 2017 December peak. People do not think that we can go there but I believe we can. So, until new year I believe price will not be too much different, it is going to be too close to care about movements.

Bitcoin is so much volatile crypto currency. We see that Bitcoin price was hit 20k $ in 2017. In this year Bitcoin was hit 12k $ in the meantime of Corona pandemic. So my personal opinion is that the new year Bitcoin price will hit 14 to 16k  $ easily. Because bitcoin is one of the most potential and best crypto currency.

Wow, I'm surprised that the results are so pessimistic - only about 1.5 percent of those who voted expect (apparently) the breakout of ATH. Personally, I do not expect this and I do not even expect a bullish trend this year, but I am surprised that the community is so pessimistic now, as it seems to me, the share of optimists is usually much higher here.

It sounds realistic and i do have the same assumptions or prediction.Price do hype when we are approaching Holidays but i dont see that it would be similar on this time of the year.
We do much prefer on stable increase on slow pace and just like what other said that we are hoping that we will see some nice rally or run specially on special days of the year
where money would really be needed.Im aiming to sell out some portion of my stash when the time comes but at least it will hover or play around 12-13k and that would nice.
