Now the decentralized exchange transaction cost is high. Forkdelta or etherdelta both are the same exchange. OP can sell/buy any ERC-20 tokens only by smart contact address. But this exchange has a very low volume. I will suggest using others exchange, decentralized or centralized. Uniswap can be used because now ETH transaction is average.

Etheredelta has not been renamed. The owner of the exchange sold it to Chinese companies and, in parallel, it has launched a new exchange Forkdelta. They even had the same order books for a while. Now both of these exchanges are almost dead. At the moment the best solution for trade tokens is exchange Uniswap.

i think every exchange need gas fee  but i understand your logic. etherdelta exchange is easy to sell erc-20 token , i used this 2 years ago when all was good in crypto market. but now i search new exchange like etherdelta but now i feel that it will be happend. wait & see.

Without paying commissions, you can only sell coins on centralized exchanges. However, in order to deposit your coins to a centralized exchange, you will need to pay a commission. I remember a time when gas cost 2-5 Gwei. These were the best times for transactions on the Ethereum network.
