Thank you all for yet another fantastic week, keep it up! The mempool is extremely congested right now and I've spent close to $200 on this tx but there's still an unknown of when it'll be confirmed. I'll try and see if we can sort something out next week if the issues persist.

What do you think of suggesting the optional adoption of receiving payment with ⚡LN?
I believe that most of the participants here have a wallet or exchange account that accepts LN.

It doesn't have to be mandatory, but each output less is an amount saved in your transaction

I wouldn't want to do this as it could set a dangerous precedent. As that user Atrax has not made any posts on behalf of Duelbits (and likely never did if the account got hacked many years ago). If he gets the account back he's free to apply in this campaign if that's something he'd like to do, though.

I managed to check that signed message but it is missing 'current time stamp'. I cannot read German but I checked on translator.

Could you ask @Atrax to sign again with today's date in signing message.

I headed up here because,

Atrax account was registered on 2017. If my account was hacked, my first step would be following the procedures to recover my hacked/stolen account. But, this account's 2017 post history got NO posts/topics on recovering account.

So, when I will keep quiet for years even after losing access to my account?

I have seen the cases of people voluntarily sell accounts (pls note, until 2017, DTs got no neg opinion on account trading) and then kept silent for years and then trying to recover. This case is also possible when people default loans.

(If @Atrax have used a brand-new account, I would have believed them still not thinking for 5+ years about a stolen/hacked account sounds fishy IMO).

I fully understand your concern. But no: I never sold my account

Here's what happened: After I realized that the my account was stolen, I tried to recover it. After contacting the recovery team, it was clear: Without access to a private key which was associated to an address which was used back then as RealMalatesta, there was no chance to get the account back. Which I believe is the correct way to go, but was unfortunate for me: In the early days of Bitcoin, I had on almost every computer some wallets. Some of the harddrives were lost after I transferred all the assets to consolidate the "jungle of wallets" I had created. As you see, there were never any assets on this account I posted back then, so no: It wasn't part of the consolidation process.
Did the situation make me grumpy? Of course it did, and yes, for some time, I wasn't using Bitcointalk heavily anymore.
With many members of Bitcointalk, I had established personal connections over the years, and with many of them, I remained in contact outside of Bitcointalk.
I started the "Atrax"-account for staying in the loop and contacting people I didn't have an e-mail address for or any other means of contacting them.
And if you'd like, I could give you some more information on a private message which would probably be more evidence as to why I wasn't very active anymore on Bitcointalk
Meanwhile, I got into "early retirement", moved to another country, and as you see, I had a break-in recently. When talking to my former wife about this, she told me that she still has a box with old hard-drives from me in the attic. When I visited my home-country some weeks ago, I got all those drives, moved them to my new home and eventually started to check them for old pictures. And hell yes, on three of them were some old wallets. One of them had one address I was using as RealMalatesta. So that's why it took me so long to finally - and hopefully successfully - start the recovery process.

As to the withheld payments for the guy who bought my account: Don't worry. I'm not asking for anything.

If you have any more questions, I'm more than willing to respond also per e-mail.

nakamura12, your actions are a direct way to the black list. The manager made it clear to everyone not to spam their applications. If you have updated data, then just edit your last application.

If you've already applied and did not get accepted, do not re-apply, I did not miss your application but at this time you will likely not fit into this campaign, either. Re-applying if you left an application at some point during the last 10 days or so will result in you being put on ignore and forfeiting any chance to join any of my campaigns for the foreseeable future.
