Just a friendly bump for Chancecoin and all other Supernet guys who might be running Nxt nodes 


There was a critical bug fix in NRS v.1.4.17 but someone is exploiting it still as there are still those who haven't updated their nodes.


So please could you check all your nodes and tell your friends and colleagues on slack who might not check nxtforum to do the same. It is important to do so to keep them safe.

Hey man, someone just deployed $chance coin which was inspired by the coin you made in 2014.

The ticker and name are great, but what really intrigued me is the fact that bitcoin needed to be sent to a burn wallet in order to receive it.

We did some digging and found that the original burn address was sent 480 bitcoin, which is now worth over $50 million dollars in today’s value.

I like this lore alot, gives the actual coin itself some tangible value and a reason for being brought back to life, since technically $50m was burned to get it.

Obviously I didn't make this coin (new or original), and this is basically an ad for a SOL memecoin, but the guy brings up a good point about the BTC burn giving the old Chancecoins some kind of inherent value. That idea should hold up for Counterparty's XCP as well, except it doesn't really -- only to a minor extent.

Anyway, does anybody ever still run this software, or maintain a node?
