Venetian and I have been working on new single-player casino games that we hope to have ready soon. Here's a screenshot of the poker game we're working on:

Great work! Community should take action now!

Hey Guys,

I have some specific questions about the poker game.  There is a very big online poker community at 2+2 http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/and I think this could be a great way to get CHA noticed.

If you have developed an RNG for the card game, why can't you make a totally decentralized lotto game?
Is the poker game against a real opponent or the house?
Does it work like real Holdem?  Is there betting on every street? No Limit? Limit?

HEy fellow poker player Wink

It is single player for now, so you play against the house, but magician talked about implementing a p2p game later on (also for sportsbetting!)

So, let me get this straight.  I get to play poker against the house? Like real poker?  Grin$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$  I'm having fish tonight!

You can't beat the house, only lower the house edge Wink  (if implemented correctly)

Its like blackjack.

Ok, so it's like playing 3 card poker at the casino, not real poker?  But this still implies they developed an RNG, right?

It is like video holdem poker, yeah.

No, I think they still kind of use the NY lottery drawings. But I have no idea, no specifications are yet released!

Will be intresting though Wink

Looks like there will more games and applications be delivered. I am personally more interested in football game gambling. Is there any opportunity to have this application ready for the world cup which I believe is more attractive at the current stage.

I know they use the NY lottery drawings for the lotto.  What I'm saying is that if they developed a poker game they must have developed an RNG.

Suggestion for Gambling Promo:

- 2 Week duration
- every participant that joins gets 1 CHA in the first week | if he joins in the second week: 0.5 CHA
- Grand Price: 50-100 CHA
- Goal: Most CHA gained from that initial 1/0.5 CHA, no other CHA deposits allowed!

Suggestion for Signature Promo:

- 1 CHA per week for everyone that puts on the signature and has over 60 Activity
- We need a good unique signature!

Suggestion for Video of client usage:

- We set a bounty for a Mac and a Windows User making that Video

Any critique?

If you have heads up Texas Hold'em poker vs a computer, you will get crushed and all your monies will be gone.

Who will get crushed, the player or the computer?

It is not real "texas holdem" it is video poker with 2 cards instead of 5 card draw..

Agreed.  If the game is on the level, I'm confident a computer won't beat me, but I don't think they are going to do that.

I know there are some HU Limit bots that can't be beat over a high samplesize (with history) but I guess that can't be implemented, hehe.

This is great. I just created a forum at http://chancecoin.com/forum/index.php. Let's try to get organized there. In the post called "Elections," I nominated TwinWinNerD to be the Treasurer. I think you already won that election.  Grin

@Magician thank you for creating the forum.
In my opinion it's best if we keep talking here and only when the community grows bigger move to chancecoin forum.
We need more participation here on BTT to get this thread noticed.
(p.s: i think the chancecoin forum can be a good place to post summary of the things going on here so it will be easy for the Devs and community to follow. For example I opened Development Question for Devs post: http://chancecoin.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13, collecting questions community member have for Devs that were posted here in bitcointalk.)

Yes. Let's keep talking here as we are not too many and keep a résumé of important things on the other forum to keep track.

Agreed. We'll concentrate our discussion here and use the forum on chancecoin.com as a place to keep a summary of the important things that are mentioned here. This will help us build a stronger community on bitcointalk. Sometimes un-categorized discussions here actually foster better exchanges of ideas and can lead to good ideas like this one!

I like it. We should make the gambling promo ongoing (maybe refreshing every two weeks) so it encourages a constant flow of casino activity. Let's just make sure we have enough CHA to keep the gambling campaign and the signature campaign going all the time. I just sent the last 40 CHA from the old donation address, as well as 250 CHA from my personal burn address, to 1CHANCeWHSRAfvfi4rwo8v6NEY64RfZYqB. I've also updated chancecoin.com and this thread to refer to 1CHANCeWHSRAfvfi4rwo8v6NEY64RfZYqB as the donation address. Let's all pledge some CHA today!

Also, I think we should have a promo to reward people who wager with their own existing CHA to encourage larger bets. It will be nice to see lots of newcomers betting with 1 CHA, but we also want to see Chancecoin regulars betting hundreds of CHA at a time. I propose:

1 CHA newbie promo: get 1 CHA free to gamble with
Pot sweetener promo: whoever wins the most during a two week period also wins 50 CHA (winner can be anybody)
