It can be morally wrong but still a lot of people do this because who wouldn't want to get rich.
At the same time, having connections with a politician can also land us in trouble from my perspective.
After taking a favor from a politician we can't say them no for anything and that makes us owe him what he ask for.
This can turn out to be a bad thing and get us in trouble and so I would rather earn less and stay out of trouble instead.

I can't really think of a favour they can ask us instead of a vote. They might already have what they want so the only favour they can ask will be to participate in their campaign rallies and promote them so they can get maximum votes. These politicians are hungry for votes and that is their only need because votes will give them power again. These politicians might also have some shady business but they will not ask for our favour in these shady stuffs because they already have local goons for that.

Lol, if you cannot think of any favors that the politicians can ask you then your imagination power is very low.
Not discouraging you but that politician can literally ask for anything.

For example: asking you to hide his illegal weapons in case of trouble, hide money when he is under raid etc...
These are not even that dangerous yet it can land you in big trouble but just imagine if he asks you to come with him to a certain place without telling you where.
If you go with him and get shot on the way just because you were with him at a wrong time.

Not seeing much of disinfo though, except usual suspect whitewashing the suicide bombers by portraying them good son, quite individual etc etc. Rely only on official briefings, so far they are on spot on.

Double security check on airports now, common people have to suffer. They will do all of this after the attack happens and not before. This is what I dont like about the system. They will not try to prevent but try to patch up everything that happens.

Yes, even I heard recently that Jio, Airtel and Vodafone are going to increase the recharge packs by 10% - 12%.
The price surge is expected to happen in the month of December and will likely affect all the recharge packs.
They say it is to manage the rising operational costs but this seems like a bad news to us.

They have already removed the affordable recharge packs to lower class people and now increasing recharge packs almost every year.
I really miss those days when used to recharge with just 10% to keep the number active.
These days we have to spend at least a minimum of 200 rupees per month just to keep the number active.
I hardly use my number but usually receive OTPs in it and hence I have no option than to pay the minimum amount which is still looks high to me.

Officially, Jio gave 90 days for the user to recharge the number and keep it active but they also giving extended runs for most because they want to keep the people as Jio users. While if you are Airtel user then you have to keep recharging it, even if your pack expired then you will be bombarded with calls and if you fail to recharge in like 10 days then the next time you call someone from other state will pick up the call for that number.

They already made plenty of changes in their plans like in "value plans" it was under 300rs for 3 months but now it's over 400 with no data (only incoming and outgoing now).

Atm my incoming is active with no outgoing and today i added 15 gb data for 200rs and it turned out i can't use this additional data unless i activate my outgoing calls with some plan, previously it wasn't the case.

In my experience, in airport and other sensitive areas security are always tight due to constant threat of terrorism and its just atm they doubled all their efforts, including in borders which is usually kinda meh.

TRAI made an announcement that every network provider must keep a monthlyh recharge pack for low value customers and these network providers did nothing but removed the data and just kept incoming and outgoing feature for the same price. I remember a couple of years back Jio monthly pack was around 200 and even when they introduced it was like 239 or something but now its 349 and soon it is going to be around 400.

Why don't you think about switching to postpaid if you want to keep your number active. Even postpaid offers plans starting from 200rs and they also have benefits like data rollover.

I have switched from prepaid to postpaid and have set an auto-pay from PhonePe so I don't have to worry about recharging every month.

No, you will only have the outgoing for 22 days and the data pack of 3 month also will not work after 22 days, you need another call plan for the data pack to work.

Correct, main pack will kick in later but outgoing started working already. Total 409rs for 15 gb data add on + main pack ( 3 month+22 days).

Have yearly based subscription number as well and this one is my secondary number.

Thanks to JIO, the internet penetration has grown so much now. Free wifi internet is available everywhere, and home broadband is still cheaper than mobile internet. I have been reading that these mobile companies will increase the tariffs once again, possibly next year. We Indians are so dependent now on the internet that we will pay those new charges too.
