jokes aside as you said FTA looks like a win-win both countries , on Bihar it's like an Ex who is on constant ignore list.

It's not FTA but baseline framework agreement which could potentially become full fledged FTA in the future.

If we didn't capture labour intensive sector then it'll turn meh deal for us because we did give usa some concession ( some were already in progression before this tarriff war popped up). Tbh I'd would have liked if we had quality dairy/ food/ meat product access from Eu and NZ ( not USA). Well, atleast MP and up got one, which is good. Bihar ke log jayenge phir se dusre states mein. Ik logistics matters but guj, mum aur tamil nadu already got enough labour intensive industries, hopefully they focus on bimaru states more and diversify industries among all states.

Big slice of pie goes to madrasa ( 5000-ish crore) so muslim vote is already in her pocket. Women's schemes are already in progress for almost everyone ( blame Shivraj Chouhan for mainstreaming this) and now this..

She might even win the bhadralok with this and BJP will lick their wounds again.

Let me give you an example of how well democracy working in Bengal 

5 Bengal state govt employees, working on poll revision SIR exercise, added 100 fictitious names to the voter list…EC came of know of the fraud and asked Mamata to register FIRs against all five…Mamata stood behind all five adamantly,After six months of relentless pressure from EC, now FIRs have been registered but…Mamata stubbornly backs the employees and openly claims that the move (registering FIRs) ‘not to be taken seriously’… 

Not to mention she already started campaign with if BJP came to power , they will close all the fish market & won't let anyone sell fish.

Democracy and the Supreme Court is a joke in India. Voting process is like politicians are buying vegetables from vegetable market.
Congress aims for muslims and BJP aims for non-muslims. They gift money as if they are spending money out of their pockets.
The foolish citizens don't understand that its our own money that we are paying in taxes.
When they win, they recover the money somehow from us and don't make any developments around us and thus our struggle continues forever.
Something has to change here and that change lies within us.

From another perspective, they just want to survive today so they take whatever money if politicians are offering to them and survive for one more day. This shows where most of the populations are living in terms of finances. But the surprising thing is they still chose to be loyal they took money from someone so they will sell their votes only for them, something deep-rooted in the culture, I guess.

Education will give better clarity to the people but government is trying to keep more people away from education or give them some kind of struggle to focus without thinking about their future.

Budget vagera kuch farak nahi padta. In politicians ko kitna bhi budget allocate karo toh bhi kam padta hai.
Upar se paisa daalke humse vote ki bheek maangte hai fir jeetne ki baad humse bheek mangwate hai har ek chij k liye.

Education is the only way for Indians to get out of poverty and get a better lifestyle.
Education will improve our civic sense and improve our general awareness which will help us elect a better leader.
But as you said, these politicians are making education difficult for poor people for their own benefits.

Education is the only way for Indians to get out of poverty and get a better lifestyle.
Education will improve our civic sense and improve our general awareness which will help us elect a better leader.
But as you said, these politicians are making education difficult for poor people for their own benefits.

Governments are offering free education to the school level but also they are enabling them to do other than improving their future, such as religion, political sports, cinema, etc which just keep those young minds occupied and only a few realize these are just distrations and should focus on their studies but ended up moving to US.

Ruling party controls all other individual bodies such as the election commission and the supreme court so expecting them to take any action against them is just a wild dream to become reality.

Election commission deserve fair share of criticism but before 2022-23 selection of election commission was big joke and no one had any say in it, it was only based on PM's recommendation (99.99% loyalists). Atm it's became much better, now atleast LOP also has a say in it and part of the process, in next cycle might become more transparent.

Popular and easy thing to say that gov controls the courts in India but courts in India follow Collegium System (actual nepotism)and gov has zero control over who's your next SC-HC judge, one of the reason judges are untouchable here. That's why you see diverse ruling from time to time. District courts are fucked up tho.

I have little knowledge about how judges are picked but the government should have some kind of control or atleast they can influence who is going to be whether directly or indirectly right?

Even if the judges can't be picked still they can buy whoever is going to take their case that can be the onl reason the rape charges against the politicians are taking decades to get any judgement and by that time the victim may not even be alive or the actual charges will be dropped and a minor one will apply with few months of jail so they can still be bribed in this competely corrupted system.

Parliament tried that recently with amendment but courts are so powerful that they struck it down by calling it unconstitutional.

Also, It's a double edge sword and need balanced representative from the gov and judicial. You don't want a system where loyalists occupying the seats and bidding for gov. You also don't want judges going berserk and turning courts into NGO and playing favourites.

Buying off/ scare mongering courts etc happens mostly in lower courts ( this needs major cleanup). All the messed up rulings we see in higher court is because of law enforcement ( dodgy, compromised investigation) and fuck up from lower courts. SC/HC has its flows, long list but not this, yeah sometimes they play favourite depending on cases and ideology ( which is hugely left dominated) or if it's 3-5 seats bench but overall it's better and functioning alright. .
