Why does anybody complain about signatures on bitcointalk forum in first place to an adblock?!!!
My guess: they don't mind not seeing them, but they do mind if
other people don't see them because that threatens the existence of signature campaigns.
It is not like you have to see them. There is a simple checkbox option available in the profile of every user under the "Look and Layout Preferences" where the user can simply check the "Don't show users' signatures" and not see the signatures anymore and without any way to circumvent it!
I don't think that option is available for new accounts.
Do the uBlock devs know this option is available?
From uBlock's perspective, it's understandable: I don't want to create an account on every site I visit, and when I install an adblocker, I expect it to block as much as possible. Can't blame them for being good at what they do.
