If you are talking about the membership we have right there is copper membership that will treat you as a member rank. Head nav bar > More > Buy a copper membership.

IF if you are thinking about the merit if you buy a copper membership you will not receive any amount of merit, Instead merit is just earned if you give a good and helpful post, mostly by creating a thread, or just reply to a thread.

Again we have another rule.

I think @Peanutswa,r OP here is referring to Rank. If I am correct he would like to know what he needs to do in order to increase his rank. He is already a Jr Members and I do not think he requires a Copper Membership.

How to earn merit? it's strange, since you have already earn merit before, why do you still ask about it? Youre a year member already. Merit system has been implemented 2017 I guess, Im sure you been able to read some of the topics about it.

Based on your post history, you know how to post on different sub board. So I dont buy the question which you dont know how to get merits.

Youre more often to service type of sections and doing some business so I guess a 100 plus post will never miss topic about merit.

It is not too late to start and contribute help in the forum. I myself had grown my account in just past few months by extending help or even just participating actively in the discussions. If you want to get some merits then follow the tips that will be provided to you by some users here in the forum. I can give you some tips but I think not good as other members here that has earning merits quite so fast with their diligence of course and their contributing factor.

What make you get merit, is your quality ideas you share in any of the forum. Your total commitment in the forum can still lead you to your merit.

 I thought you are talking about rank. Here are some ways you can get merit from the foru:
1) make sure you go through all the rules guiding every forum before participating. Very is easy to get merit was you obey the rules.
2) quality: make sure all your post are good write up concerning the topic. Make sure your idea are good idea.

In order to make attempts to get merit not look too ridiculous, I would advise you to write about what you are really good at. Posts that are written by professionals in a particular field are always more interesting to read than those that are written just to get merit.

It's raining, and I'm in a stroppy mood, so I put the OP on ignore. This is the risk you take when you try to be creative when soliciting for merits.

I know that some people have severe problems in earning merit, but it isn't really that difficult if you have a genuine interest in learning about Bitcoin, and you respect the forum. Most of the merit sources want to encourage beneficial members, especially new ones, but it can be quite hard to find genuine members to encourage. The merit system has been around for over two years, and there are numerous threads and articles about it. I even created a web site dedicated to discussing my activities as a merit source - Talk Merit - a blog about life as a merit source int he Bitcoin Talk forum. Despite all this, we still see regular threads about the basic concept being started, and the cynical amongst us believe that in many cases, it is just a form of begging.

Activity is a far more restrictive barrier to ranking, but we don't see this discussed much. One wonders if this is because signature campaigns regard merits as a form of exam test, and use it as a qualification for acceptance of their putative spammers.

When you landed here in this section there are already pin threads here and it housed everything you need to know on how to get started in this forum, even if you ask they will directed you to these threads, and as a newbie it will help your cause if you spend at least 2 weeks reading at least 5 to 10 threads daily about forum rules, this is the nth time I have seen newbies asking the same thing and it's becoming a redundant topic.

It seems that you did not explore the forum in the previous year, as you are not familiar with how the forum works. By that, I will suggest reviewing the different sections, as well as the different guides for newbies. Furthermore, a simple search can explain and clarify your thoughts. It's not that hard, you will just type some keywords and see the different topics that may help you. You are responsible for yourself, therefore learn to develop research on your own. But for now, read this to understand the ways of gaining merit.

What do you mean by which forum? Did you mean which board or section? You no need to do something outside in this forum to get merit.
Everywhere in this forum, you can earn merit but the post must be attractive, for example, a post by which one/some people are helped, a post which is a solution of something asked by other members, etc. And  I want to inform you that to get merit a topic is more helpful than a good reply. so try to create a more quality topic that replies.
