I guess this will be the biggest lose(at the moment) on political betting.  I remember reading on an article that the gambler was confident and going all-in on betting on trump after consulting a trump camp insider. I wonder how he feels right now or does the gambler blame anyone for this loss. I'll be looking forward on 2024 there already rumors saying that trump is considering presidency again.

That was a wrong move if they will only rely on information coming from Trump's camp?

What would they expect? of course people working on the Trump camp would say Trump will win, even now that Biden was already a clear winner, haven't read a statement yet that Trump already conceded.

There's no information yet as Trump still considering legal action after this, He still not conceding taking all possible resort to contest this election result.

Not easy for the outgoing president that he's losing his opportunities to serve the country again, but it's clearly being voted by the people and after the counting Biden defeated him.

but what does that mean? not that I am against or supports him. I am just curious. does Trump still have a chance of winning? or it is just prolonging his stay as a president? American politics sure is complicated.
He is trying to investigate many states where Biden won because he believes that people are cheating to push him out of his chair. This does not prolong his current presidential status. This Incumbent president will continue to serve the country until 20st January, 2021.

However, there is still a small chance that he can be successful in filing lawsuits against the Democracy and Biden. He is focusing all of his efforts and it is certain that his supporting team will do it as well. Right now, I just want to congratulate Biden for his win no matter what the future results might be. He is now winning the Presidential title with most vote ever. 75,215,986 votes is an outstanding number

$5-million is a huge amount of money. I hope that this retired banker understand how to overcome his loss. I feel sorry for him.

Asking for an investigation and recount. Because there were reports that there votes that haven't placed to him instead, those votes go to Biden. About his chance of winning, we don't know. Once there's a result of that investigation let the higher court decide for his win. Until the end of the year, we have to wait if the higher courts are going to proclaim him as a winner, or else we already knew who's the winner because of results. He's not prolonging his stay, AFAIK, he's on the term until January 2021.

That's right, so he is still in control during that time and he can fasktrack the investigation if he has a real proof that the other camp has cheated him in the campaign. However, for an incumbent candidate, it's hard for an opponent to cheat on him as he is on power, I guess what really made Biden win the election is really the real vote of the real people.

Trump insists on the election fraud though. Why would he do that? There are only 2 possibilities.

1- He is telling the truth and there was  a massive fraud,
2- He is so corrupt and full of filth, he is afraid of going to jail for his crimes for the rest of his life.

Which one do you choose to believe it is up to you.

There is another possibility but the chances are not great imo because it would backfire very badly:

3- He is lying and trolling because why not.

I have one more possibility and that is he can't accept defeat. In most elections, when a candidate can't accept the fact that he lost they'll do a protest for a recount and say that there's something wrong with the counting process.
PS: I'm not a Biden nor Trump supporter.

~
His popular is gonna lived short but the feeling of losing $5 million is with him forever if it's not his usual bet size.
The trust for Trump made some people loses money as they thought Trump had a good odds and he has a high winning chances at the same time.
The situations were much closer than we think, it was competitive till the end and this was the most polled election in a century and that will change the odds very much and the uncertainty was high and you really cannot trust the exit poll and it was a good bet but to place five million for that was excessive.

I made a $100 bet on Trump to win and once the tide turned in favor of Biden i placed another $1500 and covered my loss Cheesy.

Every election happening, the losing side will be shocked that they didn't win and will end up investigating the other side because of winning. That's why politics is very dirty, we aren't sure if Biden's side did really cheat but Trump's side is assuming they did cheat in the election in order to win and be the next president. This isn't an exclusive case in their country, actually, it also happens in a different part of the world, where politicians can't accept defeat.

I just realized that $5 million can already be fed those people who are poor since we're on the pandemic, I hoped he uses it in donation than using for a bet. But I can't blame him for doing that, he purposedly bet a huge amount for his own entertainment but hoping that he has a lot of money, so he can't be depressed on such a huge loss.

It's his money so it's his decision where or how to spend it. I'm pretty sure he's rich and doing his part to help the unfortunates during this pandemic.

But I can't blame him for doing that, he purposedly bet a huge amount for his own entertainment but hoping that he has a lot of money, so he can't be depressed on such a huge loss.

He has the confidence to go all in for Trump even if many US citizens hate him so I think that $5m is just a chunk of his asset.

I'm now wondering what he feels when he made that bet compared to now.

Everything you stated is possible, but we will wait, because even Trump will make a protest about the election result and it cannot be proven there's a fraud, everything he has done under his term will be unveil to the next president which is Biden.

Let's just wait for the big news, hopefully there's more surprise to come, but for now, Trump already lose in the battle.

The betting figures are fantastic and he may well be on the campaign fund support team for Donald Trump, a bet of 5M which is quite a big deal considering the current odds Donald Trump is a few percent behind Joe Bidden even though there has been no official announcement from the United States electoral authorities. If there is an option for a temporary cashout, it's better to just cashout because Donald Trump's chances of winning are so far that I'm even optimistic that Joe Bidden will announce his victory in public officially. Perhaps before the presidential election, many favored Donald Trump to return to lead the United States in the next five years, given the record that the United States president has always been led by two terms like Barack Obama before him.

This 2020 US Election is very close and they are head to head  on other states. A $5 million bet is too much for me  Cheesy its just like wasting money. Now reports of  election fraud, computer glitches in favor of Joe Biden is surfacing on the net. Me too is exciting of the results but seems Biden is winning already and Trump preparing for lawsuits.  Cheesy Lets see what happens next,, as we watch the happening unfold.

sorry, that's probably my fault. I was gonna edit and add(but completely forgot about it) what would also happen to the bets who already claimed the bets from the gambling site if in some miracle trump actually was able to reverse(or something like that) result and actually won the campaign.

as far as I know, there is no news. other than that the gambler was a former banker(according to the articles I've read) there is no more information about the gambler. I guess the gambler wants to remain anonymous to the public eye.

I guess that hurts. Knowing that Biden won the election but as always probably this is a whale and doesn't care about his bet since no idiot will place bet with such amount if he is afraid to lose it.

Everyone has fear, even in gambling, in fact, I would say that I can afford to lose $1000 in a single game but I'm afraid to lose it, because that is my money and when I gamble I always aim to win, and therefore I believe this bettor is feeling down now.

Losing in gambling will be at every people, not caring if he is a banker or another big government position. Once that person loses his money, he just loses it and he will not have a big chance to recover the losses. But maybe many people who are playing gambling will not understand that because once they can get fun gambling, they can forget about everything and stay at the gambling games for a long time.
I admit people do lose their bets during games, but the question is: how much do they actually lose compare to this gambler living in England?. I repeat; this is not fun nor entertainment we do refer to on this platform becasue the sum is higher than just make fun from. A whooping $5M just disappeared from an addict gambler living in England, i deeply regret his actions.

That will be our question because we are not sure how much money for their living in England. Maybe that losing money is too big for us, but in some countries with above income per capita than the other country, that amount is not too big, and they are not too surprised with the loss amount of money.

Maybe that is not fun for you, but how with other people who can enjoy the game? They will say that playing gambling is really fun and they can enjoy the game. That can make them forget about everything.

The defeat was quite big because he chose Donald Trump as the candidate for the winner of the president of the United States. Indeed, seen from the survey statistics, Donald Trump was more eager before the presidential election, but the results were beyond expectations that Joe Bidden managed to beat Donald Trump to become the 46th president of the United States. The bet value is quite large for me, if you lose with such a nominal size it may take more than a year for me to recover and reflect on my stupidity why I have to choose Donald Trump to win in this presidential election.

Maybe he really feels down, but if he can bet a huge amount of money like that, I'm sure this one is multi millionaire or even a billionaire, and that amount of money is just a piece of cake. I think he's more down because of the fact that his beloved president lose compared to the money he lose. I think he's one of those people who believes that the election is rigged. As we can see, he's bet was on the 50-50 side, we all know trump has a lot of followers and he's more on the safe side before betting, but just like what every other people say, voters who decided to have a change in their country will be unpredictable. I hope no dirty works in this election, I wanted to believe that a lot of people really voted this time.

What many are yet to understand about this England gambler is, the gambler is pretty rich and him betted such amount gives some reasons that he's rich indeed. The moment anyone bet such should be an indication that they are above such  amount of funds in their savings. Though the amount looks huge but not to the gambler in question, for Trump not winning the election is such a disappointment for this gambler though hope he enjoy the games around this US election.

This person has become proof that when we have been involved in gambling then I think money is no longer valuable. 5 million dollar is not a small amount to bet on gambling, it is very difficult to accept when losses occur. But I don't think it would be a huge amount if the person had more money in their safe. In my opinion, most gambler are people who are willing to bet their money even if it is earned on loan. By the way, I am curious about what happened to this person after seeing the fact that the stake lost.
