Having their own bitcoin ATM at these casinos is a good start. Though right now, they can't use btc for betting but I think, they are not very far from trying out games that will accept bitcoin. As people are avoiding the use of cash as much as possible and many are already converting to digital payment, I believe these physical casinos will try to integrate bitcoin on some of their games. Will be seeing that in the next couple of years or so. But right now, business of online crypto casinos is booming. A lot of gamblers turn to online as most of them can't go to physical casinos or are still avoiding the crowd.

There's no such thing to say if we can sustain while we're still in the midst of pandemic, and though we earned sustainably from descent job that doesn't mean we're going to bet often. However if we find it comfortable to do it, then it's our virtue if choice but don't be addicted. Self control is very important in the first place, because if this becomes a habit I think worst cases might occur specially in our daily budget.

I think it's counter intuitive to gamble in real life with Crypto - by that I mean you can do so on any number of online gaming sites.  When you arrive at a Casino, people usually buy a drink (or even a meal) then exchange their fiat cash for poker chips which they then gamble with in the Casino.  It would be no different to using Crypto, I would imagine you would have to exchange it for in house poker chips (then chash out later).

Imagine buying 0.01 worth of chips, not wagering then an hour later cashing those chips back to crypto and only getting 0.00812 because of TX fees and the price fluctuating whist playing.

Perhaps, that is not available right now, but soon, it will be available in the casino. If the government can allow bitcoin to be used in many businesses, the casino can use bitcoin to bet, and I think the casino will be the beginner that will try to use bitcoin.

The chance for bitcoin to be a mass adoption currency is wide open, especially for payment methods. But so far, bitcoin still be the option on the payment methods on the online payment. If you are curious about how long bitcoin can be as a payment method, it'll be one year later, five years later, or even longer than that because that is back to the government because they are the regulation maker.

It's uncommon, but from 2019 on it's already a reality in Las Vegas (The D Casino Hotel and The Golden Gate Hotel & Casino) and Cyprus (Merit Hotel Nicosia). Very few land based casinos give their customers this chance, but that is something is going to change soon as crypto currency becomes more integrated to our daily life.
Actually I expect not only wealthy casinos adopt it, but also the popular ones.

That's how it is from government regulations because they will legalize it or not, therefore adoption in cryptocurrency is still difficult at this time because regulations are not enforced.

About betting in real life about bitcoin, it will not happen because this is specifically for online, what about real bets, but what is placed in bitcoin is not real money? Still at the core we know traditional gambling is currently being used with fiat money and it applies throughout, and bitcoin will still be the best tool online, for adoption it may take us a long time to test it.

It depends on that country when will that happen. I think some casinos in US already have that. But to countries where bitcoin is not fully known yet and not been acknowledged by the government then it's not likely to happen. All we can do for now is go to gambling websites and use our bitcoin there.

You can buy chips using your Bitcoin but directly we still don't have that technology or it will be coming out in the future, actually the scenario in the Cryptocurrency gambling sites online is far better now than it used to be, we will soon step in the physical casinos as the adoption progresses, we never know, while we are discussing this right now a gambling casino is already planning this, it's not a remote possibility because Cryptocurrency is taking the cashless transaction, maybe a year or two from now we'll have a thread like this, that we can discuss.

Not for long probably. I guess it will happen anytime now if only land-based casinos are really bent on offering this kind of new gambling experience to their patrons. Of course, some regulatory arrangements will have to be discussed first as this is indeed something unprecedented in the physical gambling industry.

What I was thinking, however, is whether Bitcoin or crypto gamblers would choose land-based casinos over online ones considering that many of them are also protecting their identities.

I think it's possible but it'll take years maybe a decade or two before we see some casinos accept bitcoins since the majority aren't spending their bitcoins. Timelord mentioned the inconvenience when spending bitcoins so if they want to make it happen they need to use the lightning network or have an off chain platform so confirmations and fees would be less of an issue for their players.

There's no exact date yet to say when and how long we should wait but for now, it's still blurry to have that in all of the physical casinos we have all over the world. Using Bitcoin in casinos as a bet would be a pain in the ass right now having transactions that will took few minutes or even longer to be transferred to another wallet. Also, we have to consider that implementing it would be an adjustment to both parties (The Casino and the players)

They need to be seminar about Bitcoin at least to avoid future errors such as sending their Bitcoin in a wrong Bitcoin address or in a wrong address, like ETH add, XRP add, so on and so forth.

I think casino can easily accepts bitcoin if they want, the problem perhaps is that the demand is not yet there. And crypto gamblers will still used online casino's to used their crypto to gamble.

And I don't think any difference at all though, if you love real life casinos, then exchange your crypto first to fiat and then go to land based casinos to gamble, problem solved. And just imagine that you really wanted to play right away in a real life casinos, but then you have to wait for confirmation time, it's gonna be hassle on your part.

As of now, there is no casino gambling that uses cryptocurrency as a means of payment because it is decentralized and most of the casino gambling that we know are owned by authorities or somehow related to the government, but I am hoping for good innovation for cryptocurrency in gambling for the future and if it would happen, I don't think that many people will use it as their payment because there would be many factors they consider first before using it unlike on gambling using fiat currency.

I don't think that this is possible to cause people in the casino hates delay or something like that. they prepare something like bitcoin convert to the chips of the casino first then they will play with that. Knowing that this is physical casino is what you are talking about means we need to have atleast physical item to bet on,not unless each casino houses will have machines that has scanning power so we can just pre scan our wallets and then we're ready to go.
But I believe that this will take time before having all this.
From there I am sure that gambling will be in its finest having machinery like that.

Not really familiar with physical casinos that accept Bitcoin, but it shouldn't be long. Casinos should probably just wait till the pandemic blows over, and then they can start managing that feature of accepting crypto. Though it may take years, depending on how long casinos would actually need to make a comeback from the damages done by the pandemic. Still, it highly depends, a  BTC ATM may or may not really be needed tbh, after all, if the casino isn't a pure BTC payment type but also accepts fiat, then there's absolutely no need for one. BUT if a casino is a BTC only payment casino, one may be needed, but the existence of that casino itself as a physical casino seems irrelevant to me? They might as well just have started an online casino in that case tbh.

last time there was a discussion simillar to this . on the topic they share an info about physical casinos that are now accepting digital payments but they dont mention crypto on that info that they share . the countries covered are on the part of u.s  . if they made that possible where physical machines can interact online for the purpose of gambling , they may possibly experiment it soon with other digital payment methods and crypto can be included on that list . that wait isnt long for that because people are already started working towards this new posibilities .

Psychical Casino will definitely consider many things before allowing crypto to their casino, and what is certain is the benefits should outweigh than difficulties that will be faced if allowing crypto as payment.
It is possible to happen but when the time is very difficult to predict it could be next year or it could be 5 years later, but now there have many online casino that accept crypto so that's can be an option for now before psychical casino accept crypto happen.
