For those countries and places that is already adapted the crypto currency, they are allowed to use crypto currencies in any other platforms but for those countries and places who aren't aware about crypto currencies, I think it would be imposible for them now to adapt and use bitcoin in traditional casinos as a mode of payment or even in any other platforms.

I don't think so, maybe it some platforms but not in any platforms since if gambling illegal in your country, that does not give an opportunity for casinos to adopt with bitcoin. In fact, crypto online casinos are only accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrency for now, because the regulation is not quite strict compared to a land based casinos where government are fully monitoring them.

These online casinos are getting their license in a country that are so friendly with crypto casino operations but in a land based casinos, they get the license from what country they are operating, so it's not easy compared to online.

There aren't many countries where gambling is legal, so talking about this does not make sense because it will not increase the mass adoption compared to playing with btc online as it can be seen by anybody all around the world without any restrictions, and if there are country restrictions, gamblers still take the risk and gamble there. Why not make chips worth BTC0.001 or more (or less) and give it to their players after they decide their total buy-in value (bankroll)?

You are definitely right on this one this is why most of business owners will really tend to build up an online casino rather than on physical ones due to the one of the reasons when it comes on getting a license
and other regulations.

Yes, online casinos do have license and do also abide with laws and regulations but not that strict when you do have an actual physical place where your business puts in.
Its one of the factors that surely being reconsidered first before making up any investment decision neither they do go online or physical ones.

Each country do have its own jurisdiction towards gambling thats why we cant really expect for something of global adoption or some sort.

We might have to wait, casino's who are already accepting it might be just testing if it's okay, but I'm very sure that other casinos are studying it, especially that that price is very unpredictable, I think the volatility is one of the things that this casino'sare very concern about, they can't afford to lose by having a lot of bitcoin while the price goes down, at the end of the day this company needs to have a profits

A new breakthrough if there is a physical casino gambling using bitcoin or other crypto payments. It’s very interesting.
Because they usually use payments bitcoin for online payments, or payments in stores, or used for payment of services such as electricity bills.
Actually, if have permission from the government of the country, it is easy to implement. But so far I have not found physical casino gambling using bitcoin payments.

In regular casinos you buy chips at the cash desk. I do not see a big difference in what currency you will do it for. Especially now there are already existing plastic crypt-currency cards, which are nominated in cryptocurrency and when calculated convert it to dollars.

I also think of an idea that regular gambling casinos can use chips that will represent the value of bitcoin. By that, gamblers can buy bitcoins through chips and they can now play cards or any game they want. It is possible that cryptocurrency may be used in a regular casino or maybe there are some casinos who is regulating it already. Online casino websites if you will compare, it is just a part of an overall running casino. Most casinos adapt easily and I see no other reason for them not to adopt cryptocurrency.

Conventional casinos do not sell their chips directly for cryptographic currency primarily because it is not allowed by the law of the countries where they are located. This is the main reason. In addition, not many people use cryptov currencies, and therefore casinos see no reason to lobby for the adoption of such bills in their countries.

Although we see Casinos as money draining machines that are out there to drain us out of our finances, we can safely say they would not accept all kinds of money anytime soon. Especially cryptocurrencies like bitcoin that bypass the security feature of some casinos, so not anytime soon will bitcoin be accepted in casinos.

What do you think?

at some point people will be able to walk in a casino and just bet on slot machines with bitcoin?
or play poker using crypto, but irl?

do you think it will become a mass adoption currency or it'll keep as it is on online websites only?

of course some merchants and places already adopt crypto and BTC as a way of payment, but curious here:
how long you think it'll take to reach the point where we can bet in real life places with bitcoin?
Hmm, to be fair I haven't seen any old fiat casino that started accepting of bitcoins. More likely, what I see online are crypto dedicated casinos. Idk why that doesn't happen but seems right now we have two sides: Fiat casinos and crypto casinos, you'll very, very rarely see mixed ones, the only one in this category that I know is sportsbet.io
So, very hard to answer to your question. I know one casino that didn't accept crypto payments but instead founded a new casino but with only cryptocurrencies.
As you know, real-life casinos are often associated with money laundering and at some point have a bad reputation, so I don't think it will happen anytime soon but in 2-3 years, who knows, even PayPal accepted bitcoins and gave a huge push to its adoption.

I doubt most bitcoin enthusiasts will shift on physical casinos if ever bitcoin will be accepted since after all, why should they do that as there's a much convenient way of doing gambling right at their home.

And for regular gamblers on physical casinos, bitcoin payment is just an added payment option so nothing really special.

It's a big step towards acceptance but should not a big deal or point of concern.

With the current confirmation time, how long do you think it will takes for placing a bet? It’s not ideal for a quick-playing game. Maybe the casino wont apply bitcoin directly to their machine, but by accepting bitcoin for the payment of their tokens/chips. Or maybe they should have a bitcoin ATM in their casino, or.. bitcoin as a jackpot prize maybe? It would be great. However, introducing bitcoin to gambler can be risky for offline casino because they are introducing an online money for online transactions, which usually used for online gambling. Surely, they dont want their customer changes their mind to play casino online. Lol

If they don't want to lose their gamblers then they should adopt the changes and go online since if they will wait for everything to get normal for sure there gamblers already find a place where they enjoy playing. But I don't think all will settled to play on online casinos once it will introduced to them since for sure many will still prefer to go on offline casino once everything is normal since the enjoyment and gameplay are different if we play physically.

Lol
With a proper rules and preparation i think this confirmation time problem could be solved.
I mean there is third party service that can analyzed whether the transaction is safe from double spending pr any other malicious transactions etc , so it is something could be done.
Another possibility is by exchange your money with a chip worth of 1mbtc each for example , with this way you dont have to wait while making bets.
So by the end of the day when you try to cashout it is all in bitcoin .
Would be fun surely!

I think this question is kind of the same as if we think bitcoin or some other form of cryptocurrency will one day be mass-adopted and used as an everyday currency.  I believe we will get there. From PayPal adding bitcoin and a couple other cryptocurrency's to China issuing their own "cryptocurrency" , it's inevitable this is the way of the future.
I think if you create one digital currency that is used for all countries in the world then it requires coins that have a very large supply and of course there is a high possibility that price inflation can occur and the price movements of the coins will definitely be irregular, it's better to keep bitcoin a coin main and can be used for all countries and no other coins, whereas if some gambling and payment platforms have their own coins it doesn't matter the most important thing they accept exchanges with bitcoin so that it can increase the use of bitcoin.

Everything depends on the government, if the government can regulate Bitcoin and accept it as a means of payment.
We can bet with Bitcoin in physical casinos in the near future. Currently Bitcoin is still in the development stage,
so it takes time for mass adoption to occur. Therefore we need to promote and educate many people about Bitcoin,
so Bitcoin can be even more popular, thus speeding up the adoption process.

Maybe we can use Bitcoin to buy chips but I don’t think that Bitcoin alone will be use on real casinos, Bitcoin works online and many are still a traditional casinos and not all players know what Bitcoin is so we are still far from this but hopefully in the future. For now, let’s gamble online and stay safe from the virus, Playing on a casinos right now is still risky, so play safe.

Right now, I don't think that it will happen in our country. Even though bitcoin is legal in our country, only a few people actually use and accept it and we still need the help of a third party or exchanges to use our bitcoins. These local exchanges have a lot of partneeship deals that made us use bitcoin to pay bills and other stuffs.

I don't see any significance and big chances if ever physical casinos will consider adding bitcoin payment.

There should be a designated bitcoin physical casino meant rather an integration with phyiscal casino. But if such case that isn't possible, the best and convenient way could be bitcoin should be consider used on physical casino's designated online website casino.

Personally, I see no point in paying with bitcoins in a regular casino. I do not want to advertise myself or my bitcoin wallets. It is much easier for me to buy chips with any fiat currency.
On gambling sites it is very convenient and much more profitable to accept bitcoins for payment than to receive payment with bank cards, because in this case the casino will not pay the bank for transactions.

Volatility, confirmation time and fees are three of the issues that needs to address first if casinos will accept Bitcoin as one of their option, unless these three issues are addressed I don't think the casinos will integrate it, but we never know three years from now if they will have a system that will fix all these issues.
