how long you think it'll take to reach the point where we can bet in real life places with bitcoin?
I'm thinking on how can you use your Bitcoins in real life casinos.
I'm not an expert on this concept but I'm thinking the way to use it is that you can create your own account and you can access their games by logging your account with Bitcoins on it.

Either way, adopting Bitcoins in casinos is very far from now because of transaction speed, transaction fees and lack of regulation since we know that casinos are being regulated by the government.

For me, I think it would be better if Bitcoins will just be used in online gambling sites and let the gamblers come not Bitcoin to come in physical casinos Cheesy.

Until we see that Bitcoin transaction is speed has improved and the transaction fee is lower, we will have no chance no chance to see Bitcoin being used in a real life casinos, and the possibility is very remote right now, there are so many Bitcoin transaction going on that some transactions takes longer than 10 hours to get confirm, something that is not acceptable in a real life gambling.
it would be better if there was a bitcoin atm in every casino it is easier to play with paper currency compared to crypto currency especially bitcoin that it takes time to recieve the balance.  I don't see any reason why we need to play using our Bitcoin if there is already fiat money that you can use to play . Not unless it's been accepted any where that even simple groceries in the market is you can use your Bitcoin.

That's what I think too. Who needs Bitcoin in physical casinos, to be honest? I bet more than 90% of people going to land based casinos, do not have, and, probably, will never have any crypto. And, on the other hand, more than 90% of people possessing BTC are playing online(if they want to gamble), never going to physical casinos.

If casinos on location make a bitcoin payment possible, then the anonymous is gone.

I think the technology should certainly be able to be there for it, but then you might as well play online in a casino.

In general, you want a bit more anonymity when you are gambling with bitcoins.

Yes right. If there's already adopted system that may bring bitcoin everywhere then surely is ain't
impossible anymore to see it being used to a landbase casinos.

For now fiat still being used to this venues as it's far easier and better as like waht you said, easy to transact as you can see atm's where you can withdraw and start playing, but who knows, it's a matter of time which i believe once bitcoin being adopted and embraced widely then is not impossible to see the worth of using it inside landbase casinos.

It would depend on the countries development and how they see Bitcoin.
Not every country are in favor of Bitcoin and I think not all country would accept it.
But there are some online casino that is already well known to us here in the internet I think it would be better if they are the first to open or at least merge with offline casino.

I am not really interested in betting in the real life, whatever it is. on the internet it will be better because there are many games to choose from without having to waste time waiting like in the real life.

if to expand the use of bitcoin (crypto currency) it would be better. but I am comfortable with gambling on the internet.

In fact, this will not depend on every country. There are flagship countries, and if the crypto is legalized and adopt in all of them, then the rest of the countries will have to come to terms with this fact. Perhaps there will be some special local restrictions, but no one will argue with the existence of such a financial instrument if it is recognized by the countries that determine the financial policy of the world.

I think that it is most convenient for gambling houses to use fiat money as it allows them to carry out many profitable schemes.

For example, if casino clients use fiat money for betting, the casino can easily hide part of their income before the tax authorities. Also working with fiat money casinos can launder illegal income from other illegal areas.

Those who love to gamble in casinos would still want to gamble in casinos if choice given over internet. Like it is an alternate and can be gambled from anywhere at any point of time, but the way you feel and gamble in casinos where there are so many there people, enjoying the beverages, drinks and spending quality time with friends cannot be substituted gambling on internet. So in such cases if btc can be accepted while gambling this will be the best thing to happen.

Exactly that is what has come in my mind after I have read the title of this thread. Anonymity.

But that could be a reason for different institutions and companies to promote it. Think about your wallet address is linked to a service where you have done KYC to.  Shocked

exactly, just like the newspapers didn't go away after internet became big, casinos in real life won't go away either,
both will coexist: real and online ones.

Personally, I do not see any problems with anonymity. All you have to do is pretend that you have never used BTC before.

You can send a deposit to a new BTC address unrelated to your other addresses via exchanger. There are other options, such as using CoinJoin technology to top up your casino address.

What do you think?

at some point people will be able to walk in a casino and just bet on slot machines with bitcoin?
or play poker using crypto, but irl?

do you think it will become a mass adoption currency or it'll keep as it is on online websites only?

of course some merchants and places already adopt crypto and BTC as a way of payment, but curious here:
how long you think it'll take to reach the point where we can bet in real life places with bitcoin?
I think that those people preferred bitcoin more than poker and casino that should be the reason they have to bet with bitcoin instead of casino, and its obvious that those people that are desperate towards casino will definitely  bet with casino instead of bitcoin or any other coins, I noticed that gambling is based on choice and provided that the necessary materials or requirements are their to play gamble, the gambler have no option to gamble with available one.so may be for them to bet with bitcoin may be bitcoin is available in they hand to bet such.

Exactly that is what has come in my mind after I have read the title of this thread. Anonymity.

But that could be a reason for different institutions and companies to promote it. Think about your wallet address is linked to a service where you have done KYC to.  Shocked

Personally, I do not see any problems with anonymity. All you have to do is pretend that you have never used BTC before.

You can send a deposit to a new BTC address unrelated to your other addresses via exchanger. There are other options, such as using CoinJoin technology to top up your casino address.

Indeed there are several ways if you are really that mattering on your privacy which you can really make use neither of mixers or simply making out transfers on exchangers
for  it wont link in case you've decided to do other activities like gambling and if you dont like for government or institutions to see on where those coins came from then
you can really make use of these methods.

Anonymity does depend on someones level of preference. Some doesnt like to expose and some doesnt really matter at all.

You can see such kind of physical casinos in Vegas in the next few years, I think there are few casinos accept bitcoin already but they aren't used by much now but bitcoin is getting more attention Especially after the pandemic strike so people are going with cashless and cryptos for convenience.

Well, I am not sure how long we are going to play in a physical casinos because websites are trying to bring real world casino experience with the help of VR so I guess we may forgot using physical casinos.

You are lucky that you have a casinos in your country, that accept Bitcoin there are so many countries with casinos that wants to accept Bitcoin but they cannot because of the fee and delayed in transaction confirmation, but if you exchange your Bitcoin to fiat before you can play then it's not something new, but if directly in a casino betting this is interesting.

That can give you a new experience to use bitcoin for placing bets. But you need to be aware that you need to save your bitcoin for the next bull run. If you are often playing gambling, I am afraid that you will lose too much money, and when the bull run comes, you will not have a chance to profit from bitcoin. But for the other countries, I think they will need more time to see the casino will be used bitcoin as the bet because they need to wait for the next update from their government. Until that time, the casino will still use fiat money to bet.

This is interesting. I know that there are physical casinos with Bitcoin ATMs, and where you can pay with BTC for hotel services, restaurants, and some souvenirs. But I'm not aware of land-based casinos where you can buy chips with BTC. Are you sure this is the case in your country?
