Preliminary release date: 26:th of April. We have choosen to release on the weekend to make the launch as fair as possible.
This project is being worked on side by side with University studys, work and parenting by the Development team.
We estimate we should be done by then, it might be released on the 27:th and in a absolute worst case scenario the weekend after.
After Bitcoin mining became ASIC centralised people converted to Litecoin/altcoin mining and since Scrypt mining is soon
going to be just as centralised as Bitcoin mining we came up with the solution - Alter Ego Coin.
The Alter Ego network will be secured by multiple hashing algoritms rotating in a pre determined cycle
that will make AEC impossible to mine with any currently existing or in the pipeline type of ASIC/FPGA.
AEC mining will require a customised miner to mine and the miner is currently in progress.
Exactly what algos and how many different algos that the miner will use will not be made public yet.
Our aim is to take the power back from a few companys that produce ASIC`s and FPGA`s for a small elite of miners able to invest
thousands of USD into dedicated mining equipment and re-decentralize crypto giving everybody the opportunity to mine, now and in the future.
At the same time we wanted to develop a coin that fast and easy can be converted into FIAT and sent almost anywhere in the world.
A coin that gives you the option to instantly exchange your Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency into AEC and trade the AEC for FIAT and have them sent directly to your bankaccount.
We will have downloads for Windows, MacOS, Linux source available on release - no one will be left out in the dark.

Three 0% fee P2Pools (1 EU, 1 US, 1 CN) will be available on release and they will remain open until we see at least a few other pools up and running, then we will close them with a 24 hours prior notice.
It is our firm belief that pools should not be run by developers, they should be run by independent pool operators being a part of the community!
The Exchange:
In paralell with the coin and the miner we are working on a AEC/FIAT exchange that is planned to go live a few weeks after mining have
started. The coin will by then be listed on at least a few major/larger exchanges and the market should have determined its value.
We will be able to conduct IBAN/SWIFT/BIC transfers for up to 4000SEK or roughly 625USD per transaction without a know-your-customer process
in full compliance with our local laws and regulations.
If you want to exchange larger amounts we suggest doing several transactions with 1 day(24 hours) in between or going through the registration process that we will try make as fast and painless as possible.
Our aim is to keep the process under 24 hours on working days, national holidays will of course be listed on the site.
Upon launch this service will be available to EU+Norway, USA/Canada and Chinese customers only!
India and other countrys part of the commonwealth is second on priority list, Africa and South America are not considered at the moment sorry.
PLEASE NOTE: For some countrys we might need optional information like Sort code or Routing code or Routing number.
PLEASE NOTE: Certains fee`s will apply using this service, our goal is to keep the payout to the customer above 95%.
For smaller transfers the percentage might be lower and for larger it will be higher in the 97.5-98% range for none KYC sending transfers for the maximum amount (4000SEK).
Transactions will be sent out on the next working day.
Transaction time might slightly vary from country to country and from bank to bank.
Payments will be made in SEK only so an exchange fee might be applied by your bank.
Exchange rate will be determined by the timestamp for when your coins reach us, not when they are sent!
This combined with the higher number of confirmations for exchange is needed will prevent the coin being pumped then dumped on us for FIAT.
There will be a roof at 40000SEK/week for KYC verified customers, this limit we hope to remove or increase as soon as possible.
PLEASE NOTE: If you transfer when reaching us should be worth more then the amount we are allowed to buy without a KYC process (4000SEK)
then the surplus will be considered a donation to charity through Garissa.se
example: your coins are worth 627USD instead of 625USD then 2USD will be donated to Garissa.se that helps young girls in eastern Kenya with housing, education and most important help them avoid female genital mutilation.

- Will you allow other Cryptos then AEC to be converted into FIAT?From the start we will not convert other currencys then AEC into FIAT, in the future we might consider adding exchange of other coins.
We might buy other crypto`s in limited amounts to start with, f:ex if we have an investor that want to buy 100
BTC or 1000 litecoin we might put up a temporary buy offer for that exact amount.
- Will you sell any form of products, computer hardware or similar?Not from the beginning but we are in loose discussions with a local company about becoming distributors for Gold, Silver and Platinum bars. A crypto > precious metals exchange service will most likely be available earliest by early autumn after summer vacations.
At the moment it is low priority on the to-do list but we are aware of that this would be an attractive option for some customers.
- Will the exchange be run by the team as private persons or by a company.It will of course be run by a company, we have together invested 100000SEK into a joint stock company (Aktiebolag) on top of investments in hardware, renting a small office, internet connection etc.
We have other possible investors maybe willing to take part in this adventure with us, in a worst case scenario we will use our own resources like apartments, cars and savings funds as collateral to get temporary bank loans.

- Will i be able to solo mine?Yes! But we dont recommend it unless you have some serious hashing power at your disposal.
- Will i be able to CPU mine.No and maybe, there is no support for a setgenerate command and the custom miner dont have CPU support, it is not impossible that someone writes and release a CPU miner in the future.
- Will the custom miner have NVIDIA support or be AMD only?The custom miner will support both AMD and NVIDIA cards.
We can not guarantee that it will be 100% optimised on release but it will be fully functional, optimisation of the miner have high priority and there is also a bounty.
- Why do you buy your own coins and trade them for FIAT? Because the coins will be put back on the open market or sold to investors or traded against f:ex Bitcoins and
then sold to investors. We will make money mainly of the exchange fee`s and act as local agents for other looking to invest in Bitcoin or alternative cryptocurrencys.
