One was wager 10 BTC and receive 0.05 BTC.  This influenced my decision to play there.

I know that the house edge is 1.76%.  My probable loss would be 0.176 Bitcoin after wagering 10 BTC.

I wagered 7 Bitcoin with 3 Bitcoin left to go.

LuckyBit then reduced the 0.05 BTC to 0.005 BTC without warning or notification and then claimed it was well within their rights to take it as it was "free money".

I argued that playing towards a requirement costs money with a 1.76% house edge.

I tried to bring this dispute up and instead of answering all my questions, I was banned. 

They claim that they can change whatever they want at any time.  This includes depositing and cashout requirements. 

I ask the community their thoughts and opinions on the matter and believe that this may warrant a scam accusation or at least a red warning to others.

Do you read the rules of there bonus before you play? Some casino always indicate a note that they can change rules without further notice and they always use that same statement over and over to dodge some payout from a legit player. I'm not a player on luckybit but they are here for a long time without a problem. A further screenshot of your conversation will help to understand further the situation before we act accordingly.

I think changing the rules is quite complicated. They cannot just change the rule once you have already received the bonus.
That would then only be for new bonuses. And there will probably not be a constant policy for a payout.

@OP, did you try to connect with them through the forum before shooting this here? I believe not. Anyways, they're available here daily, ask them to come over here to explain the situation and see what actually happened. If something comes as a possibility for you, you'll surely be entertained. And one more thing, yes it's in their control to decide and change the terms whenever and however they can "IF AND ONLY IF" it was written in their terms "which you accepted already" before playing there. You can't do anything if they had it written that they can change the conditions of the bonus to whatever and however they'd like because it is free money. I also know about the bonus you're talking about and very well aware of it.

I'm not taking anybody's side, not coming on any conclusions till luckybit comes here and put their part.

After reading the terms, then you can come back and read what has happened to this user. Long story short, Luckybit lowered the achievements this past week. Many abusers creating multiple accounts to cheat the site, as well as btc price rising, the site decided to make an adjustment in the achievement prizes. Luckybit also added new promotions where users can earn quite a decent amount of BTC through the rakeback weekend kinda trying to offsetting the change in the prizes offered via achievements.

This user has not made a deposit since September. He really has no reason to complain about not getting free money, but he feels he is correct even though the terms state they can be changed at any time. None of the the prizes offered in the achievements section are guaranteed to stay the amount they are now. The site may increase or decrease them at their discretion.

The user was banned for continuing to not accept the decision that was made and keep trying to argue with the moderators. It was not for disputing anything.

Luckybit was not acting malicious in changing the achievements. They don't sit back and watch everyone wager and say, "oh shit this guy is close to getting an achievement, we better change the prizes". Like I said already, the guy hadn't made a deposit since September and was not actively trying to clear anything. He is just looking for an opportunity to try and squeeze money out of a site IMO, and is upset that they are not caving.

Yes, I do believe he may have deleted his comment.

For one, he outright lied about the reason of banning.  He claims "The user was banned for continuing to not accept the decision that was made and keep trying to argue with the moderators. It was not for disputing anything." yet in this screenshot, you can clearly see the reason for the ban being "Complain about the achievements price going down."

- They had a condition that whoever wagers 10 BTC from that free $20 worth of BTC will get BTC0.05 more as an achievement and can withdraw after just doing 1x (I don't remember wager requirements for this 0.05 BTC but probably the one I mentioned).
- They have stated in their rules that they have the right to increase/reduce the prize money at any point of time, so it's probably not this user alone but may have happened to others too who simultaneously had joined this user in reaching the 10 BTC wagering requirement but are they complaining? That's why I said that it was free money and that BTC0.05 was going to come after this user (may) have met BTC10 wagering requirements fully.

I have nothing to do with free $20 to users.  I did not participate in that.

What I did participate in was that if I wagered 10 Bitcoin, I would receive 0.05 BTC once finished.

I wagered 7 Bitcoin of this 10 Bitcoin and had 3 Bitcoin to go.  There were no mentioned time limits or announcements of changes to this. 

It is NOT free money.  Wagering 10 Bitcoin at a 1.76% house edge results in an average loss of .176 Bitcoin.  This is huge.  0.05 Bitcoin is a huge reduction to that loss which I have already taken on.  By taking it away, you are effectively taking my own money away that I am due back.  Again, it is NOT free money.

I am simply saying that a site should not advertise something that induces betting action only to take it away when they feel it benefits them.

Is it their right?  Given their terms, yes. 

Is it ethical?  NO.  And that's why I suggest everyone not to play there. 

They have the power to cancel or modify any term to their liking and have used that power already.  I believe that is borderline scam territory.

I understand clearly whats happened here. It's funny to me that OP complains as if it was already his money although it was only a reward and he had yet to earn it. Reading subject, it could be concluded that they took his money.

Why not be allowed? Promotions must be ended, so I guess he is not the only one user which filled 70% or maybe 90% of necessary achievement.

When did this happen and since when have you been wagering?
How long have you been a member of luckybit and how many times did you deposit there?
Did you read the terms and conditions before even entering the site?
What if you'd have completed the wagers before the terms were updated? What would have been the problem for luckybit to pay you those 0.05 BTC when they've been in the business since more than 5+ years and none of us ever complained about them?
Did you lose BTC0.176?
Didn't you gain any profits while playing there?

And the most important question, were you banned from playing OR chatting alone? If you're just banned from chatting, why are you trying to defame them when they still allow you to play there?
