What will happen if everyone stop mining diem?
looks like everyone has.. i got some small asics on it and get all the blocks.
That's what the scrypt pool is ment to help with. It will mine scrypt coins and convert them to diem for payout which created transaction fees bringing back the reward for miners. |

Is there a multipool for this yet? The buying pressure would go up with a multipool that would have to buy whatever Diem is being sold at during the "conversion."

I have never closed a thread before. Hey Dev, are you able to add a link to this thread on the front page of the closed one? In big bold letters? If you google for Deimcoin in BCT, you get the old one. I know the link is at the end, but for newcomers maybe it would help to get them over here to the new thread? If you are unable too then no biggie.

Another member pointed out the huge sell wall at 6 satoshi. If whoever put that up is reading this, please consider removing your portion of that wall. People tend to not want to buy into such a big wall so this is counterproductive if you wish to sell.

I definitely think we must prioritize getting a Carpe Diem multipool running that works like the BlackCoin pool -- mining other coins and converting them to DIEM to pay out to the miners.
I wasn't aware of this option until just a few days ago and think it's very smart -- it's worked *very* well for BC and could really help DIEM too.

Hey, sorry for the silence, but I'm still around!! Here's the latest info on the pool, straight from the guy working on it Switching is working. Profit is pulling data from Polo for all configured coins - just need to plumb in the current difficulty and rewards and then it's off to the races. I plan to hold long term - this has the potential to drive up demand for DIEM the way that blackcoinpool has. I just registered the domain carpediempool.com as well. Sounds like we are getting really close!! Remember, the advantage DIEM will have price-wise to BC is that we have 0 new coins coming in. There is no PoS to keep driving prices back down |
