I agree with the statement from Jake Paul, the younger brother of Logan Paul, it seems that his brother was careless in choosing his boxing opponent.
Even boxing legend Mike Tyson warned of the horror of Floyd Mayweather Jr. Even Conor McGregor and Tenshin Nasukawa were defeated by Mayweather.
This is a battle whose outcome is already known, there was no way Logan Paul could beat Mayweather. I don't know if Logan Paul is looking for popularity

The only risk for Logan here is if he will be seriously injured in the fight, I think both parties have talk about this possibility too and I believe they will insure that no one will be seriously injured in the fight as this is just an "exhibition fight".

You nailed  it, that's likely the scenario, Mayweather can KO Logal Paul in a seconds if he will make it serious, but for the sake of entertainment, he can prolong this fight and will not seriously hurt Logan Paul. It's just hilarious that some even think Logan Paul has a good chance of winning.

It just proves that Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is promoting the fight, every kid who watches boxing knows that Floyd Mayweather does not have the power to knockout anyone  . I admire the defensive boxing skills of Mayweather and he is the best in the history of boxing to display that level of skills but for Tyson to warn about the horrors is funny  .

If I remember correctly the odds for Mayweather in Betnomi is 1.01 I really can't tell if this match is worth placing bet for. Though we can assure that Mayweather would definitely the winner of this match the only event is just 1x2.

It's for fun so if you want to make money from this match, the odds won't be favoring you.

But just as those chance takers say, there are what ifs for Logan Paul. What if he get to knock and have a lucky punch for Floyd, then he'll win. As said, it's all what if and there is no security with those.

Ever since Mayweather announced his retirement all his fight was not for the sake of his fans and he once publicly said if the money is not good he wont be interested in fighting. Besides, if this fight was for the fans sake i believe Pacman will be his opponent not Logan Paul.

There is no way Floyd Mayweather is coming out of retirement to fight Manny Pacquiao as he always test the patience of the boxing world with his antics. The only possibility is when Manny retires we might hear a call out from Floyd just to tease the fans  .

Just look at the fighting career of Floyd Mayweather, he was avoiding Manny Pacquiao for a long time and then came to an agreement to fight Manny when he thought he will be retiring after the fight as he knew that it could be a big money fight and the fans finally had the opportunity to watch that fight after almost a decade of wanting to see them fight and Mayweather recently said he will not fight Manny again in a professional bout.

No. You have to consider that there's no weight classification here. Logan Paul is fighting against a former pound for pound king.

The age is nothing on that matter, especially against Mayweather.

I thought this man already retired from boxing, yet I hear news that he's going to fight with Logan Paul. You're certain that in his old age wouldn't be good for him specially an aging conditions. Hopefully he'll be able to manage well, since his opponent is a bit younger compared to him. If given chance on this fight he'd still used same skills from his previous fights.

That's part of why this is an exhibition match I think its fully considered medically as a risk but does Floyd take hard hits like that regularly.   If he is avoiding the majority of hits to the head then he can keep going as long as the money is there to collect.    If he really gets the crap kicked out of him and is on the ropes several times or KO its time to reconsider but either way he gets enough money here to never be forced to do anything that would impede his health and I doubt he would.  I think he is just fine and it would be a giant upset for him to take any real beating on this.

That's pennies for him, it would be interesting to learn where you got the information about his fee. For someone who earns $280M against Mcgregor, he isn't that desperate to take offers that low. The PPV alone will get him more than $10M, you;d have to wonder how low will Logan get if its just $10M for Floyd.

Just imagine, having one round match and you would be paid a certain $10M, which is $5M as far as I know, and a share with the PPV payments. Yeah, Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather has long been retired from boxing but Floyd "Money" Mayweather hangs around doing circus act for a hefty fee lol. Money Mayweather doesn't have to showcase his skills here, all he need to do is to be present during fight night to collect the fee.

Yes, I agree with you, they have a die hard fans and Logan Paul has a big number of followers in his youtube channel.
22.7 million as of the moment, I don't know if it has increase because of this fight, but it's a big number even if 10% of that will buy the PPV.

It is not that is unaffordable if somehow they decide to make it more expensive it is a matter of simply not being worth your money, while that price is cheap I can think of at least 5 ways to spend that kind of money and get way more entertainment than the hour that I could get from watching an amateur fighter and a Floyd Mayweather that is not serious at all about this fight, so while a boxing fan could watch it just because I have no intention to do so if the price is too high.

LOL.. so they are pricing it at $89.99 per PPV buy? It looks quite overpriced for me. The match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather in 2015 was available for almost the same rates. I don't know whether they will get 3 million buys this time, as they are expecting. But I have already made the decision, and I am neither going to watch it, or make a bet on any of the boxers.
