I have/had almost 12000 Blackcoin on Cryptorush since last week. I don't care I was unable to trade for 24 hours, but I would be pissed if it's gone.
Did anybody get any compensation on ZEIT?

Just to back up our claims that balances were lost, some random guy made this tweet about getting 140k blackcoin earlier. https://twitter.com/cryptsypumped/status/448161531335675904Wanted to clarify something else too, about us not having a check for negative balances. Nobody had a negative balance at all, people had a higher balance which is not negative. We've learned a lot from these events, perhaps if we had top notch bullet proof integrity checks we could have prevented it or at least minimised damage. But even so, we don't have these issues with the rest of our coins that are trading perfectly fine.

I was also getting the same issue trying to withdrawl btc for hours. I ended up trading for btcs and then made a withdrawl of btcs instead and it worked. Im assuming you could do the same with another coin.

I don't think I can do business with them after this until they take the site down and relaunch with all the needed features/security Atleast they finally removed this from their ToS Not sure that was ever legal.

Trying to blame this on blackcoin dev is a joke. Why doesn't any other exchange have the same problem?
The getbalance "account" API is a known problem for many POS coins, and if you run an exchange without knowing this you're incompetent.

Bye, cryptorush.
And possibly BC too. What a MtGox "txn malleability" excuse you have OP. Blaming the protocol or devs when your piece of shit site allows negative withdrawls. GTFO this because you're terrible at it.

Can you please acknowledge all of the people having an issue with BTC withdrawals?Thank you This. They will only say "its working and you have to keep retrying" when clearly ITS NOT. Obviously something is up at CR.

There was obviously a bug in the blackcoin software.
But, I can't believe that a users balance has no checks or verification apart from the coin daemon.
So in effect the entire exchange is relying 100% on third party software which in some cases has not been tested nor reviewed.
WOW. it s not surprising that these problems keep coming up.
I am gutted at the BC loss, and while I agree the dev made a mistake, he did not steal anything.
The exchange is based on a flawed design.

You don't have top notch integrity checks? You run an exchange with other peoples money, without good integrity checks, why should anyone trust you at all? Glad I've never left any balance on your exchange.

POLONIEX GOT HACKED WITH 49 BTC NOT LONG AGO.
THEY RAISED THE TRANSACTION FEES TO REPAY THOSE BITCOINS, AND IT WORKED, AND EVERYONE IS HAPPY.
TRANSPARENT EXCHANGE: POLONIEX.
I EMAILED CRYTPTORUSH WITH THE SOLUTION, RAISE A BIT TO REPAY THE STOLEN COINS.
NO ANSWER YET.
MAKES SENSE?

if I remember well there is something called monitoring in IT. some stuff that sends alerts on threshold apparently... Some even use it to have automatic actions when an alert is raised.

I'm sorry - I just read this whole thing and there's something I don't understand: Can someone competent explain how # blackcoind sendfrom <account> <address> <amount> could continue to work if the total wallet balance was negative? Was the daemon just generating fake coins and sending them? Or what? There are instances where getbalance shows a negative amount on individual accounts in Bitcoind as well, that's not unusual. On Sapphire we don't rely on accounts for individual users, and rather just check getreceivedbyaddress against the known prior deposits for a given address (which we assign to one user). What would be very unusual is if the total amount in the wallet was negative, and the daemon was still allowing coins to be sent. Am I to take it that's what happened here? Or am I misreading that chat somehow?
