Slovenia-Croatia was really interesting, yes. Croatia actually played much better after conceding the goal but they couldn't manage to score.
France surprised me very much by not being able to defeat Ukraine. It was actually an easy match for them but they were terrible on finding the target (3/18).
Serbia-Ireland was a great match. Serbia made an awesome comeback and managed to defeat them 3-2.

I watched match between Slovenia and Croatia.
Honestly, it was a really hard to watch, boring match without much excitement and action.
Croatia put pressure on Slovenia's defence and attacked but had no solution on how to break slovenian defence and score.
It is already known that Croatia has problems in small matches against opponents who are just defending.
France probably just had a bad day and I believe Serbia is on track to return to the top of world football with a new coach.

We do also have Norway in the group, and Montenegro might snatch a draw against Turkey or the Netherlands.
But some matches do seem pointless... what is the purpose of having Gibraltar in a group? It's likely they'll end the campaign with zero points. Far better to have weaker teams play off against one another to see who then goes into a smaller group with the big teams. This would also improve fixture congestion for the big teams.

Turkey was something expected for the people who have watched them. There could be a lot of people who were shocked about this game, but if you watched them on the euro 2020 qualifiers you would know that they were as good as this game showed and that's why there was nothing that we should be shocked about this game as well. I am not saying that it should be expected for them to win, but it should not be unexpected for them to win neither.

I do not care if you think Netherlands were a great team or whatever, turkey managed to beat the last champions, if they are good enough to beat the best team, that means they are good enough to beat any team. My prediction is that Turkey will qualify from Group G yesterday's victory made the players more confident against Norway,  Norway is one of Turkey's competitors so the result of this match will clarify Turkey's move in Group G. At least the draw was enough for Turkey in the next match because the next opponent is not that strong.

What is the point of all these good memories, if they can't qualify? Ideally they should be able to qualify after getting such a good start. No one really thought that they had a chance against the Dutch. But they managed to beat them by a big margin. Norway is not as strong as Netherlands and the other teams are below Turkey as far as the FIFA ranking is concerned. They should be able to qualify in normal circumstances.

I'm taking Romania to win as I know my country players very well and in the last period our team has grown so much lately more than previous generation in 10 years so I would expect Romania to win against Macedonia with at least 2 goals difference. Another game that I like is Sweden to win both halves but I'm still thinking if this is the right play ...and regarding the big teams like Italy,Spain etc I would avoid those just because of what France did last night.

I agree with you that Romania could easily beat Macedonia, because in terms of quality Romanian players are better. Likewise Sweden will win the match
easily against Georgia, I see Georgia is not a difficult opponent for Sweden. Regarding big teams like Italy, Spain, England, and Germany, it is still interesting

Turkey had the home advantage and with all the COVID 19 restrictions and bio-secure bubble requirements, the visitors can have a tough time to adjust. And anyone who watched yesterday's match would agree with the fact that Turkey played really well. Statistics would tell you another story, as Netherlands had 65% possession. But the simple fact is that Turkey was the better team out of the two yesterday.

BTW, today we have some exciting matches. Does anyone think that Iceland will be able to upset Germany? Also Italy will be facing Northern Ireland. Both Iceland and Northern Ireland are famous for defeating stronger opponents.
