But, the Worlds will take place in the middle of the next season, where other players can emerge in better shape and start to look different.
And Argentina has a lot of players playing for the best European clubs, so everything could be different from what we saw last season.

Argentina has never had a shortage of star-branded players, but sadly they could never speak more at this biggest football festival. Their problem is in the defense if you look at the previous years. But now their condition is better, they can even make achievements lately. This will be a good capital for them to fight in the Qatar World Cup.

I agree that France is currently underperforming in the last few matches especially in the European Cup, I think this time it will be different from the performance in the last few matches.  After all, France has a lot of talented players and a winning mentality.  I'm sure France can enter the semi-finals and maybe qualify as champions.  We agree for the English team, but at least England has the potential to qualify for the big 8 round.

Messi will be playing his best for this world cup as it's probably going to his last opportunity to grab this cup for Argentina.
A similar story appears with Cristiano Ronaldo, for Portugal.
Both are excellent players but both have failed to win the world cup for their country. This is their chance.

We need to remember is that this is going to be a different world cup. I believe that there is a huge probability that Argentina will win the 2022 World Cup. The Euro 2022 proved that the team that will come together can do amazing things. The tournament is just one month and everything has to be perfect for one month but you need to start the tournament with the right foot. This team has the talent, and have shown the grit and strength that will take off some of the burden off of Messi. This team isn’t Messi dependent. They have arguably the best goalie that Argentina have had in Martinez. A solid midfield who will also fight to get the ball back. And an above average defense that has a mixture of youth and experience. They might not be the best team right now but they have the structure, togetherness, are tactically powerful and experienced.

There are a lot of teams that are better than Argentina lining up for this world cup. Personally, I find it very difficult to believe Argentina will win the Euro 2022 World Cup. It seems that in this case I want to criticize Deschamps' performance now.

This is why I believe that we shouldn't be expecting Argentina to win, this isn't a league, it's a tournament and there bound to be at least one game where Messi will play bad, and that's when they will end up losing and getting eliminated.

In World Cup everything is possible although I am not expecting much from the Argentinian team. The group stage is relatively easy. There is Poland that seems challenging, then there is Mexico that might be annoying and Saudi that never passed this stage tho. Getting the first place is a must to guarantee passing the round of 16 then it is a matter of luck and skills. Luck if they face easier opponents or a top team that isn't in its day. Skills if they are mostly ready for each games without injuries.
Overall I don't see speculation about that in general, World Cup isn't a normal tournament like CONMEBOL where you have to collect points, it is either you are ready for every single match or you are out!

if you think brazil is the best i think the difference in point of view is a natural thing especially in the choice of favorites who will compete in the qatar world cup, i think the statistics of the last match of the two are not too much difference, even though brazil has only drawn three times in the statistics of the match, the match between Brazil and Argentina ended in a draw but the ball possession was controlled by Argentina. 
i think messi and the whole argentina squad will play to the best of their ability in the qatar world cup to reach the title, and i believe that.

@hahay initially I thought that it would be England who would have a good chance of winning it, but currently I feel that it’s either Brazil or Argentina only one of them can win it. @Sithara007 about Messi we’ll have to see how he performs for PSG this season, because it’ll give us an idea as to how he’ll be performing at the World Cup and personally I see Argentina till the semis at least, but what about others anyone feeing that they’ll make it to the finals?.
