If we see an opponent like this then surely Argentina will go through to the next round, but when I consider winning the title I am not very sure. Because even, representatives from South America in my view Brazil is the best team because even though Brazil and Argentina are both unbeaten but Brazil still has a better winning record than Argentina during the qualifying round. With a record like that, although this is the last chance for Messi but still, Argentina is not the best in this world cup event.

Well... no one claimed that Argentina is the best team at the world cup. Without an argument, Brazil has the highest chances of winning the cup this time around. What favors Argentina is the recent form and presence of Lionel Messi. And since it is probably his last world cup, I am sure that the Argentine team would give their best attempt. I think it will be very difficult for Argentina to win the world championship title, but of course they have a chance.
Messi and his teammates were considered losers after losing 2 South American Championship finals and the 2014 World Cup final.

With current circumstances and on papers we can't predict who is going to win in November at Qatar because all will be happened at ground and here just we have few suggestions or views about our teams. Every one is going to talk about his favourite team and there is no doubt we have few good squads and very good units in this event with Brazil and Argentina are also from these teams with having some chances but like we are watching in last two decades European teams are dominating, and South American teams are on decline which is also having some impact on this event as well, so any result can happen with any strong team can win like Brazil, Argentina, France and England all are in good shape.

Brazil almost never dropped out of the top-5 teams in the last 2-3 decades. But the same can't be said about Argentina. They are more volatile in terms of form, at least when compared to Brazil. All that said, this time they have sent a very strong side to Qatar. It is well balanced and although Messi will be leading the attack the other players are also quite capable. And from what we have seen in Copa America, the team bonding has remained exceptional. A little bit of luck, and they will lift the trophy for the first time after 1986.

In terms of the individual quality of the players, it is indeed very good therapy if you look at the quality of individuals like this, it is clear that there are a lot of qualified national teams such as France, Belgium, Brazil and even Portugal and England.
There are a lot of qualified players from every team and indeed it's not just Argentina so looking at the quality of the individual it's still too hasty to say they are in the final.

In group matches, most chances they will stay at top and this is going to be good for them with this they can face which will second in their group which is also good advantage for them Argentina is mostly having good results in early stages, but they mostly feel problem in last stages where mostly quality teams need to give their best they usually dropped which is having big issue for them in last few years but with current squad they can do some better and have chance to go through into last four which is also good but as for Messi they need to win which is also possible but still need good work and better team combination.

Few players are at their best in club games but still need to do work at national level which is very important for winning titles.

As for Messi being the captain of the team, it certainly provides a good motivation but until now for the world cup title I don't see anything more than him.
