My opinion is that altcoins have just started to move. Advertising moves with Dogecoin only caught the attention of users. And now those who do not believe in confident further Doge's growth will look for other coins. So I think all the interesting things lie ahead.

Yes is good time to buy altcoins. I look at mostly defi project for near future since I think they have best possibility to grow this year. With investments in them my portfolio has grown x3 last month or so.

The BTC has made history today  and broke its all time high record. It is currently trading around $ 20500 to 20600. BTC Dominance Index is around 65% which is very High. I personally think that it is the Right time to take entry in Good Alt coins ( Ranking from 2 to 20 on coinmarketcap). I believe that History of 2017 will be repeated soon. We will soon witness Huge rally in Alts. It should happen when BTC will stabilize around current levels and BTC dominance Index comes down to below 60%.

As we finally into a bullish year and it is just starting so time is good to buy some good qlts and then hold for few months to rake the most out of the big bull season and make decent profits out of the market. Personally i will be taking just partial profit and then keep riding the bullish wave.

It's probably a good time to buy an altcoin when the coin is a dump or down to 20% or even more but in altcoins, it is just mostly for short-term investment and not really for the long term. But at least you should know the altcoins season and know when the time to exit your investment because there is a time where early comers are gonna exit the market from its ATH it could go down to its lowest market price or reset its price again depending on the certain phase. Don't be greedy and don't invest in an altcoin that already at its peak because it's probably going to resets its price or do some correction.

It's interesting if Elon will still be the same after months to years. And with what you see to altcoins market today, they're dropping down. That's a good sign for those who are wanting to buy because they see the alts are pumping.

for me i will buy altcoins or not its depends on several conditions mate
first, the altcoins price on strong support zone in technical analysis
then, fundamentally a good updates coming to the project, and create a good demands to push the price up

from what i can see, some coins have reached their new ATH. So, if you are sure of some altcoin development you are looking for, it might just be a good choice. however, I suggest doing some research for now. however, it all depends on the coin you choose. Personally, I will choose the popular coins for now.

To me, I believe there is still room for Alts to grow some more with regards to price considering the speculation of what cryptocurrencies will do this year 2021, so I would look into the most developed well-established Alts projects in the crypto space to invent in with a long term intention.  I understand most investors want to limit to the top 100 coins but I believe even beyond that, we still have good Alts projects that will do 10x from now, just DYOR.

If you ask now is certainly not the right time to buy it. I think people don't want to be trapped in a time of high prices like these. myself when I am bullish now prefer futures trading. this can benefit quickly. we use technical scalping for maximum results and have stop losses. instead of having to invest in altcoins which are currently in an uptrend. 2017 becomes a lesson for me not stuck fomo market

If I were you, I would not encourage you to enter futures trading when you should look at the growth and fall of the market, the percentage is very high for bitcoin and altcoins and just one mistake, you will burn your balance even if you only use a low leverage, futures trading is only suitable when the market is stable and relatively volatile, not FOMO as it is now. Right now, we should just wait or put some money into altcoins that have not yet risen, don't touch the rockets that go up high

Although the price of many altcoins has already multiplied, I believe there is still a good time to pick the top altcoins that still have high potential. You will definitely benefit if you invest in high potential altcoins, especially the top altcoins.

The prices may increase further but you are not going to get multi x returns from now I believe. By that I don't mean to say that the bull run is over I think we will continue the upward trend for the next 5 to 6 months.
