I have different perspective with you, in fact between bitcoin and altcoin (just in the top rank) have the same characteristin in the movement price. Most altcoin price which I'm analyzing will just move rely on bitcoin price movement.

As you can see, two days ago almost altcoin price were increasing because bitcoin had been able to passed the $20.000 barrier. I haven't seen an altcoin that increasing a lot and even reach its new all time high when bitcoin is not increase. Just wondering, as your perspective which altcoin that is promising to be choose as an investment instead of bitcoin? which altcoins are not as volatile as bitcoin?

It could have been better if you list some of the altcoin you are interested in buying here so that you can get different view about your prospective portfolio. During the bull run in 2017, alot of altcoin also rise as investors also throw money to buy many of this altcoin. When the bitcoin price fell below 10k, all the altcoin was bleeding. Today bitcoin has set another ATH but most of the altcoin that witness price drop have never reach their ATH when bitcoin is already setting another ATH. If you bought many of this altcoin then you will understand my point. Unless you are interested in altcoin such as ETH, I cannot vouch for you that many altcoin will also bullish

Only stable coins are less volatile than bitcoin. Buy them and hold them forever.

I'm pretty sure you know that Altcoins are just following Bitcoin right? so if Bitcoin's bubble explodes and so the Alts, unless they are stable which I think investing in the stable coin wouldn't get you anything. Besides, I don't think that investing in altcoins is the safest option, I mean yeah there are good alts to invest in like ETH but if you pertain to a random alts in the market then I don't think so. Moreover, to be truth altcoins are more volatile than Bitcoin which is why they are much riskier compared to it.

I believe you have reason for saying that you are not going to invest in Bitcoin now, maybe due to the present volatity of it. But I think this is the best time to invest massively in BTC and watch it closely. I can assure you that you are going to take profit in coming month. Imagine if you invest  in BTC a month ago, whose price was around $18,000, you would have made additional $5,000 plus right now. Think about it, if you invest 100BTC, you will be talking about 100*5,000=$500,000 dollars now. In less than 2 months.

If that's the case that you're worrying about the bubble burst for bitcoin, it's your analysis to the market but I don't see that it will happen the soonest. Investing in altcoin is riskier than what you can ever think of bitcoin. You're thinking that investing in bitcoin is risky but once it corrects, it will recover quickly.

But who knows when a wise man may become foolish?
Yeah it’s no doubt that the price of the coin is touching the sky right now but still people have hope that the price will rise and for that they reason they are still buying the Holy Coin.
Moreover and due to these activities the price of the coin is increasing in a rocket speed.
So if you don’t want to Gamble with high risk while trading then it’s better to stick with the altcoins and be on safer side.

Well, that is your decision if you want to stay with altcoin than bitcoin. But you should wait for the unknown time to sell your altcoin because we do not know when altcoin price will increase. But I believe that the altcoin time will come soon, and if you have many potential altcoins, I am sure that you will make a profit in bitcoin or usdt. That's only if you picked up the right altcoins and you are patient enough, at the moment Bitcoin dominance is increasing which means there's way more interest in buying Bitcoin even though it has a huge increase lately without any considerable price correction.

So I think still buying Bitcoin in short-term is a better idea, since if Bitcoin goes down then altcoins will have a decrease not only in USD value but they lose satoshi value as well, in other words they will lose way more USD than Bitcoin on a downtrend, so if you're in bitcoin and it is going for a correction you can still lose less percentage of USD and at the same time you can catch those nice dips on BTC pairs.

That's what OP don't understand about this industry, Bitcoin price always determine the price of the altcoins except those that are affiliated with pump and dump groups projects. Frankly, the volatility of Bitcoin from the beginning of this year was normal becasue it price was good as stable but this recent bullish made many thing about Bitcoin to make as usual a dump (correction): investment into Bitcoin now could be a potential danger than the altcoins, but they're all the same as the fall of Bitcoin give the fall of altcoins.
