How much btc do you need to secure your future?

Reaching 1 bitcoin will be the closest target bitcoin amount that we want to get, although to get that 1 bitcoin, we need to try so hard to make every satoshi in many ways. And if we already have 1 bitcoin, we will increase our target to have bitcoin such as 5 bitcoin, 10 bitcoin, or more. We will not stop making more bitcoin because I am sure we will make it happens.

I want to make more than just 10 bitcoin or more. The more bitcoin I have, the more secure my future, especially if the bitcoin price can increase and jump to the highest price. No matter how long I will need to have that bitcoin, I will keep trying until I can have so many bitcoins in the future.

No one can be certified with what he has, referring to amount or how much btc human can have and be comfortable, the answer is indefinite btc, because even though we have ten thousands btc I don't really think that human will be contented with it, what really matters is satisfaction in terms of needs, from my perspective and observation, future can't be predicted related to our needs, because the availability of what we have at early stage does not determine our future, what matters is the ability to control what we have.

If we are to answer this question during the beginning of bitcoin, we'll say that we would need millions of bitcoin to secure our future. Now, if we're going to consider the price of bitcoin, we can say that having a thousand of bitcoin would be more than enough already to secure your future. Even though that's the case, we should still be open to the possibilities that bitcoin's value may either fall or keep on rising in the future. Regardless of that chances, if you have faith on bitcoin, just keep on earning some and never stop, it will surely be worth it in the end.

In our country, if you gained at least ONE bitcoin, you can already live freely and get the personal necessity that you need. You can also even create your own business if you want to and there will be no one stopping you. I already know users within our country that only secured at least 0.5btc and managed to create their own house which is pretty cool. That is why I also hope to at least get or earn bitcoins as much as possible because it will surely be a great help for me in the future specially if bitcoin grew significantly in the future.

Well, I think 1 or 2 if I would just hold it and wait for X years to let it grow but if you are referring to this now, as in now. Well, it all depends where you live because just like what you've said, first world countries might need more Bitcoin compared to the third world countries. And I don't think having much Bitcoin or money does mean securing your future because, you will never know what would happen to us in the future. I would say, be always prepared and expect the unexpected.

It depends in my opinion not very much in what country person lives, but on his or her demands or expectations from life. On his goals. Someone needs Bitcoins for making level of life higher - for buying flat, or just for food, another person wants to increase his profit or make own business. For me personally it would be great to have got 5 -7 Bitcoins)

Thats too much even if you do live in 1st world countries. $20M  would really be enough or too much already for most people but if you are really planning to have some lavish or extravagant life then this amount would
really be too much but we know that human beings are inborn greedy so it isnt surprising.

Why would go for less if you can go more. Right? In our lives we do only hope and wish for the best of things that will satisfy on what we do have in mind. Lots of money where you can buy all you want
and able to secure out your future and to your family.

For me 10 btc will be sufficient, its just a matter on how you gonna wisely spent those.

Even those top Nigerian polithieftians are likely not to have that type of cash stolen from the government. That's >$1,425,000, then multiply it with the naira. That's very huge. Well, I think any discerning and business oriented person in my country will secure their future with 3-5btc thrown at them at the current level. For me, that's all I need.

You're absolutely right, but not just for myself alone, if this be realizable then my first generation won't beg the government to survive. You might look at this 50BTC big for an individual but probably not for my first generation, the 2-3BTC won't be of help in anyway to my first generation. Those polithieftians don't usually stole for themselves but both for their generations unborn, maybe after this post God will make this 50BTC deposit into my future wallet  .

Do you understand the fact that only 21 million coins will be mined before 2140? If everyone need 50 BTC to secure their future, then it would mean that less than half a million people would be able to do so. And considering the fact that the world population is 7 billion plus, this will amount to less than 0.01% of the humanity. IMO, 1 BTC should be enough in the long term.

When you retire, there are chances that the price maybe extremely low which you forgot to take into consideration. It is always better to keep "alternatives" that will help you secure your future. Don't put everything in bitcoin.
Saving a portion while investing rest in bitcoin and accumulating over time will probably give you a secure future.

The only way the price of bitcoin getting a much lower valuation would be if these institutional investors find another alternative to pump the market which is highly unlikely and the bitcoin market is a pure speculative market and the market usually rallies every four years after halving and that is the trend that is following the market for a decade and i do not see any change anytime soon.

As per securing the future it depends upon your life style and individual aspiration on what they want to do in life and it will change with every individual.

For me as long as you can accumulate for the future the better. Don't limit the amount you want to achieve if you can still gain more, you're not just securing your future but also for your next generations.
Not anyone is able to buy bitcoin so if you have some spare money and can afford to buy some then do it.
Even rich people who's future is already secured still buy bitcoin, that reason is enough for you to accumulate while you can.

People keep on trying to make an earning out of bounties. The days of bounties were over, now we aren't able to make a big earning out of bounties. It depends, is the story of HODLERS true or not? Is bitcoin digital gold? Will it be more than that? Might some countries with garbage currencies adopt it as their own currency? Unlikely, but who knows.... The US likes to control people, will they ban possession or just regulate it so much to the point Americans will be out of the game? Possible.. The most optimistic scenarios would entail most of the world using bitcoin, at least the developed world anyway. In that case even having a single bitcoin would make you wealthy. Heck I would say in that pie in the sky scenario (but who knows, never say never) a tenth of a bitcoin could make you part of the 1%. If bitcoin is digital gold and people will be moving out of metals and into bitcoin, that's ten trillion in the gold market alone that could be moving into BTC. Multiply BTC by 20 and I think that's reasonable (optimistic of course but not crazy) in today's dollar terms. So a little over 500k a bitcoin. Again there's no guarantee this happens, but it could. In the third world you would probably need one to retire on, in the US, Europe or expensive Asian countries probably need 4 to retire comfortably.

If you want to be on the safe side I wouldn't retire until you have land and property that can tide you over and the BTC is the icing on the cake.

I doubt if we can determine how much we need to secure our future. In fact, people should collect as many as they can to secure their future. On the other hand, the number depends on the person and his goal. If someone has no big goal, he doesn't need many BTC for his future. While if someone expects much on his future, he must hope for a big number of BTC. 10 BTC probably doesn't fulfill his expectation.
