Trading is a quick way to make money but just like gambling, it can lead to huge loses, you'll need to pay absolutely attention to the market more than it is required of an investor. It is a process of holding for a short term. I wouldn't say trading pays off better rather would I say investment pays off too, it solely depends on the individual involved and the market structure at the time the purchase is made. If you want to make more cash at a short period and you're able to study the charts accurately,then go for trading if not, go for investment.

Trading has an advantage over investing at a limit. Because trading gives more chances to rise your money. But at the same time, you can also get losses also. But this is said "No risk no gain".The person who knows to take risks is always successful in life.
But it is also a fact that investor also gets good profit on some time. Especially when the market rises the investor & and stalker earn good money. In reality, This also depends on the luck that you will earn or lose through trading or investing.

I agree that taking profits in trading is faster than investing. We even can earn a profit every day if we do a day-trade.
