Trading is a quick way to make money but just like gambling, it can lead to huge loses, you'll need to pay absolutely attention to the market more than it is required of an investor. It is a process of holding for a short term. I wouldn't say trading pays off better rather would I say investment pays off too, it solely depends on the individual involved and the market structure at the time the purchase is made. If you want to make more cash at a short period and you're able to study the charts accurately,then go for trading if not, go for investment.

Trading has an advantage over investing at a limit. Because trading gives more chances to rise your money. But at the same time, you can also get losses also. But this is said "No risk no gain".The person who knows to take risks is always successful in life.

I agree that taking profits in trading is faster than investing. We even can earn a profit every day if we do a day-trade. No trading can not take over investment. I have seen that investment has gone to make a huge profit for traders. Trading can't give huge amount of money. Doing trading you can be scary.
