I have followed the price of XRP for some time now as this crypto is what i'm using in betting and i'm hesitant at the moment to use this as this might go to $10 in a few months. What do you think?

During the past few days, XRP had a few legal victories (which is being reflected in the exchange rates). Today Judge Sarah Netburn refused a request from the SEC, to have access to financial data from the XRP promoters (Chris Larsen and Brad Garlinghouse). The judge termed the request from SEC as an "overreach". But this is bad news for decentralized cryptocurrencies such as BTC and ETH. SEC had argued that coins such as ETH doesn't come under the Section 5 of the Securities Act, since no individual promoters benefitted from the ICO. But the judge has rejected this argument. And this can create issues for real cryptocurrencies such as BTC in the future.

Maybe because XRP is one of the leading coins in the crypto currency because this coins is rank 4 as of now, thus many people keep buying that coons because of that, maybe they thought that they can make more income if they are going to invest now in the XRP because of its price that still going better.

The statistics of the past are one of the best testimonies of many people's beliefs about buying XRP, even as Ripple sinks into periods where some have predicted it cannot return, Ripple can still break through such very fragile opportunities to return, bad news will lead to devaluation and slide off position rankings but no, XRP doesn't work that way. I agree that the case is not yet settled. But we have already received a fair idea about which direction the judgement will come. SEC has come under severe criticism from the judge and she has sided with the XRP promoters. So in all probability the judgement will be in favor of the XRP team. Now the quesiton is whether SEC will go for further appeals after the judgement is made. I don't expect them to remain quiet, after all the humiliation they went through during the past few weeks.

Though most already learned from their experienced, they are well aware that any moment this coin can be dumped. It's nature

I got disinterested in XRP back in March 2020 when I learned about the 20 XRP wallet minimum. That was a deal breaker for me because it requires people to invest some money that they will never be able to access again. Also, I did not like how XRP is centralized. But now, with the giant lawsuit, why are people still buying?

20 xrp is not a big deal. With such amount of coins, you can access to all of their advantages. Moreover, xrp has a much more lower fee than the 2nd largest crypto - ethereum. 20 xrp is cheaper than a single transaction fee of ethereum network. Think about that.

In addition, One of the few reasons why people are still buying except of the lawsuit the XRP was facing, is the transaction speed and small fees feature that's looks very promising for a lot of investors. Most people took advantage of the cheaper price because of the lawsuit, so it's no surprise why investors are always looking an opportunity to buy cheaper XRP.

People holding this coin have high hopes now that they have heard good news from their SEC battle.
I hope they can surpass this challenge. I participated in SPARK token airdrop last year for all XRP holders, so hopefully, it will push thru.  
People are buying because they are seeing that xrp team seems to be a strong one to continue its battle with SEC.
If they have no sufficient resources, I guess, they already give up this battle.

Well I asked one of my colleagues that was an investor of XRP and he said the reason why he bought that before is because of the low price. Many many people who do not know complex information about cryptocurrency trading simply got into the crypto because of the cheap price. Also the marketing campaigns that were initiated in social media really got many people to get XRP. And many got fooled. They will eventually be losing money, as what happened when XRP crashed before.

Thanks for this information mate. With above info i think this XRP bull run might be temporary as we don't know what would be inside the judge's mind in the coming days/months. She might heed the request of the SEC thus affecting the trade value of XRP in the future.

You maybe right that this is bad for decentralized cryptos like BTC and ETH but there's a long standing argument that Ripple is a centralized cryptocurrency, that maybe the reason why the judge rejected SEC's request.

XRP has a potential, however  some investors are doubtful because XRP had a case against the SEC, other than that, I think XRP is delivering and fulling the expectation of the investors, hopefully, they'll win the case or if not it will not result to a dump of XRP.
