A firm fight date has yet to be established for the bout, which will take place in Inoue’s native Japan. Travel restrictions due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic serve as the main roadblock in officially scheduling the contest, which will mark Inoue’s third defense of the IBF belt and second as a unified titlist.

It's a long waiting for Dasmarinas, who have been the mandatory since 2019, but he has to wait after the WBSS bantamweight tournament. Would love to see Dasmarinas win this, however, I don't think that anyone can beat Inoue at 118 lbs right now, maybe except Casimero

Good solid boxer, south paw (might help to confuse Inoue early), good KO %, but with 2 losses already.

I don't think he has enough tools to beat Inoue at this division right now. He is too strong and his ring IQ is one of the best at bantamweight. But Filipino boxers love to be the underdog so I wouldn't be surprise if Dasmarinas works very hard to pull an upset.
