Ajax haven't achieved anything in the last 3 seasons, specifically the Eredivisie title. The closest they came was last season, when they were just 1 point behind the champions (PSV). The story of the previous 3 seasons will repeat itself this season for Ajax, because 16 points isn't small gap, it's an average of points in 5,33 matches. Eredivisie has now become a farm league for PSV. Ajax & PSV fates are also like sky & earth in the UCL. I don't think there's anything more to expect from Ajax this season.

I agree about Ajax in today game, I lost some good opportunity for having good profit because I was expecting draw odd @4 both teams to score and over 3.5 all happen, but I was not ready for this bet and things gone against me.

In first half, Ajax was playing amazing which surely gave good hope about their performance but in second half they have gone down and out of the match. G. A. Eagles completely displaced them and have 1 point from this game, now PSV and Feyenoord both have good chance of keeping themselves away from them, Ajax surely needs something special which give them consistency and chance of keeping challenging their opponents, today their performance hurts badly to their chances for second spot and their fans as well.

Sparta wins Rotterdam derby at De Kuip for the first time in XXI century. Game ended 3:4, it already looked that it will be drawq after Shaqueel Van Persie (coach Robin Van Persie son) scored 2 goals in 87 and 88 minute, but Sparta managed to score on 90+4 minute.
This resuult means that PSV lead increased to 16 points as they only club from top 3 who won this round after win against Sittard. Expected that Ajax will be angry after humiliation in cup, butthey didn't managed to beat Go Ahead Eagles at home and game ended 2:2

Eredivisie is always having surprises for punters and fans like few days back Ajax after having 2–0 lead surrender and ended with 2–2 against G. A. Eagles, this was shocking but this game Feyenoord vs Sparta Rotterdam have more drama than Ajax game, at the end of 80th minute I was sure they were gone lost.

But in 82nd minute, arrival of 19 years old Shaqueel Van Persie made good draw, he appears in his second game for the Feyenoord and scored 2 quick goals which brought good hope for the draw but injury time goal from the Kitolano gave impressive win to his team and strong chance of staying into UEFA competitions race, this was second goal of the match for the Norwegian star Kitolano.

PSV Eindhoven seems to have secured the title with a very large margin that seems impossible for any team close in on and so it's left for Ajax and Feyenoord to battle it out on who will finish behind PSV, the point difference between the league leaders psv is quite huge which means the title is already go their way, they are the best team in the Netherlands this season with the highest number number of wins way higher than Ajax and Feyenoord and the rest.

With the points gap see that PSV has obviously gotten ahead of the others, it sounds very safe to say that they have possible secured the title this season as compared to every other team. Fryenoord did seemed really proactive with their chase to finishing at that position, but the challenge has been with them been consistent meanwhile Ajax has got that supposed consistency but they have been unable to sustain it and have also in a phase where they suffer too many set backs.

Is wild to see the leaderboard since we saw Ajax recovering pretty fast and they are now only 3 points behind Feyenoord in the second place the main problem from them is...... PSV is so far away in front they dont have a real chance of fight for what Ajax needs to fight every single season which is the title and nothing less than that.

And there we go they made another shit game and drop points against Go Ahead Eagles, is incredible how they manage to reach a way to be more worst than before, plus Feyenoord also lose a no sense games against Sparta, i mean man you cant comeback in a few minutes to lose it in the very last ball of the game.

It's a complete rest on all sides in the league for PSV as they have completed their homework already, but for Ajax and Feyenoord who now contend for who to finish second coupled with their respective inconsistency. This year's Eredivisie is not very competitive. We are already sure that PSV will be the champions. They have won 17  out of  19 matches. They have lost only one match. They are  16 points ahead of second place feyenoord.
But ajax and feyenoord are fighting for the second place in the table. Both teams are  interested in qualifying for the champions league. And the difference between them is only  2 points. I consider feyenoord to be the favorite for the second place in the table. Feyenoord's attack is stronger than Ajax's attack . So in the long run feyenoord has a better chance of doing well.

19 years old Shaqueel van Persie have dramatic entry into this match on 62nd minute, replaced Feyenoord, scored their first goal 64 minutes, but Sparta Rotterdam extended their lead by 1–3 in 71st minute but two quick goals in 87th and 88th minute brought new energy to host club and fans as well.

I was also expecting something more can happen but injury time goal from the Kitolano gave impressive win to Sparta Rotterdam, with this lost now Feyenoord is having 4 matches without winning any while now their difference of points from Ajax is also just 2, this will have some negative impact on their performance in upcoming days as well because now Ajax is also doing good and lifting momentum which will give them good energy for having good performance in upcoming games.

It was against Villareal, currently 3rd in the Spanish league, although they have been doing horribly badly in the Champions League. Anyhow, it was a good game by Ajax, a 2-1 away win is something they can be proud of.
It's their 2nd UCL win in a row (and in total). I could be wrong, but I think they still have a mathematical chance of advancing to the play-off stage if they defeat Olympiacos at home in the last round of the UCL league stage next week.

On the other hand, PSV is on a bit of a decline. They've lost another UCL game, as they got beaten by Newcastle 3-0. PSV is now at risk of dropping out, as their last game won't be easy. They are playing Bayern at home and Bayern are in great shape this season, with only one game lost in all competitions (to Arsenal in the Champions League).

It would be a bit strange to see Ajax advancing further and PSV dropping out, but it's a possibility.

It was a very strange game, not because the game itseld but because the performance of both teams in the Champions League, Villarreal is doing a fantastic job on LALIGA but somehow they are one of the worst teams on the Champions League, and Ajax despite having a not so good league work also made a bad Champions League considering teams like Pafos, Qarabag and a few much more weaker than them made much better champions league season.

Shaqueel Van Persie played very well, he is a talent that can be a star, Feyenoord has done what they can do but their defense is bad, only a few attacks have left many gaps so Sparta can exploit the weaknesses in Feyenoord, even though Feyenoord played a dominant game, they always lost in attacks that were neatly arranged by Sparta's children, Feyenoord must improve themselves, that's right, especially in the defense and midfield, this is still very vulnerable.

PSV were losing and I expected they wouldn't put in much effort in this game because, given their large points advantage in the league compared to other teams, they're focusing more on the Champions League, where they're not doing well. Despite only earning 1 point on NEC, they are still a massive 16 points ahead of the 2nd Ajax, so they can afford themselves to take a more relaxed approach to league games, experiment with different tactics and different players.
I haven't watched the game but looking at the lineups, it looks like PSV gave most of the key players a chance to rest ahead of the clash with Bayern in the Champions League this Wednesday.

Realistically, all the exciting part of the league will centre around Ajax and Feyenoord (and maybe NEC if they keep up) battling for the 2nd place.

The consistency of PSV recently is one which I am really proud of. At the beginning of this season they were not as consistent but as times went on, they began to pose some really nice consistency that they have maintained for the longest and so far it has gradually been getting them to achieving the title which is their primary goal for the season just like every other teams in the league.

Yes, Feyenoord blew their chances of winning the title this season. They started really strong but couldn't maintain the consistency as the season started to heat up and the wins and 3points became much more harder to get.
With regards to PSV, I think they would get back to winning ways soon even though they won't do that well in the UCL league phase.
