@ico-services, alt of @poutintsev?

Earlier today ico-services shared an article in which author claims that blockchain employee is changing 2FA and stealing funds etc. What caught my attention is the creator of the article, who recently wrote pretty shitty article about bitcointalk. Dunno why but I decided to check his posting history which made me believe that this is an alt account of poutintsev, author of the article.

First of all, lets start with poutintsev who has an interesting bitcointalk history, to say the least:

• Promoting ANN bumping group
• Buying high ranking accounts
• Advisor on various scam ICOs

Now lets move on why I think that this is his alt account:

1. Majority of his activity is in the threads made by poutintsev, which he usually shills. Even his first post ever was made just after he created account, to defend poutintsev article. Like poutsintsev he also doesn't like merit & trust systems.

Did you even read the article? It says you should not start your own ICO, if you have no money!

I suggest people to read this.

For example Bitcointalk failed at doing their Merit and Trust system fair.

Assuming they are alt accounts, there's no wrongdoing here unless he's using the alts to cheat in bounties or whatnot.  If he's using his alt account to "reinforce" his opinions in his own threads, that's a fucked up thing to do but I'm not sure what kind of punishment it deserves, if any.

And as far as whether these two accounts are linked, I'd have to say I wouldn't be confident enough to tag them even if they were abusing bounties based on the evidence presented here.  It certainly is possible they're alt accounts, but I'm not convinced one way or another.

Nah, I am not worried about them abusing bounty campaign or anything of that sorts as @poutintsev was involved in way more serious stuff than that, like account buying and other dodgy ICO promotion tactics. Since his old account is tagged, I think that he reactivated new one.

I am 99.99% sure that it's the same person behind both of those accounts but I still wanted to hear opinion of others in case I missed something here, which I actually did.

If you check @ico-services website info (https://archive.fo/Pw5TN) it leads to http://www.immortality.foundation. To quote them "Immortality Foundation plans to bring human immortality to an achievable distance and enable common human to take advantage of the latest scientific and medical breakthroughs to reach one or the other form of true biological immortality." Quite an ambitious goal I must say, but guess who is behind Immortality Foundation? None other than Filip Poutintsev aka @poutintsev. Another coincidence? I think not.

1. Promoting ANN bumping group is not wrong nor illegal.
2. Buying high ranking accounts is not wrong nor illegal.
3. If a person was consulting an ICO that turned out to be dishonest, it doesn't mean that he did anything wrong or even knew about the scam. Or with that logic do you blame all workers of Mt. Gox and Blockchain.com for the scams their company did?

Just because you don't agree with him or don't like him, it doesn't mean that there has been any violation.

P.S. The reason for the use of alt-account is obviously that you tainted his account with fake negative trust scores. Assholes like you do it, to everyone who you don't like. For this reason lot of Bitcointalk.org user have alt-accounts, with what they can say what they want without the fear of getting revenged.

It might be a good idea to check your facts first before attacking someone with personal insults. Rikafip never gave a negative trust to @poutintsev.


And as for the connection between @poutintsev and @ico-services accounts, I think this is more than enough proof:

That article was signed by "FILIP POUTINTSEV". After that he continues with a screenshot that appears to be an email from Blockchain.com to filip @ poutintsev.com. That's, basically, self-confession.

It certainly isn't  illegal, but it's also something that legit projects simply won't do for many reasons, mostly because those who are offering such services are also ready to promote the scams, without any exception. Those who really want to promote the project in a honest way will just run a signature campaign.

2. Buying high ranking accounts is not wrong nor illegal.

True, not illegal but it is frowned upon, and for a good reason. Many sold accounts were used for scam purposes so that explains why buying/selling accounts will usually get you red tagged.

I just went through a few of this guy's articles, and I just have one thing to say about Filip Poutintsev:  Dumb people who think they're smart are the most dangerous force in the universe.  It's a good thing this guy is SO DUMB, he's not fooling anyone.

Take another look at the feedback I left to @ico-services, does that look like a negative feedback, or neutral? I even marked it so you can see better. As you can see, he has 2 negative feedbacks, but from other members, not me. By the way, thanks for remidning me to this, I might actually change it to negative now





Since you obviously don't know the difference between positive/neutral/negative feedbacks, you might wanna check LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system.

2. People buy accounts, because it's almost impossible to get enough merit as a newbie. Old members like you never give merit to new members. Some buy old accounts to run the signature campaign, which you mentioned as alternative to bumping service. Everyone knows that as a newbie the things you can do on this forum are very limited, so that's the reason why people buy old accounts.

It looks like you have no better things to do.
There are actual criminals in crypto space who have stole money form other people. I suggest you to focus on them.

Sometimes I really wonder how some of these scammers think. They think we are so naive and stupid here. Mr poutintsev just go make another alt account. This comeback has been a big fail.

I can't imagine why trustworthy project would like to have a bunch of newbie accounts shilling and writing nonsense like "great project" or "kyz project will make x100"as that's how ANN thread bumping usually looks like, especially since those same newbie accounts are usually shilling scam projects at the same time. I have yet to find thread bumping group that didn't promote scam at one point. And when I say scam, I mean an obvious scam like ponzi schemes or projects with fake team members.

Almost impossible to get merit as a newbie? Another misconception. Sure, it takes some effort, but if you are active, helpful and don't write nonsense  you will eventually rank up. So did I and many others before and after me. If anything, there is a lack of quality newbie members on the forum.
