Bitcoin gold is thousands of miles away to be next bitcoin.people isn't going to believe that even i couldn't think about bitcoin gold as next crypto dominance coin cause top altcoin like eth,bnb,polkadot are already in market with full of potentiality and marketcap is close to bitcoin's marketcap.even if bitcoin gold really had potentiality to be next bitcoin, then it wouldn't wait rather it were already take place of ether, polkadot

I still remember buying this BTG for the first time in early 2018, at that time the price was around $ 170, at that time the price dropped drastically and I panicked and then 'cut loss'. I lost 90% of my fund due to the high bearish of this coin. since then I was never sure about this altcoin.

Lol one thing you have to know is that almost every altcoins that was created, about eighty percent of them were all created to be better than Bitcoin and replace it, but after all is said and done Bitcoin still retains its position as the never one in the market.

Yeah, there is no chance that this could ever happen, it is impossible but I like to see these hopeful people. Sure go ahead and hope this thing will become huge, why not, everyone else building someone and hoping it will skyrocket so you go ahead and do that too. In this crypto world if you do not trust anything and if you do not invest or work or at least hope for something, you will not gain anything at all and you will lose all your money.

It means you need to work hard and hope for the best in this world. Do I believe bitcoin gold will be next bitcoin? Of course not, I do not think anything could be next bitcoin, nothing is like bitcoin, not even ethereum, but could this thing make some people some money? Well of course, so many coins went up in the past, so many are growing even today, so I do not see any reason why someone who invest into bitcoin gold would profit or lose more than some other ones, it could be either profitable or not, both are possible.

I think that most people react negatively to altcoins, because all BTC forks are nothing. Think about why they are needed? If we have BTC and this is our gold. I don't see any alternative today as a means of payment.

If there is an altcoin that can compete with bitcoin prices I think it's only temporary hype. including YFI. Bitcoin gold is unsuccessful hard fork of BTC. There were a lot of expectations, but happened as usually. Bitcoin Gold is not worth attention at all. Don't know why you are so excited with it. Better to invest in BTC, then in any of its forks.

indeed many people will say that bitcoin gold is not getting successful. but we never know in the future. remember bitcoin up to this point is not easy. took years to achieve and become very popular.
I would not say Bitcoin gold is a failed asset. but if you choose to invest, choosing bitcoin would be better.

The discussion about replacing bitcoin every year comes up. I think Bitcoin cannot be replaced by new altcoins. first came the news about BCH. But in fact it can't happen it's just hype that makes BCH prices high. and yesterday YFI because the price exceeds BTC made many people speculate that way. fundamentally and bitcoin history is strong enough. people's trust is high in bitcoin

What ever the statement you say, there is no coin on earth could replace butcoin, if there is some problem. Bitcoin community will only upgrade the protocol. Bitcoin is on the place which we call it " Too Big To Fail " now. Many people say ethereum or other good altcoin but still can not replace bitcoin.

I'm Sometimes, it really surprise me when people come with different topics saying one coin will take over from BTC. Though till now majority bof people still dont know what BTC is used for. And in the real sense, it has not major use, and what utility it represent. With the coming or development of other altcoins, each coin is now attached to solving a particular problem. This quality I missing when comes to BTC. Me, personally I do not see any altcoins coming close to BTC anytime soon.  It has come to stay and it's not ever going to come down. Will shout let that stick into our head.

Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond are not much different, I mean the development, maybe a few years ago BTG was good and became a potential coin, but after DeFi I didn't see anything interesting about BTG (this is my personal opinion),
and another reason, when yesterday I made a deposit on the exchange using BTG it took more than 30 confirmations about more than 6 hours to enter my exchange wallet.
In my opinion, before talking about technology, I think the issue of transaction speed and confirmation on exchange must be resolved first.

The only thing that OP really hopes for will happen is that the price of its BTG will go up.  And even if we say that time will come it will never replace the seated king on the throne, the one, and only Bitcoin.  And even if a few more forks are pulled out of the BTC rib (as if it does have it  ), whatever precious stone is attached after his name, it will never be thrown out of the seat.

I'm never in support of any bitcoin forks, I don't care if people feel the forks are the main bitcoin whether it's bitcoin cash, bitcoin SV, bitcoin Gold, bitcoin diamond etc, personally I won't even buy any of those coins cause I see them as sh*t coins(imitation) , I think its high time people stop searching for the next bitcoin cause that's what have been hearing since, the fact is there's never going to be another cryptocurrency as Bitcoin BTC and stop investing in sh*t coins hoping its the next bitcoin.

I think people are now adults and maybe they don't invest in bitcoin forks anymore for some reason. especially that a coin fork cannot replace the original coin. Bitcoin will remain king, quite clearly, bitcoin has dominated the market with the dominant exchange rate, you can't deny that fact because bitcoin has consistently and always dominates this cryptoqurrency market.

No one is talking about Bitcoin gold nowadays and no one is using it for making payments or any other purpose. There was a time when BTG had some value. Back in 2017 December, the exchange rate was above BTC0.02 per coin (the current exchange rate is around 98% lower). Those who invested in BTG have witnessed most of their capital going up in smoke. And if I am not wrong, BTG is no longer in the top-100 list of Coinmarketcap.
